the layout of the furniture didn't seem to have any order to it. i was looking for a specific type of sofa and had to walk the entire store to see each one. I also think the prices were too high for fabric, non-electric, non sleeper sofas. i walked out liking something but it cost too much, even after the 15% discount i was offered.

JP was very cordial and professional. It was a pleasure doing business with him!

Ms. Terry Morris at the Fairfield in New Jersey store was very helpful in our purchase. She helped us through the financial process. Made the experience smooth and reassuring.

There are an enormous selection of everything you might want/need in your home. Everything is beautifully laid out making it easy to walk through the sections. In addition, the furnishings are of obviously high quality at reasonable prices. The accent pieces on the showroom floor are also very beautiful and idea generating as far as decorating is concerned. The sales rep was extremely helpful when we needed him, and left us to wander around on our own – no pressure. It was a great experience and we made some beautiful purchases. I will be going back.

The salesman Ed was very professional and made sure I found everything I was looking for. He didn't try to over sell me( totally appreciated). I look forward to my future purchases with Raymour & Flanigan.

John made the process of buying our furniture for our new house smooth. He was so very patient with me through it all.

The guys were very nice and took great care to make sure that my furniture was placed where I wanted it. They inspected it, took pictures and left within 10 minutes!

I've ordered many products from R&F over the years (sofas, chairs, bed frames, mattresses, carpets, etc.), and I have always been very satisfied with the service and the quality of the products I've received.

Recently, however, I had a very unsatisfactory experience with ordering two bedroom sets for my kids. I placed the order in early October and was not told when the sets would be delivered until I asked a customer service rep (whom I was happened to be speaking to in connection with another R&F delivery). She said that R&F was expecting to have the sets in on December 4. December 4 came and went. No bedroom sets and no update on timing from R&F. On December 9 and 10, I tried calling R&F's customer service number to speak to someone, but was routed by R&F's automated phone system to a regional office that neither answered the phone nor returned my messages. I called the customer service number again on December 11, dialed the option for a new order, and finally got through to a real person--but was told that the bedroom sets would not be delivered before FEBRUARY, four months after I placed the order. I was polite to this person, but was clearly very frustrated. He said he would escalate my issue and have someone reach out to me--and once again, NO ONE FOLLOWED UP.

This is not the customer service that I remember from previous experiences with R&F, or the customer service I expect when I pay a premium for R&F compared to, say, Wayfair. I understand that COVID has scrambled supply chains and expectations, and the delays themselves are forgivable, if frustrating (especially since my kids continue to live in mostly unfurnished rooms in our new house). But the complete absence of communication or outreach about a four-month delay on a $5,000-plus order placed by a loyal customer is much harder to understand or be gracious about.

NOTE: ALTHOUGH R&F LEFT A RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW SAYING THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT ME IF I EMAILED THEIR CARE TEAM WITH MY ORDER NUMBER AT AN EMAIL ADDRESS THEY PROVIDED, THEY STILL HAVE NOT RESPONDED IN ANY WAY TO THE THREE OR FOUR EMAILS I SENT BEGINNING ON DEC. 21, 2020 (WHEREIN I PROVIDED THE REQUESTED INFORMATION).

I bought a bedroom set and made more faith a month they told us that it would be for August 20, well last week they just called us to tell us that we could pick it up that was already in the store and to top it off the parts were broken and we are still here waiting also the customer service by phone is very bad and lack of professionalism
