A VERY BIG THANKYOU TO STEVE WILLIAMS FOR HIS EXCELLENT SERVICE AS HE FOUND ME A CAR WITH THE SPECIFICATION THAT I HAD WISHED FOR.
THERE WAS NOTHING AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME (JULY 2022) HAVING BEEN OUT ON A TEST RUN WHICH CONFIRMED WHAT I WANTED, BUT EVENTUALLY IN EARLY DECEMBER STEVE NOTIFIED ME THAT MY DREAM CAR WAS AVAILABLE.
WHEN SEEN THE CAR WAS IMMACULATE AND EVERYTHING THAT STEVE HAD PROMISED.
STEVE ACCOMPANIED ME ON A TEST RUN FOR ME TO FAMILIARISE MYSELF WITH THE CONTROLS AND AFTER DRIVING HOME HE RANG TO CHECK THAT I HAD ARRIVED HOME SAFELY.
STEVE HAS EVEN OFFERED TO ACCOMPANY ME TO FAMILIARISE MYSELF WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL AND ANYTHING ELSE I MAY BE UNSURE OF AT A LATER DATE.

A big thank to Mark Hicklin at Mansfield from the minute we walked in garage he delivered an amazing service. He was helpful and informative throughout the purchase in short it was a swift purchase. He took me and my husband for a long drive to test drive the car. On collection after 2 days, he picked me from the train station. The car looked brand new the valeting team did a good job. ln addition, the car had fuel l managed to get home which 70-80 miles away from Mansfield. Mark rang to check if l had arrived home safely. The whole team at Mansfield was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Mark for first the class service.

My sister visited ron brooks toyota ilkeston for test drive a 09 toyota aygo on 24th september 2022, she paid GBP500 deposit to buy it. The sales consultant did not provide her with the T&C and order forms after payment is made. At that time she didn't notice the deposit is refundable or not.

Two days later, my sister decided to buy another toyota approved car in wigan, therefore she requested a refund of deposit from ron brooks ilkeston. The sales consultant told my sister that the deposit was non-refundable. While i asked two toyota dealers (one in wigan and one in nottingham), both said that in this case the deposit shall be refunded. Therefore, i helped my sister to email and use their online chating to request a refund from 28 september 2022 onwards. More than a week the dealer/sales consultant did not give any responds to us.

This is a really bad shopping experience and already give much pressures to my sister as a consumer.

Therefore, i write this comment and wish the company can alert and provide some positive feedback.

It would be unfair to keep one star review after a meeting with Group Operations Director where he could address my objections and concerns. He showed understanding about issues I arise and willingness to put things right. Let's be honest, little things matter and sometimes they lead to bigger conclusions. I also had opportunity to see evidence that work have been carried out correctly which I didn't see before I put this review. Therefore it would be unfair if I will keep one star review here.

It is likely I will change this review to 5-stars when I visit them in September. So far my recommendation is to speak to people if you are unhappy with something and try to find solution.

I had my Toyota Auris on annual service according to my Service Plan. I bought a Toyota Auris in July 2021 and decided to go for a service plan in order to make this car roadworthy for a while. I visited them on the beginning of August 2022.

One of the benefits of using your service was a courtesy car which I'm thankful for because it's additional value for their services. Unfortunately this additional thing didn't make me happier when I noticed the quality of their service. I have a very strong impression that their staff haven't done anything to service my car. Person who filled out the form stated that inspected the cabin filter. If this happens then that person will notice that a filter should be replaced because it's dirty and full of dust. This filter was also inserted incorrectly before and it's now in V-shape.

Engine oil should be replaced and oil filter should be replaced too. I just had an opportunity to look into oil filters and the mechanic from different place, who I spoke to was confident that the filter wasn't replaced recently. There was an air filter inspected too which would be beneficial to replace but no one told me about this.

I know they only carried intermediate service where I have to pay extra for additional parts. It's very likely I will pay for these parts if they aren't in a contract but I will have to know about it first.

I had an impression that they only wanted to charge me for additional jobs. They wanted to service my air conditioning and replace braking pads. I considered that option but seeing their work so far I'm confident they should not touch any car at all.

