Passmasters Motorcycle Training Omdömen 

I recently attended a CBT certification course with Passmasters and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. As a 49-year-old father of two, I prioritise safety and like anyone value honesty.

During the course, led by an instructor named Andy, I was joined by other participants, including a woman named Hanna who was retaking the course. One of the key assessments involved 'an on the road’ evaluation. During this assessment, I missed turning my indicator off once at the very beginning, after which Andy alerted me on the radio, and I ensured NOT to miss it again.

Andy also mentioned once that I was not going fast enough, prompting me to adjust my speed to match the speed limits of the road we were on. For the remainder of the test, I adhered to the speed limits, taking into account the traffic conditions and going to the max speed allowed by law and the vehicle in front of me.

At the end of the course, Andy informed me that I did not pass. His reasons were that I wasn’t going fast enough for the duration of the training and that I left my indicator on the vast majority of the time, which I found to be inaccurate. If I had been consistently leaving the indicator on or driving too slowly, I would have expected ongoing corrections via the radio, which DID NOT happen...however, Hanna was corrected. If I was making mistakes I would have surely been continually corrected too.

I believe the feedback provided/reason for not passing me was not reflective of my performance and seems in my opinion to be a tactic to encourage participants to re-enroll and pay for the course again. This approach raises concerns about the company’s integrity and honesty in conducting their assessments. I have no problem in not being passed but I do have a problem with the reasons given as they are simply untrue.

While I am open to retaking the course if there are valid concerns, I however find it unacceptable when the feedback is not accurate. Therefore, I will seek training with another company that upholds higher standards of trustworthiness and moral conduct.

Returned to them this year for a DAS course to take a full Cat A test.

I just wanted to thank you and your wonderful team from getting me from Zero to Hero with my CBT training input from Hooman on 30th September, then my Mod 1 on the 2nd November with input from Russel, Andy and yourself on today (28/Nov/202) having achieved my Mod 2 with more in put from Russel and Rob.

The team have been absolutely brilliant, and I will remember a great deal from them and thank you also to yourself for making the whole process seem so doable and for the good tips about the theory revision app (the theory test I had completed even before my CBT).

I’ve met some great colleagues along the way – I think all the people I trained consistently with have all passed! So, you are certainly living up to the company name. And I’ve learned a lot about possible next steps, possible routes around the UK and into Europe and even beyond as well as some great recommendations for enhancing my riding skills further.

My very best wishes to you, Hooman, Andy, Russel, and Rob. I really couldn’t have don’t it without you all.

I think it was Russel who said to me: “we don’t train you to pass a test, any fool could do that, we teach you to ride, and ride well”. And I think you’ve provided me a solid foundation to build from. I consider this the start of my continuing to learn to enhance my riding skills. And I’m really looking forward to the journey.

I was recommended PassMasters Motorcycle training through someone I know and had a seamless experience.

I took the DAS course and passed both the MOD1 and MOD2 first time as did my training partner.

The training staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and will guide you in the right direction. They also like to have a laugh so get your jokes ready beforehand. 'How can you double the value of a Kawasaki motorcycle? Fill it up with petrol..'

I recommend this bike training school for anyone looking to get their DAS - A license.

Excellent teaching, had a great time learning a completely new skill, passed mod 1 and 2 thanks to instructors. Special mention to Russell who puts things in a certain way and gives you certain tasks to do that just make things click. Never in a million years thought I’d ride a motorbike - now I love it! Thanks chaps!

Hooman is what I regard as a perfect teacher especially where keeping you as safe as possible in a high risk senario re Motor Bike riding.
Really patient, clear in his delivery of knowledge and delivered a steady and fun CBT success path.

Now I know why they are called Passmasters. Very professional group of motorbike instructor, very experience and veterans in their field. Took and passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. Many thanks to Russel, Andy and Rob who trained me very well to complete my A license. Also to Graham who sorted my bookings in my own convenience and Hooman who is also very a friendly instructor. Highly recommended and one of the best.

