Ein Stern ist zu viel! Visa Debit Card wurde zunächst bei Abholung zur Bezahlung und Kaution nicht akzeptiert. Bei Zahlung einer Gebühr von 165 € war alles unproblematisch. Die Kreditkarte meiner Frau und eines Freundes wurde nicht akzeptiert. Ein Umschreiben der Reservierung auch nicht. Das ist Abzocke bei Touristen. Letztlich wurden sogar 180 € mehr berechnet. Tank war leer! Bei der Rückgabe wurden wir Zeuge, dass bei einem anderen Wagen ein dreckiger Innenraum moniert und eine Gebühr erhoben werden sollte. Nie wieder.

Beim Abholen in Gaziantep wollte der Mitarbeiter von pandora keine Kartenzahlung, sondern Bargeld. Das Kartenlesegerät war nicht da, es musste mit Wartezeit erst zum Flughafen gebracht werden. Mitten im Urlaub rief Pandora an, erklärte das Auto muss ausgewechselt werden, bei einer Polizeikontrolle werde das Auto ansonsten beschlagnahmt. Einen Grund wollte man nicht angeben. Absolut unseriös!!!!

Wish I could score zero. All three cars had issues. A clutch went on one which they charged us for. The replacement car didn’t have headlights so couldn’t be driven at night. The other car had 6 warning lights come up and the car drove poorly. They charged the credit card without our knowledge. They threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave the office. They failed to give us a lift to the airport. Jet 2 referred these cowboys then refused any help. Please avoid as they gave us cars instead of minibuses which we paid an extra £700+ above the normal rate for.

Don't ever use this company or their affiliated company called Turtas Car Rental (antalyarentacar). They are the same people and they insist on writing down your card number, expiry date and CVV so they can bill you without your knowledge. An honest rental company will use a card machine to take payment and holding deposit. Whereas these scammers write the card numbers down which is fraudulent and theft of personal information.

Hab dort ein Auto gemietet uber opodo gebucht mit zusätzliche Versicherung. Der Vermieter pandora hat die zusätzliche Versicherung nicht akzeptiert und ich musste 160euro nochmals zahlen. Abzocke nie mehr wieder. Finger weg von Pandora.

Eigentlich müsste man dieser Verbrecherbande keinen Stern geben! Am Flughafen in Izmir angekommen soll man sie an einem Cafe treffen, was schon ziemlich unseriös ist. Dann beim blockieren der Selbstbeteiligung sagte man mir, dass meine Karte nicht funktioniere was nicht stimmte! Ich selber schlug vor die Selbstbeteiligung in Bar zu geben und in bar wiederzubekommen aber er sagte nein es gebe nur diesen einen weg. Plötzlich kam er damit, dass ich nur 300€ in Bar geben soll aber diese dann nicht mehr wieder bekomme. Da wurde mir klar, dass das Betrüger sind. Ich rief meine Bank an und die bestätigten mir, dass meine Karte in Ordnung ist und dort nicht mal versucht wurde etwas zu blockieren. Ich blieb standhaft und sagte, dass bestimmt deren Kartenlesegerät kaputt sei aber auch das verneinten sie aber da ich nicht auf ihren Betrug einging, fiel einem der kollegen plötzlich ein, das Gerät mal neuzustarten und siehe da es geht! Nun wenn ich mir die Erfahrungen der anderen durchlese, sehe ich dass andere genau die gleiche Erfahrung hatten. Ich wundere mich, dass diese Leute noch nicht im Gefängnis sind!

Bu araç kiralama şirketinden UZAK DURUN – Tam bir hayal kırıklığı ve saygısızlık!

Geçtiğimiz hafta ailemle (sadece kadınlar ve iki bebek) birlikte 7 kişilik bir araç kiraladık. Araç teslimi gece saat 03:00’teydi, uçuş sonrası yorgun ve uykusuz bir halde vardık. Ancak araç kiralama şirketi, kredi kartı sadece ek sürücü adına kayıtlı olduğu için arabayı vermek istemedi. Ana sürücünün kredi kartı yoktu, ama geçerli başka bir kredi kartımız vardı – yine de kabul etmediler.

