Guayarmina princess hotel, Tenerife. We paid for a junior suite which included access to platinum club restaurant and sunbed areas. Despite paying for this upgrade and being ‘all inclusive’ the cocktails we could have were very limited and most of our favourites you had to pay extra for. The platinum restaurant food was average and the breakfast was better (more choice) in the self service area was. The snacks in sea breeze bar by the platinum sunbed area were revolting, basic and probably the worst snacks I have ever tasted anywhere! The evening entertainment was only in one area inside the hotel which did not have enough seating for guests. Nearly everyone we spoke with shared the same views and said they we never return to this hotel.

Stay: 26 Nov – 3 Dec 2025, Platinum Suite, family of 4 (2 adults, 2 small children).
On my second to third day, I suddenly developed severe diarrhea, abdominal pain and dehydration.
The next morning I was seen at the resort medical center and immediately referred to hospital, where I was diagnosed with acute bacterial gastroenteritis. I spent the day in the emergency department on IV fluids and antibiotics.
Our 3‑year‑old and 1‑year‑old children, my wife, my cousin and my father all had diarrhea during the same period. We did not leave the resort or eat anywhere else, only after several days consuming food and drinks at the property.
The rest of our once‑a‑year family reunion was ruined: I was weak, could barely eat, and spent most of the time in the humid, musty‑smelling room. My wife had to manage a baby and toddler almost alone.
I reported everything in person to the Platinum Lobby concierge. Nobody ever followed up. When I later sent a written complaint, management replied with templated emails denying any responsibility, suggesting the illness could have come from “many other sources”, and dismissing other guests’ similar complaints as “isolated comments” – even though a quick search shows groups of guests with the same symptoms around the same period.
We paid about €1,990 for the stay and around US$ 1,500 in medical bills (resort doctor + hospital). The hotel refused any refund or compensation.
I would not return to Grand Bávaro Princess and strongly recommend reading recent reviews carefully before booking.

Wir haben für 330 € pro Nacht ein Zimmer mit „atemberaubendem Meerblick“ gebucht und bekamen stattdessen den Blick auf Mülltonnen, eine laute Klimaanlage und die Rückseite einer Wasserrutsche. Um 6:00 Uhr früh kam mit lautem Piepen und Gepolter der Müllwagen. Unsere Beschwerde wurde vom Manager José Antonio García Cuerva lapidar abgetan – alles angeblich „gleiche Kategorie“ – und uns wurde vorgeschlagen, wir sollten uns doch ein anderes Hotel suchen. Das Rezeptionsteam bestätigte uns später, dass diese Zimmer eigentlich gar nicht vermietet werden dürften. Absolut enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert.

