Pizza Express Omdömen 

I ordered a florentina pizza without eggs from pizza express and I received the PIZZA with Eggon it. AVOID ORDERING FROM THEM.😟

The waiting time for food for our party of six was deplorable. It took an hour and a half. Portions are miniscule, especially for the money. This was a dinner, not a lunch menu. I had zucchini linguini, there was literally two slices of courgette. All of the party was disappointed as it was a long awaited get together. Manager didn't seem especially bothered when we complained. They did reduce the bill of over a hundred pound by £20 They knew we weren't happy but never asked if we wanted desserts or coffee. We didn't have starters so this made an expensive miniscule main. This was the Newark branch.

Wir haben bestellt, Gorgonzola nudeln mit Spinat und Frühlingsrollen .
Die Nudeln sind durch die Sahne extrem dominiert worden.
Der Spinat wurde kaum von der Soße aufgenommen, und war vor allem von Sahne und Käse untersetzt.
Der Spinat kam kaum zur Geltung.
wo bei das für Gamer vielleicht noch was tolles sein mag. Die Frühlingsrollen kamen ohne soße wie angegeben, aber dafür absurd scharf, was den Geschmack allgemein festlegt. da es immer anders schmeckt, ist es meiner Meinung nach geschmacklich nicht ernst zunehmen .

When my family and I go on a shopping trip we usually treat ourselves to a pizza from here! On the 23rd January 2023 we ordered their "New Vegan Pizza"
We were shocked at how REALLY thin it was with hardly any topping....just the odd mushroom here and there! I think if it was made any thinner....it would have been see-through! That on its own cost £15. We also had a cheese garlic bread, tiny salad bowl, 2 teas, a chocolate brownie and a tiramasu. Total cost £49.
I think we'll definitely be going elsewhere in future!!!!!

Schlechteste Bestellung die je geliefert bekommen hab. Hab gyros metaxa bestellt. War ohne Käse. Dabei stand in der Beschreibung mit Käse überbacken. War mit hähnchenfleisch. Wenn ich Gyros bestelle den geh ich davon aus das das mit Schwein gemacht wird. Sonst schreibt man hänchengyros. Die Soße schmeckte kein Stück nach metaxa. Hat man sich wohl auch gespart. Dazu ganz alte Bratkartoffeln total ungesalsen.

Awful experience
Oven too hot so burned both of our meals on top and very badly around the edges, leaving them raw underneath. Seemed to only use one oven so not sure if there was some issue or the oven was set too high/trying to put more than one thing in. When we sent our meals back, chefs were indignant and said they were meant to be like that (charred black around the edges of both meals and seriously burnt in the middle tasting very unsavoury). Said we had visited various PE in London and at differing locations many times and never had an issue and this clearly wasnt right. We were offered alternatives and were told that we couldnt order the same food again. When we looked over, the chefs were clearly annoyed and frantically texting on their phones next to the manager. Was told several times that the chefs said to tell us that the food always looked like that and it was normal. We had to repeat it was not right and were finally offered a discount when we left. Would never waste our money in there again. We very rarely complain about anything and it was embarrassing sitting there with obvious conflict - and clearly not a good experience for any of us

I joined the Pizza Express Club last year, by downloading the App onto my mobile, and had worked up to Silver Level which gives a few more benefits for the loyal customer.

Today, I tried to book a table using the App and was requested to update it. This was not possible as, following a long chat with Customer Services, the update doesn't work on my mobile. This renders my membership unuseable, and I am not prepared to get a new mobile in order to use the App.

I would have given this review 1 star, but the Customer Services person did do her best to help me so I upgraded the review.

I have been a customer of Pizza Express since its early days, so this is very disappointing. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Misleading advertising. £120 for tickets and booked table for 4. Given a table that wasn’t a table! It was a single bar where we sat alongside and could not hold a conversation. Total misrepresentation so will be contacting CEO and regulator.

Die schlechteste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Boden teigig und viel zu viel Käse. Margarita meiner Tochter war total versalzen.

I have been going to Pizza Express in Basildon Essex for a number of years now. Every single visit has been fantastic food. Literally have never had bad food or service there. The staff and food are amazing! I would particularly like to mention Julie who goes above and beyond and is a real credit to the company!!

