I am utterly devastated after my experience with Prosperity Bank. As a victim of fraud, I lost a staggering $83,000, and the bank's response was shockingly indifferent. They completely ignored my pleas for help and refused to assist in recovering my money. It's heartbreaking to see a financial institution that should protect its customers instead harbor thieves. I urge everyone to think twice before trusting this bank with your hard-earned money.

They're customer service is terrible, but it's not surprising given how poorly they treat their employees.

They don't care about people and they certainly don't care about you and your money. The sooner they go out of business, the better.

Worst customer service ever. My parents both passed in 2024 and my mother, who passed first, had an account there. Instead of recognizing her husband (who was there by her bedside as she passed) and allowing us to close his estate and move forward with our lives- they have dragged it out and demanded we spend more money than what is in the account on legal expenses. Their homemade will, deemed invalid for probate but signed and notarized by my parents, was not enough for them to recognize that my mother wanted everything she owned to go to him. The disregard for her final wishes and the insensitivity in the interactions adds a red hot rage to my grief. Avoid if you have a heart.

The service of this bank has really went down. I have been banking with them for years. When the town was small, the lady I worked with would always approve my laon application for whatever amount I applied for. Today the ladies that work in the branch offices are always pleasant. But when it comes to getting a loan the so called underwriting, in my opinion there is only two groups that are being approved foreigners and hispanics. My credit score was above the requirement. I explained to them before the loan was asked of my situation with Rocket Mortgage which had caused a negative impact on my mortgage payment history, but my scoring was still above requirement. Yet, I get a call for a 3rd party verification of a two year payment history just to be denied.

Worst bank that I've ever seen. I use poverty bank I mean prosperity bank as a secondary bank because it's a mile from my house and my podunk town don't have my real bank. The fees is bullsheet. They charge 20 bucks negative balance fee on top of 35 overdraft fee. I went overdrawn for about 3 hours for 4 bucks. I paid 55 bucks in fees and I was never negative for 24 hrs. Over 4 bucks. Shitz bank

This is the most horrible bank you could ever trust with your hard earned money. The people that work at these banks are clueless and rude. Would never ever recommend this bank to anymore. If I could give them negative stars I would.

Do NOT use a Construction Loan with Prosperity. The do "Reimbursement" draws only, so you have to go out of pocket on Everything and then wait for their clueless inspection to "Approve" whatever small percentage they think is complete, when they know nothing about construction. I have to fight them every time I submit a draw, and I have build hundreds of homes. DO NOT USE!

I have been with this bank for many many years. My issue is not with any person interaction or customer service. The people at the banks are awesome. My direct issue is with the online service. 1. The updates are never accurate, 2. transactions take too long to clear, 3. Auto drafts are not taken out on the day or at least 1 or 2 days. There is no way an auto draft should take 5 or more days especially if it is done mon.-fri. Please get with you online interface or IT team and look at this matter.
