Safestore - Bedford Omdömen 

I rented at Safestore in Kempston and was very happy with the service provided. Moe and the team were always very helpful if I had any queries. If I ever needed a unit again I would certainly go back there.

Nice location, all very clean safe and easy. Do not buy their insurance - they quoted us £342 for 3 months, got 3 months online with surewise for £23!

Staff at the bedford location very helpful and showed empathy as my removals van was running late. Manged to suggest multiple solutions in helping and went above and beyond

I’m really disappointed with the service at Safe Store in Bedford, particularly the way the management handled an issue. I rented a unit for 6 months with no problems, until one month a payment bounced. Despite having money in the account, I received a text the next day, phoned immediately, and paid straight away.

To my surprise, a £15 “late payment charge” had been added. I asked if they could waive the fee, given it hadn’t even been 24 hours and I settled it instantly, but was told no – “it’s an automated system.” I was even advised to contact my bank and try to reclaim the charge from them, as Safe Store apparently couldn’t help.

For the sake of £15, they lost a customer paying £90 a month. A simple goodwill gesture would have kept my business, but instead I was met with “it is what it is.” That attitude is shocking, and not what I’d expect from a professional storage company.

I would not recommend this branch – there are plenty of competitors offering better customer service and a more reasonable approach.

Just rented storage at the Bedford store Ash and his team could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The facilities are great and very user-friendly. pop along to see the facilities you won’t be disappointed.

I have just left Safestore in Bedford today after making a storage reservation. I am completely overwhelmed by the assistance Ash and his team provided to me, a doddering 74-year-old. During my career I've always tried to provide my best service, so it has filled me with joy to be on the receiving end of service that goes beyond my expectations. As someone who worked in IT, I would also like to give my compliments to the creators of the website who have strived to fulfil the remit of the company in providing a site that has ease of use, and clarity of detail at its heart.

I have used the safestore in Kempston for the last 16 months, the safe have been very helpful with everything, very polite and professional, if I ever need a unit again, I will go back, mainly because of the great staff, thanks again guys 👌

I went online for a quote to get a general idea of storage costs. I now receive several calls and text messages every day - even Sundays - offering deals and checking my requirements. It's harrassment and there doesn't seem to be an unsubscribe option. Emails are easier to block but the phone calls come from different numbers, even 'private numbers' so no way to stop. If I ever actually need storage I would not use this company due to their aggressive marketing tactics.

We used the Bedford Branch and Parv was excellent in helping us to choose the right size storage unit and talk us through procedures, negotiating a satisfactory price.
He was friendly and reassuring which made the experience less of a hassle.
It would have been helpful to have a second lift in the store when it was busy.

I've used the Safestore site on Elstow Road just outside Bedford both as a private individual for storage matters and as a senior Director in two local businesses for storage matters and shipping drop-off point.
Staff are helpful and professional and the storage facility is clean, well-lit and accessible. For anyone looking for efficient transactions and a secure, well-managed operation in the Bedford area I would strongly recommend this site and the management team.
