Quinovic Property Management Omdömen 

We found out maintenance necessary for our house insurance was not being carried out such as chimney sweeping, and our property manager lied to our faces about this. We also found out our tenants had requested new smoke alarms and been refused, and felt bullied by Quinovic over petty things like fallen leaves even though they were looking after our house and had never missed a rent payment.
It seemed like Quinovic had a double standard of unreasonable and petty expectations of the tenants but were not holding up their obligations to either us as owners or the family renting from us.

Also found out the branch we were dealing with regularly changes the name they trade under. We suspect to hide their history of being taken to the tenancy tribunal.

Did a bit of Googling and found a lot of worrying stuff online. Seem they are taken to the tribunal more than any other property management company and have a history of refusing smoke alarms, bullying tenants, and returning properties in poor condition. Needless to say we are no longer with them.

Definitely do your research on Google. There is a reason why they're cheaper than other property management companies. I heard they even write their own positive reviews to try to mitigate all the bad press they've gotten.

This guys are professional scammers, the advertising is misleading, the units they offer are filthy and the service is a joke.

Unfortunately after moving into our property and dealing with Quinovic for a few months, my household and I feel we need to review to give potential tenants a realistic gauge. We moved in days after our agreed date to a significantly dirty house, entirely uncleaned after the previous tenants despite the property being vacant more than a month. We were informed of this 2 hours before we were due to collect our keys - the delay was due to no cleaning and a bathroom in unusable disrepair. It has been a fight for communication and responses, and a number of needed remedies have been unacknowledged or minimised. We were waiting for over 3 months for reimbursement of rent for the days we were delayed moving in so they could clean, which culminated in a cleaned oven and a wiped down bench. Visible debris (bugs, food, leaves, flaked rust) remained throughout the home, to the point we had to clean the entire house ourselves before setting anything down. After leaving our last rental immaculately clean, having a full 2-storey house to scrub was devestating. We have been communicative, understanding and patient to our limit, but have been disappointed. We are now surprised whenever we do have a response to communication we send, as it is so infrequent and usually hard won. We can no longer stand by our earlier google review, which they asked us numerous times to post in the month leading up to our scheduled move-in date.
I do not negatively review lightly and it pains me to do so given my generally empathetic nature. This is reflected in the 2-star rating as opposed to a 1-star, as we are grateful to have a house to live in given the competitive rental market. To this, I cannot say whether our experience has been due to our property manager specifically or speaks to the branch/company in general. I would be willing to update this review should Quinovic turn their property management around and our future experiences differ. In the meantime, I would recommend to prospective tenants that they ensure all communication is in writing and that photographs of the entire property are taken immediately on moving in. Be prompt in raising any issues to help minimise delays in response and to hopefully prevent problems escalating while waiting for resolution.
I would recommend to Quinovic that they review how they prepare a property for new tenants (I think 'as you would expect done for you' is reasonable), as well as set and adhere to prompt timelines in regards to both communication and resolution of property maintenance and issues.

Avoid this letting agency at all costs. The biggest bullies and scammers around.

I am using Quinovic mount Eden and have had good dealings with the management and the agent so far . Very friendly and professional. Advertising interviewing and Paperwork was all done to a high standard. I am very happy to have Quinovic take on my property and let me get on with my life .

They don't care about you as a tenant it's all about $$$, our property manager ignores everything we say needs to be done in the property, to the point it's making us all sick constantly but it quick to comment on something that she deems to be wrong, some dust or something out of place. Tried to leave, gave our 2 weeks notice as per our contract and they come back bullying us into 28days as per the new law last Yr they failed to tell us about, can't wait to get away.

Your New Plymouth branch is breaching tenancy law on a daily basis , they use bullying tactics to get tenants to agree behave and pay for things that are not the tenants responsibility .I recently spent 8 weeks with no stove only to have my property manager brag about how D and L appliance ltd had to pay for the replacement glass27

LANDLORDS BEWARE! I've used Quinovic for the past 2 years after they bought out my previous property manager. I asked them to sort a repair through a company they recommended. However the invoice was excessive (around $2k overcharged) and I was never given a quote to approve, which I should have been. I decided to leave and they offered me $500 only if I stayed with them. If I leave, no compensation and they want 3 months noticed as agreed under the contract with the previous property manger. The directors want me to abide by a contract I never signed with them but didn't abide by themselves. Too one-sided for me. I'm OUT!!!

These guys are total cowboys.

They will leave your property to fall into disrepair, hit you with unexpected charges. Not do due diligence at the end of tenancies.

I found my property, that is no more than 7 years old crawling with insects, walls, carpets, shower, plug sockets all in major disrepair.

Several charges that were made without consultation, and guess what? the property manger, be it Tangi or Rebecca, simply did not care.

Useless. The only thing that saves them, is the fact that NZ is like the Wild West. They would not get away with this anywhere else.

They breached my privacy rights and tried to charge me for services that should be paid for by the landlord. They ignored my emails when it suited them, and generally took advantage of the power imbalance inherent in the relationship.
