Well, here we are again, having ordered a stool last November, and put up with so many reasons why I can't have it along the way, at the end of March, which was itself another one their deadlines, I was told it be another three weeks.
I'm sure there's more than three weeks in March but here we are in April and not a word, this company is excellent at silence, one of the few things they know how to do properly. There are so many people out there losing their jobs because of covid, or struggling on furlough money, and my sympathy goes out to them all, and then there's this buisness, just being incompetent and burying their heads in the sand rather than communicate properly in a bid to keep the buisness afloat.
Do not use this company! Shockingly bad customer service! I ordered and paid for 2 items on 16th Feb. They never arrived. Despite several email exchanges, filled with false promises about the delivery of my items, I have now been informed that the items are not available. They have issued a refund. They tout their affiliation with the excellent Harvey Nichols, so I let HN know of my dissatisfaction and they are looking into it and taking my complaint seriously.
I'm not sure what's happening with this buisness, they're going down the rocky road of not replying to emails, the phone is no longer an option, (covid, but why no working from home ?)
They're selling things that are not in stock, Brexit wont help I know, but c'mon, be honest and communicate !!
They kept putting my order back, and now their deadline has passed, its Silence ...
PART 2
So I finally get a reply, spookily within an hour and a half of this review going 'live', even though this company is still advertising the exact item as "in stock", they admit there are none. I'm told that the manufacturer will restock on the 20th of last month and that paddy lifestyles will have them at the end of the month. I admit they didn’t say which month !!
Here we are two days into the following month and I ask when the despatch date is ? Oh we haven't got them yet, "It takes a few WEEKS for them to reach us"
Just one put off after another, I have no real idea when I will get my item, make your own mind up if you want to shop here or not, I've made mine up .....
An amazing online shopping experience! Beyond helpful and super communicative, it made such a refreshing change to receive such fantastic customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. (I would especially like to single out Christina for all her help. So lovely!)
