Moments of truth
When we experienced a couple of manufacturers defects in our new teak table we half expected a string of excuses and references to exclusion clauses. However quite to the contrary Matthew at Royal Finesse jumped on the problem and within short order had someone attend us on site and resolve the issue to our complete satisfaction. Indeed we have experienced a model of customer service and can unreservedly recommend them as a supplier.

Dangerous outdoor chairs
We bought a teak table and 8 chairs from Royal Finesse. 4 chairs from the original delivery had to be returned immediately as they were badly damaged. Getting replacements was not easy and their delivery and collection service very unreliable - we had to make 2 special, wasted trips from London to Devon to accommodate their delivery and collection dates/time and then they did not even turn up on the agreed day!
Literally on the very first use, 2 chairs collapsed, injuring one of our friends. No one else would sit on them and we notified RF of our rejection of the product immediately. There was no apology for the injury caused to our friend but they did say that it had never happened before. That may have been true and we have been very unlucky but they ignored the fact that we had already returned 4 damaged chairs. We are struggling to believe the good on-line reviews that RF have apparently received given what has happened.
RF made it very difficult to return the product as they would only collect when convenient for them thereby delaying the processing of our refund. Their customer service is appalling and they clearly have little regard for their reputation.
Buy from them at your peril as their products are dangerous and definitely not fit for purpose - you have been forewarned.

Delivery of teak table
Just taken delivery of teak table. Excellent construction, and good value.
The driver, Adi, was excellent. He assembled the table for us and put it where we needed it. Very friendly and efficient.

Nice furniture that looks great. Slight issue with delivery but they sorted that out quickly and arranged a dedicated service - nice one!

A very good experience
We were very happy with the whole procedure. We were kept up to date with delivery times and the people were friendly and helpful. They were also happy to be paid on delivery, so we could view the item before paying.

Great experience from order to…
Great experience from order to delivery, very informative from the start we were surprised to receive our set within the week and we are over the moon with the quality. I would also like to say that the delivery driver was very helpful and set up the furniture for us and took the rubbish away! A well deserved 5 stars from us, highly recommended.
