After multiple brokers telling me it cannot be done; many of them just trying to get away from the phone call ASAP; I found Iain, who not only went above and beyond to get me a mortgage, but he fought alongside me through all the hurdles encountered through the process without once being annoyed, frustrated or trying to get away from the situation. Iain was great from the start. Prompt reply to my initial enquiry, informative follow-up meeting after which we provided some documentation, and although my wife and I have only been resident in the UK for less than 2 years on a work visa (14 months), Iain helped get us get a Decision In Principle after a few days, and an approved mortgage not long after. Knowledgeable, professional, and did all the heavy lifting for us.