Bize hiçbir şekilde yardımcı olunmadı. Empati sıfır, anlayış sıfır. Yanımızda banka kartlarımız vardı, ancak onları da kabul etmediler. Sonunda bize, günlük 40 Euro ek ücret ödersek arabayı vereceklerini söylediler – bu ücret toplamda 200 Euro’yu aşıyordu ve geri ödenmeyeceği belirtildi! O saatte çocuklarla ve uykusuz bir şekilde bu teklifi kabul etmek zorunda kaldık. Çünkü orada mahsur kalamazdık.

Aracı bir hafta boyunca sorunsuz kullandık. Teslim ettiğimizde araçta en ufak bir hasar yoktu. Ancak konuyu tekrar gündeme getirdiğimizde, çalışan kişi bağırarak, hakaret ederek konuşmaya başladı.

“Umarım uçağınız düşer!”
“Siz Türkler hep aynısınız, çok yorucusunuz!”

gibi sözler sarf etti. Kadın olarak kendimizi tehdit altında hissettik. Bu kadar saygısız, düşmanca ve ayrımcı bir tavrı asla kabul edemeyiz.

We hired a car from Pandora Izmir. Communication was terrible. When we arrived at the airport, even though we paid for access cover insurance and I discussed it with the guy if there would be any other charges. He reassured us, we paid the highest amount and would not be charged for anything else.

When it was time to return the car, two men came over , checking the car thoroughly. In the end they started telling my husband one charges they applied. When I intervened they decided to leave. When my husband looked at his account that same day, they had withdrawn more than £200 . THEY ARE THIEVES. Once they have the access to your account they withdraw whatever they want. My husband had to cancel his account to avoid further withdrawals. Please do not hire from them !

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

I hired a car through Opodo with Pandora in Dalaman. On arrival they had no office at the airport and no sign of any representative. So, I called them and they said 5-minutes but made us wait 30-minutes. We were greeted with very negative attitude and it just felt off from the start. We were then driven to their office and the fun started.

Adem (supposedly the owner) checked my booking and insisted I take additional insurance from him for €12 per day. I said No as I had already bought the required insurance. He then said if I scratch the car even a little then he would charge me €600 which would be the holding deposit. I agreed to it and he asked me for my credit card. He pretended to use it to take the deposit but said it didn't work. I requested him to try again which he did but no luck. The only solution he gave me was that I pay €20 a day and he would let me have the car. I said No and asked for a refund to which he did not agree. I then called Opodo infront of them and complained that the company was trying to scam me. Adem then called me and became friendly and used the same credit card that didn't work before to hold the deposit and I was able to rent the car.

I read some of the reviews and the credit card scam seems to be their speciality. Don't give in guys. I know you are put in a very vulnerable situation but don't be scared and try reaching out to the booking company. But avoid this company and you will not have the hassle in the first place.

We booked a Jet2 Villa holiday with a Hire car. At the time of booking I took out additional insurance cover as I do with all hire vehicles I book.
Jet2 used Pandora hire cars at Dalaman airport. We were a party of 5 and were eventually picked up in a five seater vehicle which meant 4 people had to squash onto the 3 rear seats and obviously couldn’t use the seat belts. There was no nice greeting on pick up at the airport.When we arrived at their office about 21.30hrs the greeting was no better, I produced my booking form,passport, paper UK driving licence and International Driving Permit. Firstly he didn’t like my driving licence, then he wanted me to take out additional insurance which I explained I didn’t need and repeated several times and showed my booking form again to prove it. I produced my credit card to pay for security deposit and immediately he said it didn’t work he supposedly tried again and said it was refused again, I’ve never had a problem using my credit card abroad. He said he couldn’t use anyone else’s credit card in the group. He then said if I paid €600 up front and which I would have WhatsApp him in 21-27 days for a refund he was happy to take my credit card, I wouldn’t do this. He then offered his additional insurance once again and that we could then have the car! We had now been in the office for about 45minutes and had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. There was no way we were going to get the hire car so I agreed to buy the additional insurance at €105 unsurprisingly he suddenly became friendlier and was happy to accept any credit card from our group!!
I have never had a hire vehicle experience like this, it was clear from the outset it was a scam and you knew you were being ripped off, it left a sour taste right at the start of our family holiday and should we return to Turkey (unlikely) I won’t bother to hire a car. Incidentally the car was empty of petrol I drove 500 metres to the Petrol Station and filled it up using my credit card without problem! I would not recommend using this company.

