Update:: Got Scammed
Update::: After assistance from customer service, we returned to the shopping centre, where we ended up receiving a refund. It is strange that we were initially told this was not possible, but we are glad that the issue was ultimately resolved.
Original::: Very disappointing and misleading experience at a pop-up store in Westfield White City.
My sister, my cousin, and I visited the pop-up on April 1st, 2026, where we were approached multiple times by staff. A male employee clearly told us that there was a “buy one, get one free” offer. I even repeated the offer back to him in disbelief, and he confirmed it.
Later, before purchasing, I asked the manager about the “2-for-1 deal,” and she explained that it was a special Easter promotion. Based on this, we decided to buy the products.
However, when my sister paid, the card terminal was turned so she couldn’t see the amount. We later discovered that we had been charged £220 in total—meaning we paid full price for both items, not a “buy one, get one free” deal as promised.
When we went back to question this, the employee denied everything and told us we couldn’t return the items there, as it was a pop-up, and that we needed to contact the company directly.
We feel completely misled and taken advantage of. Three of us heard the same offer multiple times, so this was not a misunderstanding. We came to London from Denmark to enjoy our trip, but instead left with a very unpleasant experience and products we feel we were pressured and misled into buying.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company.

I purchased 2 pairs of hair straighteners from the Trafford centre for me and my aunty. We are both not impressed with hair straighteners they don’t not heat up or style our hair. Contacted customer service to be advised to return to Manchester however this is a 150 mile round trip . I was then informed I could return for a fee of £19.99 it’s an absolute joke. Still waiting for a response. I would recommend not to purchase

We visited in Westfield London 2 years ago (from Finland). My daughter bought straightener and was very satisfied to it. She has naturally curly hair, but this straightener kept it straight all day long. However I got broken after two years. I remembered it had life long warranty. I contacted PYT and returned the broken device and got new as return. Despite all the extra things with the customs (we live in EU), I got excellent service from PYT.

I visited the Westfield Mall yesterday…
I visited the Westfield Mall yesterday and happened to pass by the PYT Straigtners stall when staff Thalisa was promoting one of the PYT straightener. She was very professional, friendly and kind and demonstrated how when using the straighteners would produce curls and straighten the hair too. She demonstrated the styles on me and my Cousin too and I found her to be dedicated to her job, her company and also customers. The straightness too made an effect on the hair. Thus I would recommend customers to definitely try the straighteners on their hair to see the difference and buy their products if they need to. Also the staff demonstrated that the straighteners have additional plug arrangements that can be used if two pin or three pin sockets are present nationally and internationally. Thank you Thalisa for the wonderful Customer Service experience.

My wife had a great experience at the store with Yalda who explained and demonstrated the straightener product very well. She was pleasant, friendly and very professional in the Stratford Westfield store. I would highly recommend the service and product - we need more sales agents like this these days. I’m very happy with the product and Jessie was super helpful and she explained it to us in a very detailed way and she’s so so sweet and the product is so good that it doesn’t burn your hair at all. So I’d 100% recommend it and I’ll definitely buy the rest of the products as well🤍
Refund policy
I was passing by the retailer in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush after my interview. A very nice girl (sorry about forgetting your name) called me over and had me influenced. She showed me everything; benefits of it and even let me try it out myself following her instructions as I told her my curls never hold shape even for 5 minutes. Thank you for you excellent customer service (5/5).
However, upon my return home I got to know that my sister had bought exactly the same (different colour) titanium straightener a few weeks ago and never used it since she has another one so she gave it to me. Naturally, I thought of returning and contacted the team same day. Today, however, I have been told that they do not accept returns (even after telling them that it is not opened or used at all) - I was not informed of this in purchasing. Instead, they can only exchange (which I do not need in all honesty). I have replied back today with arguments, however reading the previous experiences of people here I am not too hopeful - in that case would be contacting my bank. The policy needs to be clear enough, as it is still within 14 days, unused so legally it is the customer’s right to request for a refund.
360 turn around from negative experience
Denisa from start to finished showed me what a real sales person looks and is to embody for a frontline worker of an unheard of brand . Her sales approach and tone in even a slight delay of payment process was effective and respectful to the customer needs and wants from the taster service. Informative and personable is what I am to have to say not only thanks but what a wonderful staff member to recruit in having Denisa.
jessy and fiona were busy and still attentive to each customer in this day i have stumbled to test the brand “PYT” product - i have changed my opinion by a 360 from one negative experience some weeks back .
Thank you girls , a day was brightened and a bond to deepen later with not only my own needs of the product but for my partners approval and satisfaction.

Make sure the item suits your needs before purchasing.
I was advised in store that the item could be returned or exchanged if needed, which influenced my decision to purchase.
Unfortunately, the product did not work for me and the styling result did not last for several hours despite correct use.
While the issue was eventually resolved, the return process felt more restrictive and long process .I would recommend to be sure before you purchase the product.

I have been a customer of PYT since 2019 that’s the first time my fiancée gifted me my first infrared straightener and I fell in love with it. I had damaged hair after colouring so much and straightener was the solution as it gives fizzy free hair with shiny bouncy curles their manager Jessie is the best and is super cool and friendly. I lost my first infrared straightener as my dog damaged the wire however after 7 years my husband bought me again the same for me honestly I can’t live without it you only need 5 minutes to curle or iron your hair it glides effortlessly. I can’t be thankful enough for PYT for saving my time and giving me lovely hair. Thank you for Jessie and her staff.
