Red Funnel Ferries Omdömen 

WARNING: Having booked ferry tickets this week, I had to cancel, with a cancellation fee of £10. Seemed reasonable so I cancelled.
I then received an email update to say Red Funnel Ferries were charging me £125.00, to cancel, £115.00 above the £10. No explanation, but a threat, saying if I did not agree now, they would charge me more.

The staff are quick to assist you when in need of help. The cleaning lady was very polite and had taken over to clean the spilt coffee on the floor. The experience was very good and i wouldn't hesitate to book with Red Funnel again.

Excellent service both over phone and on board ferry. Food and drinks average prices but very good quality. Facilities excellent, far cry from my last experience back in 1985! Only one thing, range of gifts was a bit lacking, especially for under 8’s. I was looking for a bath or pond plastic ferry boat for grandchildren to play with 🥺Otherwise brilliant.

We we're running late because of traffic,I rang and there was no problem changing our travel time. I had assisted access and our journey to and from isle of wight was perfect. Much better and a lot cheaper than the other ferry company.

Great service, we got stuck in traffic and missed our sailing time, but they got us straight onto the next one, no fuss, no muss!

Flexibility to rearrange return visit, after my illness (necessitating a 2 day delay on return trip). Handled very well by the young lady that changed our booking.

We arrived early and were able to board early, which was a great benefit. Boarding was quick and easy, and the onboard staff were very pleasant.

It’s a poor service. Lifts don’t work, so upper deck was inaccessible for someone with hip problems. There is always a lift issue when I travel (twice a year).

The cars are parked too close for a dog to get in the boot. Had to lift my large dog, not easy with a hip problems.

The lounges are cramped and needing modernisation. The whole experience is one to get over quickly. Unpleasant.
