I’m giving 5* for my recent visit to Protyre, Chapeltown, Sheffield. I needed advice and help to check a tyre at short notice. I phoned the garage and I was able to visit straight away. The person who checked my tyre recognised it was a problem with the rim, not the tyre. They were able to rectify the problem and give advice if it happened again.
I appreciated the advice and service. I would use this garage again.
I must mention that I usually use another Protyre Sheffield location and they have been helpful too.

The tyre had kept losing air for a…
The tyre had kept losing air for a while but I was not in Sheffield so just kept inflating till I got the chance to go back. Only fitted in June. Explained everything and repair done very efficiently. Was surprised when charged £25 as the tyre wasn't sealed fully to the rim. Asked if that should have been noticed when first fitted, just told it was a common problem with alloys. I have used this tyre shop for 45 years through various owners including Jack who it is named after. Will still keep going there. Would have been useful to have been told the cost before job done as I thought there would have been some warranty.

Great service
Great service. Mandy was great at advising me on which tyres to get for my car, and was very friendly. She managed to get the tyres in for the next day, and got me in to have them fixed the following morning.

The service as always was great
The service as always was great. I was seen straight away and sorted my problem. The reason for only 3 stars was because I felt £90.00 for replacing a valve on one tyre was expensive. Especially considering a new tyre would not be that much more.

I had a nail in my tyre which the tyre operator (female) sorry didn't get name. Straight away obliged in removing it and repairing it. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 *

Hi,I popped in monday afternoon and Mandy said my 2 new tyres would be ready for fitting at 9 a.m as her first customer was in at 8:30 a.m.However,she phoned me at 8:45 a.m to tell me she could fit the tyres earlier as I told her I was going on holiday that morning,and thats what I call good customer relations.On a final note Mandy is a credit to your company and in my opinion an absolute superstar with people.Thanks for a great service.Kenny Bennett

Excellent efficient service that saved the weekend.
Brilliant service from Mandy and the team. Telephoned just before closing with a major problem (for us). A damaged tyre in the face of a long weekend away, a less common tyre size and the prospect of a heavily disrupted start to the trip. Mandy ran through the options and booked us in for the first appointment the following day. The tyre delivery was coming off the van when we arrived. Other tyres on the car were checked and safety advice given. A good tyre moved from back to front, two tyres fitted. The work was carried out quickly by the team By 9.20 AM we were back on the road and there was no impact to the weekend plans. To top it all off the prices was good too! Excellent efficient service, I recommend to anyone.
