I think I really need to replace my car…
I think I really need to replace my car now, it’s like every 6 months- there’s always something wrong. I service it 2x a year and yet I’m paying £1,000 + for car servicing every year . It’s ridiculous really! And yet, I keep coming back to Protyre Guildford in the last 6 years since I got my car because the location is handy to me but their diagnostic seems to be making money out of the customer. Obviously I don’t know much about car’s problems, so mainly relying on the staff recommendation. Mutual Trust is important and giving the right advice is utterly essential, so I would’ve assumed that staff were giving me the right recommendation.

We arrived in the rain, the motorhome wouldn’t fit in the garage but regardless of the weather James got his waterproofs on and the fun began! I cannot praise all the staff for the help in finding the correct tyres, the high pressure valve that were out of stock to get us back on the road the same day. They were the most friendly, professional bunch of people and a credit to Protyre👍

Wheel balance and aligment
I popped in from the street as my Tiguan’s steering wheel was shaking a bit when driving around 70 mph.
At reception, they technically offered a wheel balance and check. I expected that this take a while as I had no time appointment but no more than 15–20 minutes later, they diagnosed the issue and recommended a wheel alignment, hoping this would sort the problem.
Another 10–15 minutes later, and it was all sorted.
It checked it after 2 days when I was next time on the motorway and workek very well, the service and solution were excellent. I will 100% go back next time if I have any issue or I need tyres or any help. They not cheap so this worth mention but the service is very ok.

Don’t trust them
Don’t trust them, they fix things that you didn't ask them to fix without asking you. They changed an oil gasket and catalyst until without my prior knowledge, only to find it was added to the bill.

I used Protyre in Guildford for the MOT and service on my vehicle. Service was prompt, efficient and reasonably priced, as usual.
What stands out for me is the quick and simple booking system - direct response to a phone call - and then attention to detail when the friendly staff deal with me.
