I visited the store at Birkinshaw and was given plenty of time to browse uninterrupted. When I had settled on 2 choices of sofa, Scott the sales assistant answered all my questions on fabric,size,delivery, payments etc. His knowledge was invaluable. Scott was extremely patient and not once did I feel rushed to make my choice. I had previously visited the Glasgow Fort branch but found the staff too pushy and condecending. Scott at Birkinshaw secured my order with his excellent service.

Ordered a Tizzolo suite from SCS in July 2025, delivered October 2025.

To be fair, the Snuggle Chair has been absolutely fine. My complaint has always related only to the 3 Seater Power Recliner.

Within around 4 weeks of delivery I reported issues including loud noises when reclining, cushions flattening, and decorative stitching/thread coming away.

An engineer attended in January 2026 and some work was carried out, however the problems were not fully resolved. We were then advised replacement covers were required, but the wrong parts were later ordered and sent.

As of today, the decorative stitching issue still remains unresolved, and the reclining noise is returning.

Most frustrating has been the aftercare experience. We have been passed back and forth between SCS and their repair agent Emeria Group, with each directing us to the other. We now feel we have exhausted all possible avenues simply trying to get an ongoing fault resolved.

Very disappointing experience after spending a significant amount on new furniture.

On entering store was greeted by friendly staff, spotted sofa that l liked and Jason gave me lots of information regarding my choice, was very knowledgeable and answered all questions l had, overall an enjoyable experience.

Great service and first class advice. No hard sell. We were greeted politely when we arrived, given space to look around and when we wanted any info Rob was at hand to supply it. Overall first rate.

I didn't catch our sales persons name but he was very helpful allowed us time to make our decision without pressure, very good at his job.

I had an idea what I was looking for but as yet hadn’t see it . Anyway on my way out of shop I spotted a lovely chair . We had a good look and tried it out then we were approached by a lovely man called Ian in your birkenshaw /uddingston store . He was very helpful showing us how the chair worked etc and about the colours and fabrics available . He then left me to have time to look and think to myself and that he was available should I need any help . This is what I like as I hate to be followed around and harassed . So I made my choice ordered my new chair with Ian’s help and looking forward to it being delivered .

Warm welcome from the shop assistant. Listened professionally but at the same time helped me in finding the perfect sofa and armchair required. Especially for my need being disabled. Would also like to thank Poltrona'sofa for allowing my little dog on the premises. Would recommend.

Very warm welcome from Ian, allowed us to browse shop without feeling pressure. Eventually when felt ready Ian was very knowledgeable and helped me to pick the style and colour of the couch I was interested in, also got an affordable deal. Whole process from start to finish was stress free, all staff were lovely in shop, great vibes.

We were welcomed by a lovely salesman who I think was called David at the SCS store in Birkinshaw.
He allowed us time to browse and explained the sofa colours etc once we decided to purchase.

As soon as we walked through the door, Andrew was there to greet us with a friendly smile, gave us all the information we needed to navigate the store, offered tea, coffee or water whilst we browsed even sat down engaging us in conversation outside of sofa shopping. He wasnt pushy like other salesmen in other stores, made us feel comfortable and welcome. We left after choosing a few sofa's we liked and went back a few days later. We appreciated Andrews good customer service that we requested to deal with him directly and left the store that day with a brand new sofa. Quality of product 10/10, ticked all our boxes and more. Would 100% recommend Andrew to anyone looking to purchase a sofa from Poltronesofa. Customer service second to none.

1 visited both Uddingston and the branch at thr Fort, Glasgow. I bought a sofa in both shops and was delighted that the sofa from Uddingston was,delivered in days as it was old stock. Unfortunately I'm having to wait until July for the sofa ordered at the Fort to arrive ( ordered in March ) . My husband died in March and I am trying to decorate our house in memory of what he was trying to achieve. Apart from the wait everything went well including pleasant, helpful staff in both branches.