How can I trust your staff and allow you to replace brake pads if they are unable to inspect a pollen filter? It's one of the simplest tasks to do around a car.

I think what they are doing is charging every customer for services and they doing nothing or very little. It's easy money because most of customers won't be able to check what they have done or what they deliberately neglect to do. Most people believe that car specialists such as a car maker, are doing a great job. They abused their position of trust and it's unlikely they will be able to gain the trust back.

I've got my lesson learnt. I should avoid to go to Toyota to buy my next car. I strongly suggest think twice before you go to buy any car or to service your current car with them.

Great service today from Jordan at Mansfield Ron Brooks! My number plate had fallen off....he suggested screwing it back on rather than sticking! Fixed in 5minutes! Thanks so much!

Spoke to Mike Asher yesterday and purchased car from him excellent customer service and highly rate him nothing was to much trouble very helpful

keep away from thei9r used cars! purchased from Ron Brookes Mansfield, problem started from day one, where the work promised to the car had not been done, so had a 50 mile round trip to take it back to be fixed. some months later, car broke down, failed clutch master cylinder, no problem i thought as the car was sold with a full 12 months warrantay, when i try to claim on it, it is not worth the paper it is written on, with loads of exclusuions. Ron Brookes have washed their hands of it. buyer beware!

On the 9th of July myself and my wife called into Ron Brooks Mansfield to look at a Toyota Aygo 1.0L xplay 58 plate, that she really liked. Now buying a car should be a happy exciting experience, as pain free as possible and the salesperson (in my opinion) should try and make this take the least amount of time possible. So when the salesperson first spoke to us, the plan was for someone else to check over our PX (fiat 500) whilst we took the Toyota a spin. This did not happen and after.........your fiat has stone chips and a tyre is close to legal limit, I was starting to get fed up!! The fiat is a 2014 plate!!!! Its bound to have stone chips!! I've bought s*** loads of cars and never has anyone been this picky or even close. After nearly 2hrs of being there we finally took the Toyota out and it was good and my wife liked it. We'd made it clear We'd been offered 4.300 for the fiat elsewhere even with the 2 issues it had, with 31000 mls on clock, we thought this was a fair price. Off the salesperson went to speak with the manager, We'd said that we'd got 20mins left before we had to go, (so 2 and a half hrs total visit) so 18 mins later the salesperson comes back with an A4 sheet of paper with the offer of 4.200 for our car. Now I know we talking 100 quid here, but are they taking the **** or what? On the sheet they had added over 1000 pounds in other costs, like paint protection and alloy wheel insurance, I think the wheel insurance was about 300 quid!! The car had NO ALLOY WHEELS!!!! How on earth can you do this to customers? It's gotta be a wind up?
Please don't write anything trying to deny this either because it was there in black and white!! I never clicked on about the alloy thing till after, but did tell the salesperson that in my opinion the add ons and paintwork protection is a rip off!! As I have seen garages applying this stuff and it's the same stuff as diamond brite you can buy yourself for about 50 quid. Some do a ceramic coating but this wasn't wat they were trying to get us to buy. The salesperson wanted to go back to the manager and 'try and get' The 100 quid for us! Too late now coz we were already fed up, so you've lost a sale for 100 quid, that if you'd have not been greedy we'd probably have bought it. The salesperson said to my wife, if I get you another 100 pounds, will you sign for it now? My wife said 'I'm not being pressured, I'll think about it now" the salesperson said 'I'm not pressuring you'.

We will never go back and its a shame that the car sales business still have the same historical issues they have had stigma for over the years, which does not in any way mean all garages are the same, but makes me nervous and anxious about buying a car, when it should never feel like that for the customer whose money you need.

I would like to say a big thank you to Rob Sanchez at Ron Brooks Mansfield for a superb service. The car is lovely to drive. I would recommend to buy a Suzuki Swace from Rob.

The service and friendliness of Craig Johnson at Ron Brooks was brilliant. He went above and beyond his responsibilities and continued to help us with after we had taken ownership of our beautiful new car. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't need and gave clear, up to date advice. Excellent service.

