Bought an Audi TT from these jokers two weeks ago. Car was delivered, tyre pressure light on. Stalks wouldn’t work. Clutch gone within 1 hr. Had to replace rear tyres. Nightmare of a process to get my money back- sent a very aggressive recovery driver up who nearly got filled in and put in the dumpster. Awful.
Car Buying Warning – Learn from Experience
I’m sharing this to help others avoid a difficult situation I experienced after purchasing a vehicle from a salesperson named Roy at Pricemark Motors.
I bought the car on 30th August 2025, and on the same day, it developed an overheating fault. After contacting the dealership, I was directed to go through the warranty process and was advised to report the issue in a way that did not reflect when it actually started.
I chose to be honest and informed the warranty provider that the issue began on the first day of purchase. The claim was then rejected, likely on the basis that the fault was considered pre-existing.
The situation then became increasingly frustrating:
It took around 5 months for the dealership to arrange collection of the vehicle for repairs
The car was kept for nearly a month
When it was returned, the same overheating issue reoccurred the very next day
I reported this again but received no meaningful response
At that point, I felt I had no choice but to return the vehicle. It was officially returned on 25th March 2026.
The matter is currently under investigation by the finance company, and I am awaiting the outcome.
They sold me bad engine Mercedes, same day the car had over heated while drove from Birmingham to Liverpool, Roy is a big scam .
Terrible scam of a service, looked shady from the get go, went with my mate to get a 2014 Mercedes for his first car after passing his test and what a goddam shit wreck of a car these lots sold to him for top dollar. We gad barely driven the car home before we started experiencing issues and with all sorts of warning lights coming on, we rang the dealer, a guy name Roy who we done business with and he was all of sudden a different person, cold, dismissive and unhelpful, long story short my mate tried to return the car after a couple of months and well within the warranty and they wouldn’t take it back or cover the cost of fixing the plethora of issues that was wrong with the car. This is a public service announcement not to use this guy or his service or take a very good mechanic with you if you must because they are very untrustworthy people that show no respect, money hungry and thieving and pretty much classless, all they want is your money, they have no clue what customer service is, might sound like a tirade but it’s not, i don’t wish what my mate went through for anybody plus you probably worked hard for your money and deserve to enjoy a car with no issues for atleast 2 years, you won’t get that that PRICE MARK, ‼️⚠️, they don’t even deserve a one start but since they can’t get any lower that’s all they get, they shouldn’t have any stars next to their name.
After buying a Vauxhall Grandland for a substantial amount of money, two days after the purchase the oil light came on. I thought is was strange because all the preparation work should have been done before it left the sales lot. I informed them and the warranty company of the fault. Roy told me to take it to a garage to be looked at, they couldn’t find the fault , I was told to take it there twice. The garage were only concerned about who was going to pay them. I asked for my money back but was refused, Roy said he was going to take it to the dealers. This never happened. After it eventually breaking down on the motorway he collected the vehicle and weeks later said it was fixed. I had no faith in this vehicle being fixed and asked for my money back or for him to sell on my behalf. He refused again. I eventually had to go and pick the vehicle up and sell it myself at a loss of thousands of pounds. I also found out that they had sold the vehicle previously to someone else who had the same problem. They knowingly sold the vehicle to me with a major oil issue and refused to re-immerse me. This will be reported to trading standards.