The car hire company couldn't reserve the security deposit on my MasterCard Platinum so I was forced to buy an additional insurance costing 200 euros. My hotel didn't had any problems with the same card reserving much larger amount few hours later. Never use this company in Turkey - they give you the lowest price offer and cheat you later!!!

I had a very good experience with Pandora. My tire was broken and they have refunded me. Guys are available for late check-out. They refunded in time the guarantee fee. Very satisied.

Would be 0 rating if possible. Booked through economy car rentals. Pick up stated 5pm in dalaman airport. No sign at all of them. Had to ask local to call them and they picked up 15 mins later and took to hire place situated 1.5km outside of airport. Although purchased all the cdw, unlimited mileage, no excess option I was still told had pay another 10Euro a day to cover any minor damages. Car was new so no complaints over car. Then the real fun started on the return. Had stated 4.30am drop off. I even WhatsApp the guy the night before to check ok and replied yes. However on arrival at drop off point, there was no sign of anyone. No sign of life anywhere. Called the no given and was answered by guy who clearly in bed asleep. Asked him where they were. He said 10 mins. 4.45am and still no sign. Rang again and call was cut off. Tried again and cut off. Now starting sorry as had get airport. Tried another number and no answers. Sent Text to say we had leave and decided drive airport and would leave car there. At 5am drove to airport and luckily knew where going and parked car in airport parking. Whilst driving had call from another man saying we needed go back to drop off point. We said no they would have pick up car from airport as we going miss flight and then the man proceeded to shout in Turkish, got abusive and shouting. We said we would leave keys on driver side tire. Absolutely unbelievable service, total cowboys. Barely made it to check in before closed 10 minutes late. I had paid for early drop off etc so will be making complaint to economy car hire rentals too. AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR SAKE OF SANITY. Worst car rental I have ever had.

1. IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with them via phone call. Only after I found them in WhatsApp, I was able to talk to them via WhatsApp.

2. No office at the airport. Located outside the airport. As NO ONE showed up to pick me up at the pick-up time when I arrived, I contacted them via WhatsApp. Then, they said they would come to pick me up. If you do not know how to contact them, they would never show up! As I made a partial payment through ECONOMYCARRENTALS.COM, I had to do my best to contact them.

3. At their office, they told me that THEY COULD NOT CHARGE the remaining amount of my car rental in my credit card. I called my credit card company asking why it was being blocked. The card company said that the charge never came by. After they tried a few more times (faking!) to charge in my credit card, I was told that ,if I wanted a car, they would rent it to me at 200 EUROS SURCHARGE. I realized that it was a SCAM to get more money. I declined it and asked them to take me back to the airport.

4. If they could not charge in my credit card, how can they charge 200 more euros in my credit card??? PURE SCAM! Before taking me back to the airport, one more trial to charge in my credit card. Miracle! It worked and gave me the car! SCAM SCAM SCAM! AVOID THIS COMPANY. CROOKS!

5. Make sure you wash your car before returning it. They want a car in good condition for renting! It is your job to do it. Otherwise, you do not know how much they could charge you for not washing it.

This company is clearly fraud. They wanted a much higher deposite than agreed on, and the service was very unpleasent. I cannot recommend.

They came and brought the car at Izmir airport. They came and picked the car at Nevsehir airport. They communicated every time one day before where to go. Everything was smooth. Very good services and recommended company

Please avoid renting a car from this company; it will ruin your trip. We rented a Peugeot Traveller, accommodating 9 people, from Pandora Car Hire from March 13 to March 25, 2025. During this period, both rear tires blew out after driving around 100 kilometers. We had to pay out of pocket to have the tires replaced, costing 6200 TL. The tire shop informed us that Pandora Car Hire used very low-quality tires to save costs, which is why both tires blew out and were severely damaged, showing complete disregard for consumer safety. At that time, we messaged Pandora Car Hire to inform them, but they only replied acknowledging the flat tires. The entire trip afterward was filled with anxiety, fearful of experiencing another blowout! When we returned the car on March 25, Pandora Car Hire informed us that the car was originally equipped with winter tires and that the tires we replaced were not winter tires, plus there were scratches on the rims, so they demanded compensation of 400 euros. At the moment of the tire blowout, we immediately contacted the rental company and even had them speak directly with the tire repair technician, but they did not mention needing to switch to winter tires. To use this as a reason for a fine upon return is truly unacceptable!