I brought my car from ron brooks ilkeston end march this year i was looked after by neil what a gentleman he was so polite friendly and professional nothing was too much trouble including bringing the car i was interested in from their mansfield branch over to ilkeston for me to test drive and straight away i knew it was the car for me the whole process was made so stress free and easy neil was there every step of the way explaining what will happen next even following up with 2 phonecalls over these 2 weeks to check that im ok and the car was ok and that i was happy with everything reassuring me if there was anything he could do that i could drop by and he will happily help made buying this car an amaizing pleasure as the experience should be but ive never had this treatment from any other garage before i felt like royalty thank you again neil your amaizing but not to forget the front of house staff too also very friendly polite the experience was so calm.

After 10 years and 145,000 miles, my old Avensis needed retiring. A quick www search and a number of replacement possibilities became apparent and I settled on a very nice looking Avensis at Ron Brooks in Mansfield, some 200 miles from where I live. I made contact with Brooks via email and was dealt with in a most efficient and friendly manner by Craig Johnson.
I drove up to Mansfield to get the Avensis I'd picked out and was greeted like a long lost friend by the staff (Amanda.....Thank you for the tea and biscuits) and Craig who dealt with all the finer details of the buying etc whilst chatting.
I can recommend Ron Brooks Toyota to anyone considering the purchase of a new or 2nd hand model, for their professionalism, attention to detail and the care they took with me, as a customer. Despite the journey to Brooks being considerable in time and distance, it was well worth it.

We have just got our CHR from Ron Brooks, Mansfield and would like to take this opportunity to say how well we were looked after from start to finish by Steve. He explained everything regarding to the car and paperwork nothing was too much trouble we felt well informed and it all went very smoothly, no hiccups. A very pleasant experience. I have just bought a 6 month old Toyota Yaris from Ron Brooks Mansfield. The entire process went smoothly and was totally stress free. Everything they said would be done was done, and done when they said it would be. The Sales Consultant (Simon L) was a credit not only to the business, but to the industry. The car was delivered from Mansfield to my home on the Wirral. The delivery driver (Andrew) was outstanding and wouldn't leave until he had explained everything about the car to me. His enthusiasm for the brand was infectious.

This was a great experience from start to finish. My only regret is that Ron Brooks haven't got a dealership on the Wirral!

I have just purchased a used toyota from Ron Brooks Mansfield. The whole process was handled in a professional but friendly manner. Good price for the vehicle I purchased and I was happy with the p/x valuation on my vehicle. Everything very well organised and efficient and a week in I am very happy with the vehicle. Recently I bought a used Toyota from Ron Brooks Mansfield . The staff were helpful and considerate which made the whole transaction easy and comfortable. I would like to thank Richard for his efforts in making this possible - as a result I would be happy to re visit the dealer in the future to help with any other needs & purchases.

My 2019 Suzuki Ignis developed corrosion on the steel wheels, which were protected by wheel trims. I mentioned this when I took it back due to wheel noise for the second time in a few weeks.
The service manger inspected the wheels while in the workshop all day and concluded incorrectly they were rusting due to kerb damage. This was untrue. There was no kerb damage, only rust spots on the wheel trim protected wheel area.
I sent photos when I got home, which they then used to start a successful warranty claim with Suzuki.
They didn’t tell me they were doing this, I waited 5 days to chase them up. I left them a negative review on Facebook which they soon responded to via Facebook messenger saying it was very damaging and to give them a chance to investigate. 10 days later after starting their investigation they still haven’t got back to me despite me chasing.
The front wheels still are making a whining noise despite 2 days in the service department.

Bought a second hand fiat 500 and Rich could not have been more helpful. Communication was excellent at all times and collection went very smoothly. They ensured the car was perfect for the handover. Would recommend highly.

Bought a used Lexus from Richard Hales at Ron Brooks Toyota Mansfield. Communication was excellent all the way through and Richard was happy answering lots of questions prior to purchase and the handover process was straightforward and swift.
