DO NOT BUY FROM SCS / POLTRONESOFÀ — ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I cannot stress this strongly enough: DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY.

I purchased a supposedly high-spec, fully functioning sofa from SCS in February. Despite ordering it in February, it finally arrived in July — and on the very same day, I reported that parts of the sofa were not working.

Since then, I have been given excuse after excuse.

First, I was told replacement parts had been ordered. Then I was told the parts were waiting to clear customs. Now, months later, I am still left with a faulty sofa, the problem has not been resolved, and my emails are simply being ignored.

What makes this even more frustrating is the impression I was left with during the sales process. In my experience, the staff will tell you whatever they need to tell you to secure the sale, but once they have your money, the level of customer service disappears.

The difference between the attention you receive when they want your money and the treatment you receive once you have paid is absolutely disgraceful.

I have paid for a product that does not work as it should, reported the problem immediately, and have spent months chasing a company that appears to have little interest in actually resolving the issue.

The lack of communication is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a company for months just to get a faulty product repaired.

I deeply regret purchasing from SCS/Poltronesofà and would strongly urge anyone considering using them to STOP and read the reviews first.

Based on my experience, I would never purchase from this company again.

Very good communication, regular updates advising on when to expect delivery, delivery crew arrived bang on time, they were quick, professional and put the chair back in very quick time. Overall a very good and highly satisfactory service. Well done.

My experience with SCS has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. At the point of sale, I was not informed that my sofa could be subject to a delay of up to four weeks. Had I been made aware of this before completing my purchase, I would have made a different decision.

To make matters worse, my experience with the manager has been extremely poor. The lady I have dealt with has been rude and dismissive, and her attitude towards me as a customer has been completely unacceptable. I am not sure what “high horse” she thinks she is sitting on, but she needs to come down a few notches and come back to reality.

Customers should not be spoken to or treated in this manner. I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, particularly when I am raising a legitimate concern about a purchase and a delay that I was not made aware of at the point of sale.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled and the lack of professionalism shown towards me.

From start to finish the selection and order process was very simple. Everything was explained in perfect detail, special Thanks to Rhianna who was incredibly helpful and friendly, not at all pushy and answered all of my questions with knowledge and professionalism.

Unable to comment on delivery and final product as I've delayed the arrival at a time to suit myself, but the process of doing so was also hassle free.

Driver also contacted us to give an estimated time of delivery on the day
Boys delivered ( not to be set up) to our garage very quickly

Really good customer service, not pushy sales just helpful, patience assistance! Very nice product range and much better than other sofa stores because the choice of fabrics/colours can be applied to any other sofas not just specific styles! Very happy

Mandy the assistant was very helpful and helped me to find the perfect sofa. Price very reasonable and it was delivered on time. The correspondence excellent and the driver rang me 20 before they completed the delivery.

Ordering was ok but communication not that good as firstly wrong house number on paperwork was wrong and contact telephone number.

While in the shop, I never felt pressured. Any questions I had were answered clearly. There is an amazing range of fabrics. The salesperson ( trainee ) was very helpful. The only minor criticism would be that after deciding on my purchase, the sales procedure is quite lengthy.
