What I liked about the experience

- Hard working and friendly removal team

What I disliked about the experience

- Unloading felt very rushed
- Charged an additional £1400 due to 20 minute late delivery of keys at property (in line with their T&Cs)
- Damaged items (Nothing sentimental/expensive, so was fine with that)
- 1 item lost, but discovered after the 7 day period so did not raise directly (In line with T&Cs)
- 1 removal member smelt of alcohol during unloading, (Not during loading earlier in the day)
- Part of the process is to sign that goods had been loaded/unloaded, I was only presented with a simple signature page on both occasions, I could not see any related information to what I was signing for.
- Lorry inspection at completion of unloading, was unable to see one of the lorries internal contents as the internal light was broken - Hard to check if any items remained (It was October and dark). We also had three vehicles of which only two had been presented for completion of unloading checks.

All in all, I think you will have a good moving experience but please be aware of these negative points to ensure you avoid this during what is a very important and stressful day in your life.

From the sales presentation to the delivery of the final item the service was excellent.
Everyone I interacted with was professional and very friendly.
Nothing was "too much trouble" and every care was taken with all the items.

Great experience from start to finish. Great personal service for quote. Great helpful crew who were beyond kind. Even unloaded a chair that was already loaded as they noticed I needed to sit and had nowhere. Efficient careful and professional. Great price too

I haven't previously used a removal company, so this was my first experience. After obtaining quotes from about 5 companies I chose relocate removals for a house move. Guy, who came to price up the move was very friendly and welcoming which made us feel comfortable with this company from the offset. Some companies do video calls, but relocate removals send someone in person, which is better so they can see for their own eyes what needs to be moved, resources required and no quibbling later on. They were very competitive against the rest of the market and good value for what we were asking them to move/do. Other company's wouldn't do thr same such as unplumbing the washing machine or reassembling furniture.

We had a bit of a stressful time with exchange and gave less than 48 hours notice from booking to the actual move date, although I regularly spoke to Georgia and Becky on the phone who were very friendly, helpful and understanding.

Guy delivered a good number of boxes a week before which we paid upfront but was deducted off the quote price so we could start packing. No other company includes boxes within the quote, it is usually an additional cost.

They arrived promptly just before 9am on the day of the move. The house was cleared out within 3 hours. They had one large HGV and 4 men. They were all polite and friendly. It was good to see they had banter between themselves and just got on with the job.

Upon arrival at the new house, the lorry was unloaded within 3 hours as well. Furniture was reassembled.

Only a couple of minor gripes:
I paid an additional £40 for the carpet to be wrapped in plastic so it didnt get dirty from the muddy boots. I think this could be quoted up front.
A bit if rubbish was left behind by the men on the drive, including a cardboard roll for the plastic carpet wrap and drink bottles which I cleared up.

Overall a very good experience and glad I chose this company.

We moved on the 10th September. Had the full packing service. Excellent value for money compared to the other quotes we received. The moving day went very smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for the guys that moved us . They made a difficult day go very well. Would highly recommended Relocate Removals.

The service was 1st class from start to finish, all the staff were friendly and helpful. They made a stressful move go incredibly smoothly on moving day.

Very friendly team from office, accessor (Guy) and removals. Excellent service. Guy was friendly, professional funny and reassuring. Went out his way to help with a difficult situation and got the best solution along with Bill. Great removals teams (over 3 days). In particular Grant, Jason and Luke. All teams were friendly, hardworking and nothing was too much trouble even during a heatwave. Would highly recommend.

I would not recommend using this company for removals. My wedding ring, engagement ring and watch disappeared during the move and we believe they were stolen. Please note other reviews on Google and Trustpilot which suggest this was not an isolated incident.

We used Relocate for our house move at the end of March 2025.
The initial visit to determine the price of the service was thorough and the quote we received seemed reasonable compared to some of the other very expensive figures we're received.
They also provided a good quantity of boxes to help with the removals which was just as well as we had 25 years of accumulated items to move.
The actual move took 2 days to complete, and we were happy overall. A hanging ceiling light was broken as large furniture was brought downstairs but other than that there was no other damage as far as we are aware. We can't be certain about that as we needed to move a lot of our items into a storage facility and those items have barely been seen since.
Many of the boxes labelled "Fragile" were found to be stored under other heavier non-fragile boxes so that was somewhat annoying but otherwise the move went without hitch.
Would we recommend them? Probably, they were competitively priced, and the job was completed in good time. Perhaps they could've been a little more careful in their stacking but other than that they were pretty good.

I found that this section of there services was 109% of excellent quality and good value for money great office staff of who was very understanding and patient at the time when stress is high as we all know moving is crap but they took all that away. I would strongly recommend anyone who needs this service to use relocate great company and great staff 👍

I wouldn't recommend this company. I had to file a police report for theft and the owner of the company wasn't interested in challenging the removal men who came into my house on the day.

Although the guys were friendly and polite, it would seem they cannot read the word "fragile". We had a lot of damage, from chips in wooden furniture to broken glass. Fragile boxes stacked under heavy boxes when unloading. It was all very rushed, we were expecting a two day service, but they were determined to do the 300 miles in one day. I am extremely disappointed and very sad that I cannot recommend them. Even though I gave feedback (good and not so good) I did not hear from them again about the damage or distress caused.

I would NEVER recommend this company. Although the removal staff were friendly our house contents were badly packed /stored and many items arrived damaged dirty and misshapen. Our main issue was our smashed TV. After contacting Relocate to replace the TV we were told we had to go through their insurance company. We were offered £99.00 to replace our 55"TV as we had to pay an excess of £250. We then asked Relocate to reimburse us the £250 excess as the damage was not our fault. We were told to look at their T and Cs as they were not liable. In total we spent over £5000. 00 for removal and storage. My advice is think before you use this company. They may be cheaper but sometimes it's worth paying more for a better service that this company is unable to provide.

Absolutely fantastic. The team were all very professional and very quick. Had no problems whatsoever. The price was easily the most competitive. Very impressed with the whole service from start to finish. No need to waste time shopping around. These people will not let you down. Bill and his entire team were brilliant.

A stress free move.
The team were brilliant pre move agreeing times an dates was easy . The guys turned up early on the day and cleared my 3 bed house within and hour and a half with care and attention and then a further 30 mins for the garage and the shed. They then delivered everything to a storage facility in Norfolk and we all packed up in just over an hour so impressed with their speed and care
