Easy booking process
Easy booking process, also a good price. The only criticism is that once booked there's no facility to change it online, as I had to, due to unforeseen circumstances. That being said the receptionist, Molly I think it was, was very helpful.

I took my 22-plate car, which has only 26,000 miles on the clock, in for a service. I received a phone call telling me that around £1,200 worth of work was urgently needed, including tyres and brake pads. When I asked what needed prioritising, I was told everything.
I wasn’t expecting the additional work, so I asked if I could call back after working a few things out. About an hour later, I called and asked them to carry out the service only, with no extras, and to write down the recommended work so I could book it in at a later date once I’d rearranged my schedule.
I was then told the items were only advisories and that the car was still drivable. This was completely different from the impression I’d been given during the first call, when everything was presented as urgent.
I was also quoted £147 for TPMS work that a Ford garage quoted £90 for the same job. My car passed its MOT in May with no advisories. I understand that things can change after an MOT, but the conflicting advice and pricing have left me questioning whether customers are being pressured into paying for work sooner than necessary to increase profits.
Based on my experience, I’d recommend getting an itemised quote and a second opinion before agreeing to any additional work.

Mot not correct
I booked an mot. 1st appointment got cancelled as engineer couldn't get there. 2nd appointment had to wait for her to arrive. Mot done and listed a few advisory points.
1. 1 Wiper blade may need replacing soon ( fair enough they wear, although its cleaning the screen ok with no streaks!!)
2. Said front tyres showing minor signs of cracking. - these tyres were bought from there 12 months ago, lots of tread left, over 5mm, premium tyres, £500 for 2. only 5k miles since. Inspected tyres myself and nothing there at all!!
The car had a VW service a month previously and tyres were inspected as good within more than adequate tread.
Yes it was only advisory but I totally object to this being put on the mot as its not true. They either need glasses or they were just putting on for the sake of it.
And indeed if the tyres were cracked after 5k mileage and 12 months, protyre need to replace as selling sub standard tyres.

Excellent service after I had the misfortune to have major tyre damage. Managed to get car home and telephoned to enquire if a new tyre could be fitted at my home. This was carried very promptly by two very pleasant mechanics (Mo and Darren) at a very good price. I would definitely recommend this company and have always used them for my MOT, service etc.

Tyres renewal and tracking
I booked an appointent for two tyres to be fitted and a tracking check at winsford Protyre depot,i got in in a couple of days (only because they had to get me two tyres) and my appointment was on time carried out while i waited. Avoid at all costs
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
I took my Range Rover to this establishment with a general ‘puncture repair’ and because I seemed to know nothing generally about cars they tried to take advantage of me and say the puncture was not repairable I will need a new tyre and also the opposite tyre needed replacing too!
Now I know this wasn’t the case before taking it and I knew it was just a puncture repair!
Not only that but astonishingly the original price quoted was £400+ to do the work however ‘luckily’ for me they could get the price down to £275 if I booked it in there and then.
I have since had the repair done with another company which confirmed the puncture was easily accessible and repaired without any issues for a total of £25
