AVOID THIS COMPANY! I ordered shoes and they arrived quicker than I expected, but were too small, so I sent them back the next day. I followed their returns procedure and now a month later I have not heard anything from them (not whether they received them or when I am meant to get my money back). I have tried calling them twice, but it goes straight to an answering machine saying that they are closed and to call during opening hours or to fill out the form on their website. a) I called both times during the opening hours stated on their website (I did try calling at different times in the day), b) there is no contact form on their website, and c) the automated message does not even state the company name/website, so it could be a number for any random company. VERY FISHY!
I have furthermore emailed them via their costumer service email address (which I found via google, as it is not stated in their website) and I have also emailed them at two different email addresses from which I received emails ("Oliver" sent me my order confirmation and "Katie" keeps sending advertising emails). None of these email addresses are giving me a response and it has been a week. I honestly think this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and think this company is a scam when it comes to returns.
UPDATE: I have now received my refund, it is just a pity it had to come to me leaving a bad review before they processed my refund and before they replied to me.

DO NOT buy anything through Spartoo! I have sent 2 emails and tried phoning twice a few days apart but the phone line is ‘temporarily unavailable’!
I reiterate- DO NOT BUY FROM SPARTOO!

My order was very slow to arrive and Evri kept putting the date back (but at least Evri helpline responded to queries!) Rubbersole maintained complete radio silence . Returned the entire order and have Evri’s delivery confirmation but no acknowledgment from Rubbersole and no refund! Currently pursuing through PayPal . Terrible customer service. They have subsequently responded suggesting I phone them. I have tried to call them on the number on their website and the number provided by PayPal - no reply. I have also emailed them with no response

Sent a return as the items didn't fit. It's been 51 days and I still haven't recieved my refund. I used Evri as they provided which just says 'It's on its way back
Your parcel is on its way back to the retailer. Please contact your retailer for any further confirmation' and I have sent emails to 3 different customer service emails and tried to call (its just an answerphone message)

This used to be such a good company - I’ve ordered so many shoes over the last few years. Previously fast delivery and fast refunds too. All that has changed in last two orders. I am waiting on a refund for shoes that I returned nearly a month ago. Gobsmacked to receive a response to my enquiry to say they’d appreciate my patience! If the tables were turned I’m sure they wouldn’t be quite so patient. Will now pursue via my credit card. I doubt I will use the site again

I would like to be refunded for them, but on my account on Rubbersole they haven't made any update to the status - the return request is 'waiting to receive'. Please could someone at Rubbersole help me with this as I need to be refunded asap.

Excellent service from start to finish. Placed my first order on 3rd June with a new customer discount & received it today, 8th June. Communication throughout has been exceptional. Very satisfied & would highly recommend Rubbersole.
Ordered money taken same 4 days later and nothing. Apparently after phoning cs they take 4 days plus to get from France, then 2/3 days so order will arrive hopefully within 10 days. Should be made clear on website.

I bought Mustang boots from Rubbersole and they started to peel off after 3 months of purchase. I have worn them only occasionally. Horrible quality. I've wrote an email to customer service but they never replied. I wouldn't recommend, it's a waste of money and time.

I ordered a pair of boots and made for express delivery. They were supposed to be delivered by Evri on 09/01 but have still not arrived, with Evri saying that the delay is due to the parcel being larger than expected!

Bought some Barbour wellie short boots from this site and I just want to say credit to the company . The product was excellent value in price and quality , they came well before the 17th December deadline in fact within 24 hours of the order . Absolutely love my new boots and would recommend this website based on my customer experience - AM 13/12/25
My order was dispatched on 25th of November, for delivery on 27/28th of November. No sign of my order yet. Using Evri to deliver as I found with other companies has poor performance of delivery times. Received e-mails to apologise for delay,hopefully arrives before Christmas 😅

I bought boots for my daughter and am very pleased with both the purchase and the overall shopping experience. The item arrived quickly, was well packaged. It was as described and in brand new perfect condition. The price was also significantly lower than on the manufacturer’s website. I highly recommend Rubbersole and will definitely buy from them again.
UPDATE 18/11/2025 - Rubbersole asked me to email again to resolve non reimbursement of return postage. (See comments below for context). Emailed again on 4 November 2025, as can never get through on the phone. STILL NO RESPONSE OR REFUND OF POSTAGE AS PROMISED BY RUBBERSOLE. Avoid ordering if you may need to return and don’t want hassle and broken promises.
Tried to return my item with Yodal, the courier company used by Robbersole. All my local drop off points refused to accept the parcel as they were overloaded due to Yodal not collecting. Spoke to Rubbersole customer services who advised me to use another courier and they would refund the postage cost. Six weeks after providing my receipt and other requested details and despite chasing I have still not received the refund for my postage. Not impressed with the service provided and will not buy from Rubbersole again.

I’d ordered 4 pairs of boots to try as I live rurally. Great range, decent prices. I kept 2 and returned 2. I got worried then when I read some reviews, but I’m happy to say I received the full refunds within 24 hours after posting! And the returns were free. Considering the struggles I’ve had with another company recently I’d really happy with this!
