Could do better.…
Great customer service however I now believe the price has dropped since making a purchase AND it now includes free delivery which I had to pay for. I think the staff should have made me aware of this. Very disappointed.

Think twice about using this company
This company seriously need to improve communication. My sofa was due 29th November but did not happen. It was then confirmed delivery 21st December but did not happen with no explanation as to why and receiving 6 texts confirming delivery.
On phoning customer services there was a 200 minute queue (yes 200). I tried again later when this time I was offered a call back call. 3 hours later someone called and we arranged for another delivery date of 31st December. This time it did arrive.
Customers are not able to phone the store. Store managers can only email and wait for a reply. The email option for customers does not work. The whole process is a shambles.

Received 2 sofas on 6/12 one arrived…
Received 2 sofas on 6/12 one arrived with broken frame, sent email to customer services, advised someone would contact me in 2-3 working days, nothing. Resent email on 11/12, still not heard anything. Have had letter from finance company stating 1st payment to come out on 6/1, hardly fair when I’ve got goods that are not fit for purpose. Poor customer service, average wait time on phone is an hour, at best.

I am so sorry to hear your sofa arrived with a broken frame, I can understand how upset and disappointed you must have felt, we expect your goods to arrive in perfect condition and I am shocked to hear it has arrived damaged.
From a review of your account I can see a service has been logged with Emmiera our upholstering technicians to come out and inspect the 2 seater sofa. Once they have attended and given us their report and recommendations we will call you to discuss the outcome of their visit.
I understand your payments are due to start in January 2025 while we await the technicians report and any possible repair being done I have asked our Business Support Team to request a 3 month hold on your payments to V12 as it is not acceptable to ask you to make payments on a sofa you are unable to use. I hope this is an acceptable resolution for you.
Once again please accept my sincere apologies for any upset and inconvenience we may have caused.

The lady showed me around the store all the sofas suit my needs and budget. Even after a while i was there looking around the staff helped me finding the best way to pay such great place to go if on need a sofa recommended others if need new sofa go there.

Looking over your order I can see that we did initially estimate for your goods to arrive at our Distribution Centre around 29/11/24. As this is estimated we do advise that the date can change by 4 weeks either side.
At the moment your order is estimated for arrival to us around 13/12/24 however we will contact you once this is ready for delivery.

Couldn't be happier
After stopping at the Dartford shop on a whim we were greeted by Em a wonderful cheerful lady who was happy to help and answer our questions. As we were leaving we spotted a lovely sofa but again we needed to ask some questions. Em came over and was really happy to help. We explained that we were buying a new sofa and possibly the raise and recline chair for dad as he has had a stroke, Em told us that as dad would be registered disabled we could get a discount on the chair. Unfortunately until these things happen you don't know what is available to you. So we decided to buy the sofa Em explained that if we did buy today she would see if she could get us another discount on the sofa and chair, she went off to speak to her boss and came back with the biggest smile she had managed to get us another 20% off. We couldn't have been happier, money is tight as I've had to give up my job to take care of dad. A massive THANK YOU to Em you're a star .

Pleasant and painless buying experience.
Visited today to view and purchase a new sofa. Was pleasantly greated upon entry by multiple staff and guided around by the lovely Em. Very helpful and very knowledgeable to help us make the right decision for us. No pressure to buy but we made our decision and Em made it a very simple and easy process with a few jokes along the way. Very nice and polite salesperson a credit to the SCS dartford outlet. Highly recommend a visit for your new sofa! Em will help you make the right decision for you.

Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. Scs are scammers, I purchased sofa just over a year ago and the leather has started peeling, stitches coming undone. I contacted the customer service and was told to pay £75 for technician call out. I paid £75 and send pictures and the technician has not been in touch. I called the customer service line today and was told that someone should have been in touch with me. The sofa looks worn out, leather coming apart, stitches undone and SCS does not care. Check out there face book page SCS SOFA & FURNITURE COMPLAINTS. They have ripped so many peole off. I want my full refund for the sofa as is off no use to me, the leather is peeling. I also want my £75 paid for technician back, nobody has got I touch with me. STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF, their hard earned money.