Vi bookede La Palma Princess, fordi hotellet entydigt blev markedsført og solgt som et voksenhotel. Det var et helt afgørende kriterium for vores valg. Allerede ved ankomst stod det dog klart, at dette ikke havde nogen relevans for det ophold, vi faktisk fik. Voksenhotellet viste sig at være en separat afdeling (“Esencia”), som vi – på trods af markedsføringen – ikke havde adgang til. For os eksisterede der reelt intet voksenhotel, selvom det var præcis det, vi var blevet lovet.
Vi forsøgte at få adgang til voksenafdelingen, men fik blot at vide, at den var fuldt booket. Vi foreslog derefter adgang til de restauranter, som voksenafdelingen har adgang til, da det var det vigtigste for os. Det kunne heller ikke lade sig gøre – igen med begrundelsen “fuldt booket”.
Vi tilbød at beholde vores nuværende værelse og betale ekstra for kun at få adgang til restauranterne. Stadig nej. Serviceviljen var fuldstændig fraværende, selvom vi tydeligt gjorde opmærksom på, at vi var villige til at betale.
Herefter spurgte vi, om vi kunne opgradere til et værelse med havudsigt. Det blev blankt afvist uden overhovedet at tjekke ledigheden – på trods af at man tydeligt kan se, at store dele af havudsigt-blokken står tom. Endnu engang tilbød vi at betale. Stadig nej.
Over halvdelen af hotellet fremstår lukket. Discoen er lukket, to ud af tre restauranter er lukket, det udendørs spiseområde er lukket til frokost, og spa- samt massagefaciliteter er lukket. Alligevel markedsføres hotellet med netop disse faciliteter inden afrejse. Det føles som decideret misvisende markedsføring.
Elevatoren var enten lukket eller ude af drift, hvilket betød, at vi selv måtte slæbe kufferter op og ned ad flere trapper ved både ankomst og afrejse. Alternativet var at efterlade bagagen uden opsyn udenfor receptionen.
Personalet i receptionen og i den indendørs bar opleves som arrogante og ufleksible. Intet kan lade sig gøre. Drikkevarer skænkes ikke i baren, men skal hentes i selvbetjeningsautomater – på trods af at de samme drikkevarer står bag baren. Selv et stort ølkrus kunne ikke udleveres af principielle årsager.
Maden i restauranten er faktisk god, men oplevelsen forringes af alt for lidt personale. Bordene er ofte ikke dækket, der ligger mad på gulvet, og man skal selv rundt og bede om glas, bestik og servietter.
All inclusive-drinks er ekstremt tynde og smager mest af vand. Rødvinen er nærmest udrikkelig. “All inclusive” føles mere som et salgsord end en reel kvalitet.
Værelserne i La Palma Princess-afdelingen fremstår slidte og ikke istandsatte, i skarp kontrast til Esencia-afdelingen, som tydeligvis er nyrenoveret. Hotellet er reelt opdelt i A- og B-hold, selvom man betaler fuld pris.
Derudover koster næsten alt ekstra: tennis og padel (20 € pr. time), indendørs pool (15 € for 45 min / 35 € for 3 timer), friskpresset juice og baristakaffe. Dette på trods af, at opholdet i forvejen er dyrt og markedsført som all inclusive.
Der er lange køer ved restauranten om aftenen, og når den lukker, afspilles den samme operasang på ekstremt høj volumen for at få gæsterne til at forlade spisesalen hurtigst muligt.
Det eneste, der fungerer rigtig godt, er fitnessafdelingen og poolområderne, som er veludstyrede, velholdte og indbydende.
Samlet set stemmer oplevelsen på ingen måde overens med det, der blev solgt og markedsført. Manglende gennemsigtighed, minimal service og en gennemgående følelse af at skulle betale ekstra for alt efterlader et meget skuffende indtryk.
They called police to remove guest’s car
This is a review for mogan princes beach club gran canaria. The hotel is at remote place at a cliff. There are few parking in-front of hotel and they restrict no parking just front of the hotel.
Nearest parking is 15 min walk in a stiff road. Their underground parking is empty but they would ask us to go find a parking at parking in nowhere in the night and walk back to hotel.
When I said, please allow ua to park in-front of hotel which doesn’t block anything they call police to remove my car. They treat their guest like enemies.
Later they forced me to pay €20 to park in their underground parking space.
Not sure why TUI and JET2 LoveHolidays promotes this hotel which is far from all happening places, with out dated interior, and rude staff and non friend hotel policy.
I will never recommend this hotel, think twice before you book this. You will have much better hotel in central location at this price.
Tarito has a very small beach, few hotels and nothing much.
At the end I have never seen a hotel with staffs so rude to their customer.

Wow the worst hotel ever I booked with love holidays and got food poisoning from the food in princess hotel. I thought I was going to die. I didn’t get no refund from live holidays or the hotel . Paid £300 in DR for my medical expenses. NEVER AGAIN!