Really busy and thriving Saturday evening, plenty of staff running around, our food was delicious and the service from our waiter was just right. Definitely worth booking as it gets busy. Well done Pizza Express we had a lovely meal.

The food was okay but one of the waiters was extremely ill-mannered and uncivilized. We missed the sign on the door and entered the restaurant instead of waiting for someone to greet us, and said waiter went absolutely crazy. He started yelling at us, he told us off very nastily and just gave us dirty looks throughout the whole of our lunch. His co-worker had to apologize on his behalf; he kept on having a bad attitude the whole time. The guy had anger issues combined with the maturity of a 3-year old :) One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I visited the pizza express in Plymouth and food and service was outstanding! A must visit!

Sehr zufrieden und super Leistung

Habe eine kleine Pizza und Nudeln mit Soße bestellt. Ich frage mich echt wie man bei Nudeln den Geschmack dermaßen verfehlen kann. Die Pizza hat ebenfalls überhaupt nicht geschmeckt.
Schade für den Preis und die Vorfreude, die man bei einer Bestellung hat!

Went to their Bournemouth BH2 restaurant. Food was good as usual but the experience was spoiled by the after-service. The server said that a 'free doughball' notification I showed her on my 'phone was acceptable. I was charged, but didn't notice until the next day. It took several emails and a lot of my wasted time to get a refund. This was more a matter of principal than getting back the £4.50 overcharged. Even then they refused a request for compensation for wasting my time. I like their restaurants but dealing with Pizza Express customer services leaves a bad taste - excuse the intended pun !

Wie immer für mich Margarita mit doppel Käse und ohne Gewürze.
Nach 2 Stücke hatte ich etwas im Mund was nicht zur Pizza gehörte 🤢
Es war echt WIDERLICHER und ich dachte ich hätte n Kondome im Mund 🤮 warscheinlich ne Wurstverpackung
Nach der Reklamation wurde einfach aufgelegt und unsere Nummer gesperrt

Outstanding Service & Customer Retention!
Normally like most I review when things or service could have been better but this is well worth my time to share with others!
We went to Gloucester Docks / Quays on Sunday with every intention of eating at Zizzi’s but when we got there they had stopped serving due to staff shortages. So we went to Pizza Express over the way, as we had a small dog we’re use to having to eat outside but the outside area was not set out for service so I went in and asked if they were operating outside, a floor manager who I think might be called Charlie (sorry if I got that wrong!) said unfortunately they weren’t due to staffing levels but had seats inside.
I explained about having the dog so we couldn’t eat inside and that we were due at Zizzi’s but they had closed early but I did understand and I was about to leave when he looked around his restaurant and said we can manage one table and instructed me to take an outside seat.
He didn’t delegate us to another server he waited on us himself and was very attentive giving great service, we watched him inside waiting on other tables as he worked, nothing seemed too much trouble for him to keep customers happy.
I did ask when he cleared the plates if he was the manager to which he replied no unfortunately!
Note to Pizza Express HR department “You need to promote him or risk loosing him to a competitor!”
I’m ex Regional Business Development Manager for Pubs & Restaurants and I’d poach him tomorrow if I were still in the trade. (Now happily retired).
Driving sales and delivering / exceeding customer expectations!
I hope I got his name correct (Off the receipt) he knows who is as he explained that “sometimes my face doesn’t indicate how happy he is in his job!”
How rare to find a committed young man who wants to get on in the business and ensure he gives the highest level of customer service in this day and age, well done!
We’ll be back as regulars.

Kerry at the Tower Park Poole Pizza Express was AMAZING. She was friendly, interested and an amazing server/person. I hope she gets recognised for brilliant service which was attentive and genuinely interested in us. Shame we did not have anything money wise to give her (or cash machines handy) as have not received service like it since lockdown. What a credit to you when other staff (including kitchen staff) too busy on their mobile phone, yes we saw you all!, Kerry was not and was so attentive and genuine. Thank you sorry we could not a monetary contribution but you are an asset to the brand. Will be back just for you and food.

Had a really good experience eating in pizza express in Leicester. Really great food and fantastic service in Leicester
