Excellent customer service from point of ordering to delivery updates to the actual delivery. The delivery on the day was slightly earlier than expected which was great and we were kept informed, lovely lads no messing about… brought sofas in, assembled and took rubbish away… excellent!

I purchased a sofa from here 3 and a half months ago and had a terrible experience. Having paid a deposit I was given a date of 12 April 2025 for the sofa to be delivered. After trying to contact SCS on multiple occasions through the phone in the first week of April for an update I checked the tracking tab which showed the sofa was due at the distribution centre on 28 April 2025. After this date had passed I again received no updates and was unable to get in touch with anyone over the phone. So I went into store and spoke to the manager who said the distributor was not providing updates and causing delays. I would have cancelled at the point but the contract stated I had to wait till 11 May 2025. Just before this date I received an email stating that it would be delivered on 31 May 2025. So, I thought maybe I will get the sofa after all. However, yesterday I received a text message stating the delivery had been cancelled due to a "delay". Absolutely appalling service as there was barely any communication for the first 2 and a half months. No apology, compensation offered or confirmation of refund.

I had a telephone call from the delivery team to say they were 10 minutes away, they delivered my furniture with care, paying attention to the surroundings, put it all together, it looks lovely, they were both really friendly and helpful, cannot fault them in any way.

The guys arrived on time , big smiles on their faces happy in their work , very courteous and professional .

Put a claim in for furniture leather damage on a sofa less than 12 months old. SCS and their technician claim it is scratch damage due to our dog clawing the seat and arm of the sofa. Amazing how our dog can do this as she has never been on this part of the furniture. It is clear to see the leather has stretched and discoloured through just normal use so the quality is obviously very poor. My advice, stay away from SCS they'll take your £6000 then leave you in the mire.

The difficulty in parking and transporting the furniture to the property was complicated. The guys were positive and worked tirelessly to quickly complete the challenging job.

Ordered a 4seater and a 3 seater sofa 27th January 2025 paid in full was told 6-8weeks. Fine, we’ve had no communication 12 weeks later still waiting. Called customer services on hold for 5hrs finally after selecting a call back someone called me back 3 hours later. To be told manufacturing delay. We finally had a email to say it will be arriving today 10th may. Still no communication as to any issues. We finally took delivery this morning at 9:35 of our sofa, but only the 4 seater arrived. Went to the shop to ask and apparently we ordered separately and was an outstanding delivery fee £125. We paid by card so 1 they could have taken the payment 2 we paid in full.
Was told to call customer services we did only to be on hold for 3 hrs, pressed option 1 to get a call and as of yet I’m still waiting.
NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SHOP WITH SCS. SORT YOURSELVES OUT.

Helped when needed, not pushing for business. Offered drinks and able to browse no hassle.

After I wrote an initial bad review as my sofa was due 23/4, I finally had a call back and received my corner sofa today . The delivery guys were really friendly and put the sofa together for me and checked my recliners were working . The reason ppl are receiving their sofas late is due to the company being taken over and scs are doing their best to rectify this and so don’t give up hope if you are still waiting. I’m very happy with my sofa :-)

Brought settee be for from scs 10 years ago needed new one so popped in shop sales person really nice and helpful and helped us on best way to buy settee

We were looked after by Giovanni and Gulab at our recent visit to the Castle Vale branch and the two did an amazing job showing us around and making sure we find the perfect sofa for us.

They were both very inviting and helpful, especially Giovanni did an excellent job walking us through the order process.
It never felt pushy or overwhelming. Can recommend.

We purchased a 3 piece 2 years ago on line from SCS
A big mistake as we were very disappointed, it was very uncomfortable cant really blame the company it was our own fault
We went back to SCS Castle vale Birmingham in January and we fell in love with their new TAVIANO Italian Leather Reclining 3 seater settees! They are AMAZING So comfortable and great quality Worth the wait -- However, because of their quality they are extremely heavy. We were so concerned for the two young men who delivered them, luckily we have French doors on the rear of our property as they refused to bring them through the front door!
By doing this they had to carry them further - They couldnt carry them. They ended up cutting all the protective wrapping off in the street risking damaging them. Nothing was discussed at point of sale I seriously think this particular model should be looked at!!

Completely and utterly disgusting behaviour from a so called house hold name in regards to customer service! Purchased a sofa, in full, on the 27 January with a lead delivery time of 6-8 weeks. Here we are 12 weeks later and delayed again for the second time. Currently have been on hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes and not once has someone answered the phone. If this was a small business you’d be screaming it’s fraudulent. No communication at all from scs regarding either of the delays not even a poxy email update NOTHING. 1700 pound down the drain as it stands. There are 10 different furniture establishments near me who would snap your arm of for that kind of money and it would be delivered next day guaranteed. If this is not resolved within the next 7 days I will be demanding a refund and reporting them to trading standards!

Extremely positive experience in store. No pressure just lots of advice information and a very friendly service.

Aimrik and Gulab have been great nothing was too much despite my 101 questions.