Arrived at hotel which has a beautiful entrance to hotel checked in at reception the lady who checked us in spoke so quickly we had to ask her to repeat several times. Only after a few days we realised the lack of information she had given us we found information from other guests
Didn’t know you can upgrade to AI or AI premium
All staff with exception of an issue as mentioned below were helpful and always say hello
Cleaning staff who did the rooms worked very hard
Al a crate Boho you have to pay for this on HB open till 5pm if AI you can get snacks but still have to pay for other food. Snacks not so good not 4 star food. Dull looking building so much more Could be be done with this building rarely we saw anyone in it

Beautiful room 511, 5th floor we were grateful given a sea view as we hadn’t booked it only disappointing thing you get sun on balcony 830am till 2pm and the rooms at the other side get it from late afternoon but that’s a personal preference and not the fault of hotel balcony has 2 chairs and table and a good size . Well cleaned and fabulous comfy huge bed. Lack of draw space but we managed.
Pool. large pool half is heated but like most hotels it’s not heated that well very clean well maintained. Sun-beds adequate but not luxury some dipped in middle need changing. Pool area cleaned every day. Beware you cannot put towels on beds before 10am and go for breakfast the towels will be removed if no one on beds.

If AI you simply help yourself it’s a great idea as this is the case all over hotel including restaurant with the exception of the main bar in lounge area it saves time.

Fabulous spacious lovely seating area bar always busy. Where it let itself down is on AI you are very limited to what you can have for example if you want Tia Maria AI you still pay nearly 5 euros not much more if HB they don’t have alternatives. The wine is cheap and nasty AI should be everything with minor exceptions only if you go premium do you get more options but not everything so this is definitely an area the hotel need to look at
Restaurant
Can’t praise this enough fresh food always hot lots of variety yes you may not like things but food is subjective always so much choices. I didn’t like the bacon unappetising but rest made up for it. They replenish foods constantly even if near to 9pm when it’s finished.
As most hotels the deserts are often cream based they did have some cakes non cream in few occasions but this again is personal to me
The salads and choice are amazing
Fish night with abundance of smoke salmon all delicious
We did have an issue concerning the restaurant and a member of staff but I am not going to dwell on on that as after speaking with front of house manager Lewis who was professional and acted immediately to rectify the problem and we thank him for that.
Would we go back to this hotel yes definitely

The new hotel: grand princess Jamaica is beautiful, nice decor, big, nice rooms but that is it. Beach extremely rocky must bring water shoes, very shallow - cannot even swim. Try to swim and you get rocks. Food the worse I ever had. You may wonder - how can you even ruin breakfast ?? Well princess grand can. If you come for breakfast after 9 am- no croissants( only stale rolls- that u have to toast), absolutely no fruits , not even bananas!!! Apples and pears! You have to ask and wait for hash browns, smoked salmon has a fishy smell, not even fresh tomatoes, no choices….. food trucks- are always out of food. Around 1:30 they have no chicken, only hot dogs and burgers . How can they be out of food? Knowing people came for vacation. Even ice cream is always out. And that is ridiculous! How can u be out of ice creams!
Pool has no Intertainment. Barely few games around 12 & 2. Cannot even get any drinks at the beach for platinum Club members. Restaurants always out of food. It’s a holiday week! How can it be ?? Trying to upload photos but don’t. Now how to on this site. People come for the beach , entertainment and food!!! Beach is so rocky u can’t even walk, no entertainment and food is terrible . I am glad that workers able to Entertain themselves. All rooms AC leaking. Ceiling leaking ( have videos) , etc. But the worse is beach and food. Worker’s in the buffet do not wear gloves and touch food with bare hands. Very unsanitary !I hope princess administration would read this! and at least make some difference for this week and New Years! Thank you.

la palma princess is a worst nightmare, ichy mites scabies on beddings and sofa, we woke up by super ichyness, I have never had this ichyness ever in my life. when I complained to receiption, the manager insisted they have no problem, after nearly two weeks, I am still suffering ichyness of my whole body, I am using scabies treatment cream: permithrin. the mattress topper has lots of yellowish stain and human body hairs, very disgusting hotel. I have been to different holiday, this la palma hotel is really the worst horrible place to visit, it is just next the hell.
I hope the chain management can see my review, they can improve it, don't let more people suffer from this la palma princess, it is real nightmare!!!

