RT is a Russian international television network owned by a Russian state-owned company. RT is supported and controlled by the Russian government, operating as a tool for foreign media.

I have a very bad encounter with this agency. I was enquiring about getting a suitable domestic helper and was communicating with them via their whatsapp number. The other person who messaged me sent me some biodata of Indonesia helpers. I asked if their English is good because I prefer someone who can speak good English because I am unable to speak Malay and had a lot of communication problems in the past with Indonesian helpers who cannot speak English well. I was surprised by the response I received. Here is a quote "They are low wage workers where English is not their first language, if they spoke good English, I would question why they are wanting to work as helpers. If the helper spoke English well, more likely she would have other issues that would seem her unfit to work as a helper". Then when I responded that he/she is giving me what they think I need instead of considering my requirements, this person told me that I am rude and he/she won't serve me anymore and that I am the type that deserve bad customer service! I was traumatized by this "customer service" person! They have lost a potential customer and I would not recommend this agency to anyone!

RT is just another western "mainstream media" news outlet in a slightly clever disguise, not Pro-Russian at all if you read between the lines and scrutinize their subliminal western spin, showing tough gritty photos of zelensky for example while rarely showing Putin standing up and always pasty-looking with a weak, timid grin, comment section is populated by their own cheerleaders who downvote dissenting opinions to guide the weaker minds in their audience toward their (several) hidden agendas, not even fit for the dentist waiting room and in my humble opinion, People Magazine is more honest and interesting

Been reading RT since the war started and I'm still reading it. RT is a Russia state affiliated propaganda.
The comments section on the site is horrible, it is heavily censored, they setup a system to detect certain words/sentences to auto delete comments. For example: If I write a certain word "Ruzzia", it detects and deletes a whole comment. Moderators will ban you unless you comment within 5 minutes or if you write pro-ukrainian comments. 2 stars because the legendary sourvodka#### never give up creating many accounts to write funniest pro-ukrainian comments since April 2022, makes it even joyful. Thanks to sourvodka and among pro-ukrainians, I'm motivated to read comment section everyday so I can have something to laugh at :D

Russische Propaganda, wenn es nicht einfach Fehlinformationen sind, dann sind es Verschwörungstheorien, deren Zweck ist, die leute verwirrt, unsicher und leichtgläubig zu machen. Und das klar mit dem Ziel, Russland, Putin schön zu reden, den Westen, Nato, EU und die Ukraine zu diskreditieren.

Let’s you sign up but doesn’t let you comment. I presume they don’t want anyone arguing within their echo chamber. To be clear I would never post anything offensive, rude or insult other people. It’s just a bit pathetic that a news outlet tries to suppress all contrary opinions.

Russian state propaganda. All about portraying the worst possible image of the west and best possible of Kreml and especially Putin.

Excellent because it has a balance to what is going on in the west. The west blocked the site because of 'harmful' information. Am guessing we are not considered balanced enough to discern the crap from our own sites and news feeds. If not for RT looking at the others perspective we would be totally controlled by the likes of UK government statements and half truths. Def a great site.

This website is so obviously a propaganda tool for the Russian government that it makes no attempt to hide it. The choice of news items and the actual coverage are crude in the extreme. In fact, it is so poor I wonder what sort of person would be taken in by it: uncritical might be one word to describe him (or her) but naive is probably closer to the mark.

As an experiment I tried posting some comments. Anything neutral or positive appears on the site but negative comments - no matter how polite and well argued - are deleted instantly. This total censorship tells you all you need to know about RT.

Fake and government controlled news. Reports i in RT that 254 civlians reported killed by russian war in Ukraine is a straight out lie, the report said 598 confirmed. And 1 million has fled to neighboring countries. Big problem when russian citizens is being lied to by Putin controlled media. Seek true information. Rest of the world loves russians, but hate Putin who is just a new Hitler.
