Be careful when you uninstall the Payzone app! They use scammers practice! The Payzone app will be take your money every mont 10euros if didn't cancel your account or subscription. This is SCAM!

We offer two options:
Registered account: Designed for regular parkers and those who want access to additional services. It includes on-street parking, and access to tolling & exclusive offers for €1.29/month per vehicle. A minimum account balance of €10 ensures your account always has funds available. These terms are agreed to at sign-up.
Pay As You Go (PAYG): Best for infrequent users and those who just want access to parking only. There’s no monthly fee just a €0.35 convenience charge per parking session. To use this, simply reinstall the app and select “Park without account.”
If you’d like us to close your registered account and issue a refund of your account balance that is no problem, please email us at parking@payzone.ie with your details (mobile number, vehicle reg, etc.), and we’ll be happy to resolve this for you promptly.

Scam
Scam. You cannot turn off auto topup - so the app will incessantly try and take money from your bank account even when you have money on their.
EDIT: The reply is misleading as per their own website. If you download the app and sign up so you can park more than once, the auto topup feature activates. The only way to avoid this is to not register and then have to input details every time you want to park. Signing up shouldn't then give them mandate to charge your card €10 the second the balance it hits €9.99.

We have two account options available:
Pay As You Go (PAYG): This option is ideal for infrequent parkers or for anyone who does not want access to additional services such as tolling or discounts on fuel, car washes, etc. PAYG does not include the same minimum balance and auto top up feature as our full account.
A full account: This includes parking plus access to additional services. This account includes an auto top up and a minimum balance feature to ensure you always have enough funds available when using parking or any of the added services.
Auto top up only triggers when your balance falls below the set threshold, and the funds remain on your account for future use.
We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify how the account options work.

I’m new to card terminals and was using SumUp before, but I couldn’t take payments over the phone. I switched to Payzone and couldn’t be happier with the card terminal and service.

Availability
The availability is great - the admin charge is not so great for infrequent users. Also to add a car to pay for a friends parking is costly, as there is a charge to add and if you forget to remove its an ongoing charge also.
@Payzone - Thank you for your reply and information on how the app can be used for infrequent users. Very much appreciated.
Given this new information, I will change my account as suggested and I have increased the review rating.

For infrequent users, we do have a pay as you go option. There’s no monthly maintenance fee, just a €0.35 convenience charge per parking session. This option provides access to parking only and doesn’t include the extra services and benefits that come with our account based option, such as tolling or discounts on fuel and car washes.
To switch to PAYG, first you will need to close your existing account by emailing parking@payzone.ie, then delete and reinstall the app and select 'Park without account.' for the PAYG option.
