I want to share my honest experience…
I want to share my honest experience with Pocketsflow so other creators can make an informed decision before using the platform.
My initial experience was actually very good. My verification process, including the overall onboarding, was completed in around 8 days, and my first payout took approximately 4 days to clear. After that, I successfully received 3 payouts, so initially I had a very positive impression of the platform.
Then things changed.
I received three sales — $450, $450, and $100. I had a clear refund policy stated for my digital products, and despite that, one of the payments was refunded without what I consider a reasonable explanation. For digital products, this is especially frustrating because customers can review the product, information, screenshots, and details before purchasing.
What made it worse was being told that the refund was initiated by their “payment partner” and that Pocketsflow couldn't really do anything about it.
On top of the refund, the refund-related charges were also deducted from my balance.
Now I have around $350 stuck, and this is where my biggest concern is.
The support response time has become extremely slow. Earlier, I would usually receive a response within 3–4 hours, and sometimes the founder himself would respond to emails, which I genuinely appreciated. But since my payment became stuck, getting a proper response from support has become extremely difficult.
The responses I do receive are mostly along the lines of:
“We are reviewing your details.”
“Your payout is paused.”
“This is being handled by our payment partner.”
But there is still no clear timeline, explanation, or actual solution.
I've also spoken with several newer users who told me they are experiencing something similar — their payments are stuck, their payouts are paused for review, and despite repeatedly contacting support, they're not receiving proper responses.
To be fair, Pocketsflow's checkout experience is genuinely impressive. The product itself has a lot of potential, and my experience during the initial stage was good. I also liked the fact that the founder sometimes personally responded to users.
But a payment platform can't only have a great checkout experience. Payouts, refunds, compliance reviews, and customer support are arguably even more important.
I really hope Pocketsflow addresses these issues in a more professional and transparent way. If they can improve the payout-review process, communicate clear timelines, and provide better support when funds are stuck, I genuinely believe they could become a strong platform.
For now, though, based on my experience, I'd recommend new users be cautious about keeping a large balance on the platform until these payout issues are resolved.
This isn't meant to attack Pocketsflow I'm sharing my actual experience because I think potential users deserve to know both the good and the bad.
