I had an order of a wrought iron pan and rocket stove arrive looking like it had been run over. The items were placed in a large box with the pan slid in alongside the stove box with cursory packaging around it, so the handle burst through the flimsy main box during transit, got bent and then apparently somehow put a huge dent in the side of the rocket stove. I then had to send the items back (Beatrice was awesome at the support end) and had a pair of replacements sent to me and AGAIN they were put in a flimsy box with useless brown paper packing and AGAIN it arrived with the pan handle sticking out through a hole in the side. Luckily things seem okay but good grief for the brand messaging about quality and the price of their products you’d think they’d be properly and carefully packed for shipping. I’ll buy Petromax again but not from Petromax directly.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle einmal über meine gesamte Erfahrung mit der Firma/Marke Petromax berichten.
Da ich einfach zu viele Produkte besitze um auf jedes einzeln einzugehen (mein Keller könnte auch als Zweitlager dienen :D ). Seit vielen Jahren setze ich bereits auf die Produkte von Petromax und wurde bisher nie von der Qualität enttäuscht und sollte einmal etwas doch nicht zur vollsten Zufriedenheit sein, hilft das kompetente Team sehr schnell und Lösungsorientiert. Meine Bestellungen kamen bisher immer sehr schnell an und waren bestens für den Transport verpackt. Insgesamt merkt man die liebe zu den Produkten und das dort ein Team arbeitet die voll hinter der Brand steckt.
Mit meiner Familie (3 Kinder) gehen wir oft auf sehr ursprüngliche Art zelten und benutzen dabei fast ausschließlich die Produkte von Petromax wie zb.:

- HK500
- Kühlbox KX50
- Dreibein
- Dutchoven
- Feuerpfanne
- Schmiedeeiserne Pfanne
- Raketenofen

Two days ago i bought a Petromax HK500. Beautiful lamp with excellent build quality. Even though, I had some problems with it and bought spare parts. E-mailed the customer service for a refund and they replied within 24 hours that a refund had been processed.

I have loads of Petromax items. Not once have I experienced any defects or substandard quality in any of their products…. And I own A LOT! The company are a genuine gem for manufacturing standards in this day and age and very fairly priced. My only complaint is that Brexit has ruined the experience of shopping direct with them… paying a small fortune in import duties and taxes costing me nearly £50 more than purchasing the same item from a uk supplier which is a farce (but this isn’t their fault… and my fault for not doing my homework). All I will say is, support this company for their amazing products but also support uk suppliers of Petromax products for a competitive price (and to support the uk suppliers) and to ensure that this company continues with their exports to uk outlets.
UPDATE: The import duties and VAT is now no longer an issues. What you see on the site re product price and shipping is what you pay. Thanks Petromax 😊

Lieferung schnell -- aber der Kundenservice -- aus meiner Sicht ungenügend.
Mensch Leute das könnt Ihr doch besser! Auch der Kundenkontakt am Telefon gehört zu einem guten Shop.
Mich haben Sie überzeugt ! Ich kaufe hier nie mehr ein!

Finde die Sachen einfach toll. Besonders der ft9 macht einfach Spaß.