What can I say not a 4 star in my opinion we are couple in our 30s the hotel does have stunning views but everything else let’s it down decor,food,nothing nearby 1 supermarket everything else you need a taxi which cost 10euro upwards the walls are paper thin the food was not great and I don’t care what anyone says this is not 4 star food at an all inclusive buffet mainly catered for German nationals, staff are phew and far between and not very helpful or attentive to your needs, the beach takes 15mins to walk down 60 steep steps with hand rails hanging off all the lighting on the stairs down to the beach on a evening are all broke but the hotel facing it are all lit up, The room was adults double standard when arrived mini fridge was broke room wasn’t ready big holes in the patio door which made it very cold on a night and noisy with it rattling. We booked bed with a beach view waited 2 hours no one come with the stuff which you get when booking these beds requested refund at reception, was advertised as adults area would get a peaceful part of the restaurant this was not the case it’s simply just 2 sections in one main part no separation, staff members where telling us to go next door as we had black bands to eat and drink as it’s better then the food here, they also said the left over rice gets refilled into the kids section which is very very limited, we paid a lot of money for All inclusive here and I’ve got to say I won’t be returning it’s not what it makes it out to be it’s needs a facelift and more attention to detail and different lay out if there going to advertise as adults only area as I felt everyone was everywhere, the walls in the room are paper thin and can hear everything from all other rooms, if you don’t want to do anything apart from lay down all day and eat basic food then this is the hotel for you, everything you do eat and drink has to come from the hotel unless you travel as there isn’t anything nearby, this hotel is for pensioners not family’s or middle age people don’t waste your money I read so many reviews thinking it was going to be great I’m being 100% honest with everything I’ve said look for costa calma moro jabble or right up the north as you will be catered for and there is loads to do for kids family’s couples and older people,however the island is amazing and I’ve covered it top to bottom just where club jandia is it’s very derelict with amazing views cleaners where great the room was clean everyday, it’s also a hotspot for naturists which I don’t have anything against but should stick to a private part of the beach as when we was on the beach grown men and women right in front of family’s and young kids stripping off naked is not really the way to be in any country as i said I’ve nothing agains but there is enough beach to go and make it private not everyone wants to see that and when people have paid it shouldn’t be shoved basically in there faces, however the hotel does provide a small private pool for naturist. Fuertaventura is a beautiful island with lots to do in certain parts just jandia does not having nothing no restaurants no local shops coffee shops just 1 supermarket which does not sell medicine or tobacco products all of them have to be bought from a vender which then has to be activated by staff members. Just was not great and wouldn’t not stay again.

It was the worst holiday we have ever had.
The weather was superb but the hotel is in need of total renovation.
The rooms air conditioning (when we needed some warmth) doesn’t work.
The bathrooms are old and shoddy, the showers at best are weak but on 3 occasions we had no hot water in the evening.
The plugs in the basin, shower / bath don’t work.
The towels provided are so thin and of a low quality.
The bases of the bed were scratched and looked way over due for replacement.
I didn’t dare look at the mattress.
The pillows were so lightweight.
The food was of such a poor quality, including the 2 A La Carte restaurants.
The toilets in the common parts of the hotel hand driers are a joke, smelly, dirty and often without soap.
The main and beach entrances are dirty.
All this was after changing rooms. We raised issues with the front desk.But realised there was little they could do. I was told by a member of front desk staff to contact Princess head office. I DEMAND A RESPONSE

Finally restricted sunbed reservations until after
10 am.shame dress code is relaxed for evening meal.

