Great service! Sorted thr issue same day despite the issue with distributors, and done more that they needed to.

Great efficient service

Having ordered 4 tyres online and booking a slot for fitting we arrived at protege Chippenham to be told there were only 3 tyres available. We were told the other tyre should be delivered later that day and they would ring us to rearrange. We didn’t get any phone call. Finally after we had made a formal complaint the tyres were fitted 4 days later.
Having stated the above I must praise the manager Augusto who was excellent (great people skills). He has also offered a free MOT which more than compensates us for earlier inconvenience.

The guys were like a well oiled machine! Checked the TPMS sensors and found an old one inside one of the wheels. Very polite, very quick and the cheapest place I found for the tyres I wanted. I’m certainly going there again when I need new tyres.

I was quoted £45 for a wheel alignment but was charged £50. When I queried this later by phone was told that a £5 environment charge was automatically added to all invoices. Company policy apparently.

Very pleased that my Tyre could be repaired, as it kept the cost down! Staff were friendly, but the waiting area could certainly do with being spruced up and the Toilets are obviously used by the workers, dirty with oil and grease.

Update:

Now resolved following proactive customer service.

Tyres fitting was booked and paid for 4 days before appointment. Unfortunately the tyres were not delivered to the garage on the booked day and we had to come back the following day. Protyre are normally much better than this.

Booked in for MOT, it failed, had to wait 4 days before it could be retested leaving me without a car. Guy on reception was very stressed, clearly needed some time off, not sure the company treats it's staff well or it's customers. Took the car elsewhere for the work to be done to speed up the process, was told it was failed unnecessarily on a tyre. Not sure I'd trust them to touch my car again. Still had to wait till the following week for a retest.
