When sent a link to sign up for an account the link gave a 404 error. Went to their website and found a way to sign up, but said my address was wrong. Checked it at least 5 times. 2 days later same thing, finally called and was told I’m a day past due. They just sent me a sign up 2 days ago. They are not on top of things, wish the dealer would have used a different lender. Santander is horrible, I don’t know how we should trust them handling finances when they don’t have their basic stuff together.

UPDATE: I have tried twice to respond to the Santander email about my review - it is very encrypted & my laptop believes it to be SPAM. I have finally (after 3X changing my password) - been able to get into the website and set up for auto payments. BUT - I received two separate emails confirming on two different days - so now I worry about them taking my first payment out twice! Unless you want to reach out to me to tell me you finally have gotten a mobile app - no need to reach out. I will continue to dislike the fact that Tesla chose Santander to finance my vehicle - especially with my great credit score.

Santander's website and customer service is by far the worst I have used over the last 40 years of financing. I recently purchased a new vehicle and Santander was selected by the manufacturer - and I could not be more dissatisfied. I cannot even make my initial payment. They do not have a mobile app (they need to get with the times). Cannot wait til i can pay off the loan in a few months!!!

It's great cause this company gave me another chance after I paid off the other loan before the date and it was very high interest but it gave me another time with this purchase of the 2020 Chevy.

Well I got very impressed and have to come back and change my review. After I posted this, I received a call from Santander and the agent apologized and said that was a misunderstanding and she sent me the title of the car right away while I was on the call. That was indeed a customer service you don't see much these days. I appreciate it.

Awful and very slow customer service.. I just wanted a copy of the title to register the car in another state, it took me 1 email, 15 min phone call and they say it will take 7 business days!!!! Now I cannot register the car and so cannot drive it

I have tried to login via your website; however, when I get to the page where you are supposed to send me a link, code, etc to login; the area is visually blocked with a dialog window. I cannot move the window to click the button to receive the code.

Paid-off loan, no lien release, no real title support
I paid off my Santander Consumer USA auto loan and received a paid-in-full letter, but that letter is not a lien release. My vehicle title is still tied up because Santander has not completed the required lien release process with the state where the vehicle is titled.

I have a private buyer waiting to purchase the car, but I cannot complete the sale or obtain the title until Santander sends the official lien release. I have contacted Santander multiple times through chat, phone, and fax. The responses have been incomplete, inconsistent, or unhelpful. I have also faxed written requests to their Title Department asking for specific confirmation and have received no response.

The most frustrating part is that once a loan is paid in full, a customer should be able to get clear, timely assistance from someone who understands the title/lien release process. Instead, I have been bounced around, given conflicting information, and left without confirmation that the required lien release has been sent.

This has been an unacceptable customer service experience for a paid-off auto loan.

Very thorough and thoughtful

Worst customer service ever! It’s all done thru call centers who do not understand or speak English. They read scripts from computers and won’t transfer you to the US side even after you get a call from the US side. Truly the worst company I’ve ever dealt with!

This company is extremely predatory; they reported 19 instances of 90-day late payments when all payments were made on time, and the math of these payments was statistically impossible. They sent the contract with instructions on how to pay to a random address not associated with me. Customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. The staff is very unapologetic, rude, and incredibly slow. If possible, I would recommend that nobody use this service, as they will find a way to make your life very difficult. They are very deceptive with their policies, and they add delinquencies, then claim they did not. I am not some jaded customer, I have evidence of this example happening to me. This company should be investigated for deceptive/ fraudulent activity, and it is a shame they target people who have no/bad credit, knowing that there are no other options. There is no APR under 13%. making payments to your loan is very hard to do unless they assist you, and they will take about 30-45 minutes on average to assist you with very simple things.

This is my2nd attempt TO ASK YOU TO TAKE OFF MY LATE HUSBANDS NAME OFF THE LANE. I CANNOT GET MY REGISTRATION RENEWED UNTIL THEN. YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD SEND AN EMAIL. I NEVER GOT IT. I'VE BEEN TO DMV TWICE NOW AND CANNOT GET MY REGISTRATION RENEWED. IF THIS CONTINUES I WILL LET MY LATE HUSBAND MAKE THE PAYMENT INSTEAD OF ME!

I applied for auto loans with a company. This company, Santander Bank, completely lied in a letter and made excuses to not let me get a vehicle this year. This is a sexist , racist company.

The log in page is garbage. There’s a caution that populates right over the button to send a text or email. So I can’t log in at all. I’m a new user but the front page says it’s a new look. Very much a downgrade I’m assuming. This applies to mobile view as well as desktop when viewed in a phone.

I can’t get my account in the app, I haven’t received any documentation via US Postal Service regarding my account, my payment, payment processes, etc. Not great service. I wish Tesla had given me some choice on who was gonna manage my loan. I’m not impressed.

I was trying to setup an online account to make payments and after doing seven steps it would not let me sign in or continue any further.
The website would accept the agreement's but not do anything else after agreeing to the terms.

Myself as a co-signer for my friend bought a Mitsubishi and a dodge ram. They dont get thier information right. They apply toward interest not the principal. They mske threats. They hang up the phone when trying to talk to them. They double dip . I plan to tske legal action toward them..Ole ben Franklin are crooks also i don't recommend Santander to any one or ole ben Franklin. Rusty Wallace etc. Say they are crooks they don't deal with them.

The website is not working properly for me to even initially setup my account. Never seen this before for a new account

Can’t log in to my account. I want to make sure auto pay is activated and my first payment is scheduled.

Was not able to set up an online account to make a car lease payment called customer service and they were not able to help me difficult to understand because of heavy accents. Tried to make a payment on the automated system kept giving me the wrong amounts.
