A culture of collaboration
Phillips Solicitors was established in 1986. Brain Chase Coles Solicitors was established in 1995. Both firms merged on 1 February 2020. The merger was an important step towards our goal of building the region’s strongest dynamic, full-service law firm, whilst maintaining the traditional values that both firms were built on. In 2021, Phillips acquired Henley’s Solicitors. In 2022, we became Phillips Law.

Employment matter - friendly and effective advice
I was referred to Jacqueline Kendal through a friend of mine, who suggested that she would be well placed to advise me on an employment matter I was unsure of how to navigate. For what was a stressful time for me personally, Jacqueline's advice was always direct but delivered in a calm, friendly and personable manner, which made me feel at ease and reduced the stress I was experiencing significantly, and the scenario ended with a positive resolution. I would highly recommend Jacqueline and the team.

Making a New Will
I was assigned Claire-Marie Selwood to help with making a new will. I appreciated the time she took to answer my questions and the advice she gave about managing the process as well as the care she took in talking me through decisions about any changes I proposed making. The process - barring one administrative hiccup - was simple and straightforward and I am now aware of when I may need to review this will. All in all, an efficient, professional and courteous service.

Outstanding service
I used Phillips Law for the process of buying the remaining shares of my shared ownership property and they were absolutely brilliant!
Trish Coutts and Jakki Lonie provided an outstanding service from start to finish! They are so efficient, knowledgable and friendly and made the whole process feel seemless!
They are also brilliant at communicating updates and answering queries promptly so I always felt up to speed with everything. The staircasing purchase went through so quickly and this is all down to their amazing service and incredibly hard work.
The fees are also very reasonable for such a great service!