We stayed recently in the Guayarmine Princess Hotel. It was the worst experience I ever had. read before you make your own booking with a princess hotel. See here our experience. The Hotel first gave us a hotel room on ground floor. once we arrived in our room there was a gutter smell. the cleaning crew came and sprayed some spray but this did not help. So we asked is this normal problem and they advised this is normal on this floor. We asked for another room. The hotel said we are full. I was about to go and check out again. They finally found another room. Later we found out that the hotel is build lower than the boulevard and that this is a structural problem as gutter goes to lowest point and they did not put protection inside so one can not prevent this smell if they do not make structural changes. the new room was next to the aircondition units of the next door hotel and making a lot of noise. We had to sleep with earplugs for this noise. Than the food market is a place where one eats and is buffet style food. The problem is that place is not good at all. Our experiences where terrible. As we have holidays together we like to eat together but if you tried this there your table might be cleaned, taken by other guests or your medicine trow out. so each goes separate turns and eats separate. the food they use is not fresh food but canned vegetables instead of fresh. the hygiene where also not up to par. the placemats were not cleaned. they have special roast restaurant a sit down dinner. it is a bit better but there they use a lot of salt in everything. food presentation is not there. the luxury dinner location in gazebo do not go there as there is the gutter smell of the street rising up. we complained to front desk as we asked for manager. but only guest services only replied. therefore a full letter will go to ceo of princess hotels as well as the guest services are rude and unprofessional and called us a liar and we were ordered not to speak to any other manager. services of hotel and food are 75 percent of your holiday and they were for us zero. the christmas dinner normally a special occassion but we had to walk away as the service and food were so bad. beware before you book as this hotel is very expensive for what you get.

Princess Furenventura har aldrig oplevet mere uhøfligt personale. Her er ikke mange smil, og deres service er helt i bund.
Da vi ankommer står vi 2 timer i kø for at tjekke ind, trods det vi havde tjekket ind hjemmefra for at lette ekspeditionen..
7 gange har jeg måtte skifte nøglekort og fik samme besked hver gang, at det ikke måtte ligge ved mobil, hvilket det aldrig gjorde.
Med All inclusive måtte du max hente 2 drinks i baren, selvom vi var 3 voksne.
Der var mega kø i baren, og personalet var på ingen måde hurtige eller imødekommende. Den ene aften kom vi 2 min før lukketid, men måtte slet ikke få noget og blev nærmest skubbet ud…
Den sidste aften bestilte vi drinks og hende der stod i baren stod og vendte øjne af os. Har aldrig oplevet noget lign.
Vi var der fra den 18-25 december og det er både første og sidste gang vi kommer der…

Taurito princess , gran canaria , via the tour operator TUI , advertised as a 4 star hotel and resort but sadly not , if it was made of glass it had a crack in it, if it was marble it had a crack too. If it was rendered it was either blown or cracked. If it was tiled the grout was missing, if it was painted it was peeling. I won't go on you get the idea, it was just worn out and In desperate of a refit. The all inclusive restaurant was ok as these things go, and the staff polite and helpful, but sadly trapped. You feel sorry for them as no matter how nice they are that won't solve the fact that the air conditioning makes such a terrific noise that you cant sleep, oh and they can't fix it either. Water comes up through the floor in the bathroom when you shower, the TV wouldn't turn off, oh and you can't drink the water. The TUI reps on our resort were also almost useless too. My advice if you can give the hotel and TUI a miss

He estado 5 veces en el hotel Grand Bàvaro Princess. En mi vida he encontrado en ningún lugar del mundo un hotel tan limpio. Un personal tan maravilloso, gentil y encantador. Jamás he comido una fideuá tan buena y soy española. Mary de Guest Service es un 1000/100.
Este año la animación todavía mejor con Henry, Joel, Teo, José, Berny, Salami.... y las niñas un encanto. Muchas gracias por todo. Sus sonrisas 24/7 hacen todavía mejores nuestras vacaciones. Comida excelente. Todo el personal maravilloso, a todos y a cada uno de ellos muchas gracias por todo.
