As an engineering masters student I have found Scholarcy to be the most powerful tool in my education tool box.

Easy-to-use user interface allows for good organisation of sources and literature.

I highly recommend this to all students and learners.

I highly recommend using this platform if you’re a student, and have been set readings. The system summarises the text, once you upload it and it splits up the writings into several, diverse sections summarising big chunks of information. The recent updates seem super. It seems the app gets better and better, day by day! The support team are friend and reply promptly. I can only speak highly of this application as it has been super beneficial for me.

This has been a game changer for my study. Where previously I'd either not read the 'extra readings' for my units (bachelor's degree), I now do all my readings through Scholarcy in seconds. So easy to use and helpful in summarising the important points. I even run my lectures through Scholarcy and have all my readings and lectures organised under separate folders. So helpful when studying for exams and preparing essays. Highly recommend.

I am a graduate student with goo-goobs of reading material. Oftentimes I do not have the time or the energy to read line for line, that's where Scholarcy is a life saver. I can download a document and wahlah, Scholarcy pulls out what I need to know to respond intelligently to the assignment. That's worth the price! As a matter of fact, I'd call this priceless!

I have been using Scholarcy for 2-3 years. It is a great software for reading many articles, as it summarizes them well. However, I do observe that there are repetitious summaries, e.g., "Scholarcy Summary" and "Key points." Unfortunately, Scholarcy is unable to summarise court judgments, which I need to use in the course of my research. Also, one drawback is that we cannot change the currency once we have registered our account using a particular currency. I am glad to see more and more updates to the Scholarcy software.

When I encountered a challenge with one of Scholarcy's features, Oliver Back was very prompt in responding to my query and he provided simple and effective steps to resolve it. He also provided a video tutorial which was very helpful and professional. Thanks Oliver.

Excellent at answering questions speedily, giving links to videos. Usually I feel like a nuisance, because it takes me a while to get a procedure, but they don’t make me feel irritating at all- very patient .

Very useful as a support in reading literature and in dense works such as systematic reviews.

Not only is the app really useful, the support and service they provided has been honestly unreal its really helped me get the best out of scholarcy. If you are having difficulties reach out, the team are really helpful and provided bespoke videos to help me use the app better. Recommend highly.

Scholarcy has the potential to be the best summary research organising tool, and for some, I believe this can be an amazing tool.

I am autistic, and when I read papers, I often have no idea what I should be highlighting, Getting to the gist of things can be a challenge. This is a pro with Scholarcy as it also provides a synopsis. It allows you to click on the citation from that paper and sometimes connects you to the right page. It has a feature where you can hover over acronyms if you've forgotten what the acronym is, which I thought was amazing as it saves you from scrolling to the top of the paper.

However, Scholarcy does not show you the full pdf, and when you click on the full text, their AI often changes the structure of the text so that it is disjointed and hard to follow. For example, it may randomly put a citation link in the middle of the text. This can cause me to feel very stressed. The interface was quite a lot for me, sensory-wise, if they had a more simple interface, that would be ideal.

You can't edit the important notes, and when you highlight the full text, it asks you to join an external app called Highlight, which may be the best thing in the world, and maybe if it was the beginning of the university year and I had time to figure out how they interlinked, it may work seamlessly.

Scholarcy also does not offer student discounts, unlike their competitors, however, they said they will be updating this.

Probably after a few more updates, Scholarcy could be a very strong tool.

Love that I can customize the settings to make the summaries shorter. Great tool

This service basically copies and pastes certain sections of articles/chapter and claims that this is "AI summarizing." The quality dropped significantly, interestingly enough, a few weeks after my free subscription expired. The interface is also glitchy. Do not pay money for this service.

Scholarcy is a really useful way to get to the important bits of a journal article and saves lots of time

I was very satisfied with the summaries that helped me in my literature review assignment. Since some sentences in the summaries were not actually sentences, some points needed to be corrected. Some sentences were interrupted and made no sense. That's why I gave it 1 star lower.
