There in my moment of need! Quickly replaced my tyre when I had a flat on nearby M6. Very helpful and friendly. Open on a Saturday when several other nearby garages were shut!

Shocked at the deceit involved by this garage since new staff and management recently. Took my car to have suspension checked as had previously made a strange noise but now drove perfectly fine and nothing heard since but about to do long drive and thought best to check.
Shocked to get a call to say I needed all 4 springs and shock absorbers replacing and the car was not safe to drive and I should leave with them until fixed. They quoted me over £1K but offered a payment plan.
I was shocked my 2015 car with only 50K miles on the clock and drove perfectly needed this amount of work so got a 2nd opinion. Turns out only 1 spring was broken and shock absorbers were fine. Paid under £300 for the work needed elsewhere.
I could not believe that Protyre were trying to rip me off for a lot of work not needed (possibly because I’m female) and also caused me a great deal of anxiety and stress telling me my car wasn’t safe to drive! Avoid Protyre Middlewich, it seems they cannot be trusted.

Not the garages fault but delivery van broke down with my tyres on so had to rebook visit for another day. Offered free wheel alignment because of delay bit don't think it was done. Just waiting for a quote o rear discs and pads now

Recently ordered x2 tyres on line after ringing up to check a query on behalf of my wife. Booked a slot a week in advance. Wife arrived at the allocated time but only 1x tyre had arrived - no understanding why there was only 1x tyre and no one attempted to cancel the appointment and save the journey to the tyre centre. The wife was told someone would follow up and call back but no one did. The wife followed up and agreed a second slot. It got sorted but shouldn't take two attempts to sort. I don't see the point of booking in advance, if when you get there the parts are not available. I understand that things can go wrong but then that's where the communication comes in and at least a wasted journey could have been avoided - having planned the day specifically around the original appointment.

Update 11/07/25 - just received an 'e invoice and inspection report' via email - problem is this isn't my car - its for someone else with their name and home address and my email and mobile phone number. A clear GDPR breach. This vehicle used to belong to my wife - nearly 3 years ago. The vehicle registration is obviously linked to my email (from a previous visit to the garage). This should really be looked at more generally to ensure records are correct and up to date - if nothing else the intended recipient hasn't received the information they may need. Not great.

Had to take car back day after service/mot as a couple of buttons needed resetting, oil and tyre pressure. Also asked for copy of service details as not given on the day. All sorted the day after on 2 July

I am very happy with every aspect of the services you provided up until it came to paying your bill. Your Card Payment machine was broken and would not communicate with the banking network. Eventually I was able to contact my daughter who drove me to Middlewich Post Office where I was able to withdraw cash funds to cover the bill. Your cashier was initially not willing to acknowledge receipt of the cash on the invoice you had provided but eventually did so after we pointed out that I would have no evidence of payment otherwise. Friendly team

Not the cheapest but got me in the same day and did a good job of balancing my 4 tyres. They also managed to fit in a aircon recharge with the 25 percent discount, all made easy. Thanks Chaps. Make sure you check for discounts online, before you get a quote.

I had a loud and worrying rattle somewhere under the car. I called into Protyre to see if they were able to help me. They were able to find and sort the problem immediately and do a service at the same time. Brilliant service one and all. I will be using them from now on.

Left a puncture with them for an hour went back and they put it straight on all done In Ten mins great service

Quick and efficient service. Needed a speedy MOT and they achieved that.

Arrived on time but no-one available to mot. Not very helpful staff and not bothered by their problem. Left vehicle there and waited till got a call 5 hours later. By the fails I got nothing critical but all listed as major. Spoke to a garage about the results and they were not complimentary about this firm. Will not be going back to them ever

I would have given 5 stars, had to wait nearly an hour, the waiting area was being refurbished, this work should be complete now so no issues at all .

This is another occasion that I've experienced here where it seems that the service manager has to hit his performance metrics to the point that non-essential work is being recommended to being done.
This time the vehicle failed an MOT when another services provder said it should have passed.
Replacement tyres were not available and I was told they had no idea when they could be

They did review the tyres and kept me informed during the process

A timely repair, only let down a little by leaving the tyre pressure light on, on the dash.
