its good stuff but the only thing is the sales people follow you around i dont like that not good

Very friend staff from the moment I walked into store, didn’t feel rushed or pressured to make a purchase and was shown multiple different options and materials. The staff were so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure I found something I was happy with. Sofas are also amazing quality which made purchasing one an easy choice.

Sean was a great advisor, listened and reacted positively to all my wife's and my questions. We finally ordered a 2 and 3 seater leather sofa. Keep up the good work, looking forward to delivery in August.

We were made welcome on arrival. Jamie was polite and helpful and explained all about the different variations about purchasing a new sofa, he was not pushy but made him self available for questioning.

All very and professional in the store and delivery was very friendly and very helpful.

We live in a townhouse and explained to the salesperson that the sofas we would be buying needed to be modular to be able to be transported upstairs and he assured us all would be fine. In the event a 2 seater sofa was able to be delivered but the 3 seater had to be returned to the depot. It was then delivered a week later disassembled and reassembled on site at an additional cost of £200 which had to be paid in cash. I did raise a formal complaint but radio silence from SCS. Disappointing to say the least.

We were warmly greeted by Karen in the Hedge End shop when we walked through the door. She listened to what we were looking for and pointed out several options, explaining features of those we liked. We then went to another sofa shop nearby and came back to buy a sofa with Karen. She is helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive like in some shops. Good product, good staff, good shop.

I purchased a sofa from the hedge end store , and at time of purchase I was told that i could order the footstall and headrests at a later date, when I had saved the money , I went back into the hedge end store to order stool and headrests , we were greeted at the door and once we said we only wanted to order a foot stool and headrests all of a sudden the staff had no interest even though there was about 10 just standing around doing nothing ,at this point I walked out and drove to the Waterlooville portsmouth store what a difference, we entered the store and two young sales assistants could not do enough to try and help the young lady was called Jessica and really helpfull she checked all delivery times for the stool and then I said I wanted 2 x headrests as well that's when I was told I could no longer buy the headrests on there own I have to buy a sofa to get them, but I had already bought that ! So I got the stool ordered with the help of Jessica which im very grateful for , but very disappointed I can no longer get the headrests , the really annoying thing is the hedge end store still had the price tickets on the store headrests at a reduced price from £99 to £79 and no mention that I can no longer buy them I will think very hard about returning again. .

Delivery was effortless and on time. The guys were friendly and took care of putting suite together. Only a small problem was that when testing controls on settee, the but were different at each end. I queried this and was told it was okay. After they left we checked the connections and they had connected it up wrong. Changed them over and all works the same, just incase this happens to anybody else.

We were looking for a new sofa and decided that Hedge End Southampton would be a good place to start with several suppliers in close proximity. Poltronesofa was our third port of call and we immediately realised that this store was different with easy going staff and a broad choice of styles and fabrics. The lady that we dealt with was Karen, a lady of great experience in furniture retail and extremely knowledgeable about the products available. It was so easy, job done!

We visited a couple of times and the help we had was fantastic. No pressure to buy and everything explained so well

Ordered 2 sofas in September 2025, delivered 1st December as arranged. 2 months later noticed one seat pad on recliner raised / distorted. Waited 3 weeks for the company to come and look at it on 24th March 2026. Said it needed complete seat pad replacement as the glue fixing it had failed. Told 12 weeks to get new bottom seat pad and on 25th March received email saying this was now going to be 9 weeks. Obviously still waiting, not good considering it was only 2 months old when it became faulty and and now we have to wait till June 2026 for it to be repaired. Why does something I’d expect to last 10 years go faulty after just 2 months and take another 3 months from reporting it to get fixed.

SCS Southampton were no use when we initially visited with the issue and quickly ushered us out of the showroom to stop other customers hearing of our issues, just told us to ring the number on our emailed documentation 🤦‍♂️. I won’t be recommending these sofas to anyone… poor / slow after sales service unfortunately…

Finally repaired today 7 months since purchase 02/07/26… all that arrived was 2 peices of foam and a new seat pad, there is no reason for the delay in delivering these items.. other than they prioritise new customer settees over fixing ones that fail after 1 month of use… poor customer service isn’t harsh enough… I’ll never buy another from this company

Top marks! The sofa looks fantastic — excellent materials, very comfortable, and exactly the colour and size we were looking for. The shop staff were consistently helpful and patient throughout the selection process, and the delivery team was both respectful and knowledgeable.

Really knowledgeable people and they care about your needs for a great sofa as well.

The salesman was extremely helpful and didn't hover over us like most places. He left us to browse and answered any questions we had in full. Everything was explained clearly.
Dan was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wish more sales people were like him.

Great help in store from a very helpful member of staff. Ordering was easy. We received notification of delivery around the time we were expecting it so that was confirmed by us. We were informed the day of delivery of the possible time slot. We were given a link to show delivery transit and kept up to date the whole time. Delivery was faultless and the delivery men were very professional and polite. We are also delighted by the lounge suite we ordered!

Matthew in Southampton was excellent at helping us to choose our perfect sofa (crociale 3 corner 3 with recliners). We particularly found choosing a fabric difficult due to lighting in store vs lighting at home. He talked through the benefits and disadvanges of different types of fabric/leather and benefits of protection and we ultimately were very happy with the choice we made after looking at samples outside. The lead time is a little longer than we'd like, but we understand this is because our sofa has to be individually manufactured. We can't wait for mid-July when our sofa arrives.
