If it feels like a bit of a scam, it probably is a scam. Disingenuous promotions, terrible customer service, near on impossible to cancel services on their site., I personally found this site a waste of time. Avoid.

... well all I can say is... all of these so called MUSIC SITES should pay us for our Music,(( as it was in the old days of MusicBusiness...)) but we let them fool ourselves because you long for FAme, but let me tell you.... if you give money to these folk or frutless music web sites: you deserve to be fooled... 'cus this means you're so Naive... got it...cold fact. no offence meant to anybody. peace y'all. Sleeyo.

Their player doesn't even work properly, therefore losing you plays - AVOID!

Terrible site with a music player that always gets stuck, therefore costing me plays. The customer service suggested everything I CAN DO to fix this ( none of which worked )
It would seem to me that they cannot even get a player that actually plays. I am in the process of moving to Soundcloud, Soundclick and Bandcamp because in my opinion Reverbnation have become the worst site to host your music out there.

I have been a customer of ReverbNation since 2010 but recently cancelled my subscription and moved my distribution to TuneCore.
Their customer service is very bad - due to an error at their end they had temporarily cancelled my subscription and removed all my music from streaming services within 24 hours, without even the willingness to rectify the issue.
Only after I told them that I would move over to a different distributor after a few weeks they tried to resolve it, but it was a massive disappointment.
I am now at TuneCore and happier than ever with a great service and a reasonable price.
ReverbNation is massively overpriced and definitely not worth a single cent due to their bad customer service. I would recommend to stay away from them.

No different than a fake slots game. You give money and numbers just change. No value whatsoever. This website is a scam.

This company rules I love it.

People have been going onto my music page, stealing my songs right off of it and reposting using different song titles. They've been posting my music on pages without my knowledge as well. I have emailed reverbnation support, but they are unresponsive and direct you to one of their articles on how to upload songs. There is a song I wrote 22 years ago and uploaded it from a digital multitracker onto my reverbnation page. I recently discovered someone went in and took that song off, and replaced it with the song that is immediately after it. When you go into the song you can still see the lyrics from the correct song that used to be there. I haven't touched my music page in over a year and have not removed or changed any songs so I have no idea how this could have happened. It appears one of my better songs is gone forever. It will be tedious for me to locate my old CDs and re-upload this song (I'd I can find it). It might be gone forever. This is a huge disappointment. I fracking hate Reverbnation now. Thanks a lot. The platform sucks and has done nothing for me except cause problems.

Scam they stole $20.00 from me.

I was approached by friendly job opportunity hunter, to do a mindless job for first week you accoumulated USDC credits, at about 50.00 a day, with reward of 1000.00 salary after week, with no risk you put money in to feed the pot, daily with drawing back so you confident its (OK) then you get computor BONUS which you have to cover, then your accumulations salary time comes to with draw, glitchs happen, so you need more money IN at urgings of C service, and your coach believing this still legit, you get deeper with help from Coach to make believable. when you get 5 time for in than salary and comissions withdrawl becomes impossible to get salary and your MONEY out , recruter / Customer support collude your scammed lose 5 x commission/salary if you stop there. Dumber you are more you lose

Im sorry but this site is a complete scam. They always tell you that you have been selected for promotions but it's all to get money from you and the promotions are useless. The crowd review service is also fake. I sent in a classical instrumental and someone said they didn't like the lyrics. Never use this site it's a complete scam and stay away!

My exact rating would be 3.5. Look, reverbnation, your likely to never get a real gig opportunity on there but the big plus is their free account. I had an account there for over 10 years. It is a nice interface that let's you make a artist profile and very nicely organize your music. Not many sites will let you do this for free. In summary, great interface but lack of real opportunities for paid subscribers.

Absolutely a scam!!!! STAY AWAY or be prepared to lose money. They don’t care about artists or music, it’s just a money grabbing SCAM.

Scammers hand in hand with N1M, and utter garbage. The number of people getting their stuff stolen is unspeakable.

We have been with them for many years, wasting $thousands in subscription fees. Had lots of social media sync problems over the last year, (if you can't sync social media then this is pointless), they use to answer support emails but no longer do. They DO NOT Care about their customers at all, ZERO support. The whole platform is just set up to cash in on artists ego, it does you no good at all. Cancelling our subscription & leaving the platform after 8 years. Enough is Enough.