Hooman is an amazing trainer! So supportive and kind. He as given me so much confidence and helped me to gain huge amounts of confidence.

From the 1st point of contact, to completing the CBT, the guys at passmasters have been top tier. Could not fault them on anything or have asked for any more. Great communication and advice when booking the free taster, and extremely clear and patient training when
taking the CBT. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Did my CBT at the Lane End site. Really good teacher (I forget his name, but he has a braid in his beard). Really focused on teaching you to be as safe as possible. Professional yet comfortable atmosphere. Strict but not unfair. If I didn’t want my full license, I’d be back here every 2 years, 100%!!

I did my CBT with Passmasters and they were absolutely excellent. I had taken the CBT before on a manual motorcycle at another school where I didn't get to the road riding part because my glasses needed updating. My fault. I then went to Passmasters because it was close to a friend who was also doing it. In comparison to the previous school (which has pretty good reviews) this was just so much better. The progression from stage to stage was much better and really enabled everyone to get their heads (and body) around the teaching. The tips were excellent and unlike the other course taken they didn't waste excess time on things I could look up on the internet (getting very specific about clothing I already had, for example) so there was just so much more riding time with this course.
Despite living nowhere near them I will still return to train for my full license.

Started to learn the motorbike in March, first time ever, the helpful instructors got me up to speed within 3 days followed by a 5 days course, manage to get my full A licence all due to the excellent instructors. Its worth doing the 5 days course you get excellent instruction and some excellent info tips, do's & don'ts and experience of talented riders. I would highly recommend them. The Clue is in the name: PASS MASTERS!

I did my CBT with a local company that recommended Passmasters for my MOD 1 and MOD 2 training and preparation.

There are several reasons I recommend Passmasters:

1. They have more exam slots at the DVSA Uxbridge test centre than most schools.

2. One day we spent a chunk of time practising at the Uxbridge test centre itself which was super helpful.

3. Because of their proximity to the Uxbridge test centre you'll be practising on many of the roads that you might encounter on your test. This is a huge advantage.

and the most important:

4. They have phenomenal instructors.

I spent time with 3 of them and they each had slightly different styles and the same focus on safety, learning the important skills and ultimately passing your tests.

On my course, most time was spent with Russell who was a really great, thoughtful teacher. I also did classes with Rob and Dickie who were great, and witty too.

Christian and Andy are other members of the team and Graham manages a great team of characters.

I think that being taught by several different teachers brings added benefits as they each may notice or focus on different faults or strengths.

In short, Passmasters worked for me and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I passed my MOD1 last week, my MOD 2 yesterday and I'm looking forward to advanced rider training with Passmasters in the future.

From the first enquiry phone call right through to passing my Cat A I cannot fault their service, they were very accommodating and helpful and guided me from a very nervous novice right through to being confident on the road……at my own pace, without pressure.
I took my taster session and test with Norman and felt utterly safe in his very experienced hands, his instruction was friendly, patient and reassuring.

Big Thank you to Russell our instructor ! Lovely personality and doing super job ! Me and my friend have passed both MOD 1 and 2 on the same day after spending two days under Russells supervision! Did my Direct Access with Passmasters. Instructors are great and have plenty of experience. Passed my MOD1 and MOD2 with no errors!
Would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a motorbike license training.

Today after passing my Cat A motorbike licence i would like to take the opportunity to share my journey with Passmasters which has been wonderfully amazing right from the beginning till i obtained my licence. I would like to thank Graham who stood by me at all times, Tony with whom i enjoyed my CBT and Adrian who trained me for MOD-1 which i passed without any faults and lastly Andy who helped me with MOD-2 training. All the instructors were very friendly and understanding. They focused in person centred training it seemed that all had such vast knowledge and very helpful to understand the needs and area which needs improvement. I highly recommend all who love biking to train under PASSMASTERS. I once again like to thank each and everyone to accommodate me with short notices and provide me with excellent & skillful training.
