Protyre Autocare - Segensworth Omdömen 

Having paid for and booked my slot for 10.30 to have my new front tyres replaced, and being warned not to be late, I arrived just under ten minutes early for the job to be done. First sense of trouble was the question of whether I was leaving or staying. Since the garage is in a remote part of the industrial estate there was little else but to do than wait. And I did. For nearly an hour and a half to replace two tyres, despite me booking a slot. This is a job that should have been thirty minutes at best. Never once in that time was I kept informed of any progress, I wasn’t the only one. Great price on the tyres offset by mediocre service may make me consider alternatives next time.

I first visited when a low tyre pressure sensor activated they kindly checked all the tyres and although no obvious signs of a puncture they assured me that the cold weather can effect pressure and to return if the warning reactivated. Around 20 miles later it did I returned and they quickly found a minute puncture in the tyre wall with an MOT booked for January and the other front likely to be an advisory by then I got an excellent deal on a pair of Pirelli’s an early Christmas present for the car !.

They were brilliant. Recommended someone to recover my vehicle to their premises. Got the parts the next day and had my car back on the road, even though it was Christmas eve. And kept up to date at every step of the way. Once again brilliant.

My mileage fluctuates wildly from year to year but Protyre's record of when each item was last changed gives confidence that everything is up to date, without changing parts unnecessarily. This visit was for a regular service - previously they have fixed urgent problems with little notice.

Protyre Segensworth is amazing! A while back we took our car there for its MOT and we were very satisfied. So when be broke down recently, we decided to go there again. That was the best decision we could have made. Since we broke down on a Saturday evening, we could only drop the keys of Monday morning and had the car back fully repaired and running on Monday evening. The team were great, costs were communicated well and the price was more than fair. They are also very great with old cars (ours is almost and oldtimer). We are very happy to have found Protyre and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This was my first time with Protyre and I was very happy with the experience. I bought a couple of Dunlop tyres for my Lexus RX and they moved tyres round to ensure I had the new ones on the front. Nothing seems to much of an issue I would highly recommend the Segensworth team and I will certainly be using them again for tyres. Thanks to the team for a great service.

It was easy to book an appointment, there was a good range of tyres available and the tyres I needed were a very good price. The staff were very polite and helpful and the work was completed very quickly. I would definiately recommend.
