Pack N Send online services Australia…
Pack N Send online services Australia are fraudulent. They have debited my credit card, one month after I sent two parcels, saying the two separate $50 additional charges were for additional services. I paid this company the amount quoted for delivery. Surely, there would be communication prior if there was any issues, but under the cover of late night, I receive two PayPal notifications of the debit transactions. PayPal have within two hours responded with a NO REFUND response. So PayPal are as fraudulent as Pack N Send. The invoices have NO actual reason for the charges, just ADDITIONAL CHARGES. I won't stop until I get this money back, I'm presuming these hucksters are randomly charging client accounts with their authorisation powers. Scum.
My new wheels courier
Ive been using pack and send since 2009. Usually for bulkier items. This time I used them for a set of wheels/tyres. Door to door service between capitals in 3 days. Price was right, service was easy. My new replacement for eGo/hunter.
PACK & SEND...WAKE UP!
I have conducted business with Pack & Send for over the last 10 years sending consignments all over Australia with great success. Unfortunately the last few shippments have been a nightmare. P&S use Aramax for local deliveries and they are hopeless with consignments taking up to a week to even be collected. P&S are aware of this and and need to act. So, I've gone back to Australia Post for local deliveries, yes a few extra dollars but no irate customers!

At the initial start, you must provide greater disclosure about what is included in an online order, and a full-service order arranged in the shop.
There must be more effective communication between you, the outsourced global courier company, and the customer.
Communication must be proactive, not reactive to issues encountered during the shipment.
Ultimately, I got charged a very expensive price and I was extremely underwhelmed by the commiserate value provided for the price charged.
The whole experience was very disappointing.

I used pack and send to transport a very special package from Adelaide to Queensland. The ordering online was very straightforward, the pick up and drop off were excellent, the package arrived safely and the cost was excellent. I would definitely use again.

Several issues
Several issues. This was a recipient organised delivery. The online forms were clunky & unclear in this regard, & the recipient had to send the pickup forms to the person packing the item. (Much better if the recipient could simply provide the "packers" email). In addition, delivery firm's contact advice seemed to think i was both the pickup person & the receiver. Also provide delivery firm's name prior to paying to give me option of declining.... have had poor experience with the firm you appointed.

bad experience with using online sending and items sent completely destroyed
This is an updated review after I received a response from Pack and Send customer service.
In April I sent a fragile package through the Pack and send on line store thinking that i was going through a local depot. I had used this service before, as had friends and had no issues. On this occasion they failed at all levels after pick-up. The fragile items were wrapped well in bubble wrap, placed in a box with all gaps filled with bubble wrap and then placed in a second packing box which was clearly marked all over as containing fragile items.
The box arrived at the receiving depot in WA a week after dispatch but the tracking did not update. a few weeks later I contacted the recipient who then picked up the box from the depot. The WA depot could not explain why it had sat there for 3 weeks without contact to the recipient or sender. I contacted my local depot about the delay and they said it was a WA problem . When the box was opened, every fragile item was in many pieces. The local depot did not return my calls or I would have known that I had not gone through them as I first thought.
After the response from Pack and Send cusomer service to my original trust pilot review. I sent them a full timeline and actions taken and they responded quickly to say that I had used the online service so they could take no responsibility for the breakages but would follow up on processes.
It does not negate the facts. that if the local depot had returned my two calls I would have realised the situation better, the WA depot did not do their job and that my shipment was destroyed but I was not entitled to any compensation because I took responsibility online.
So the lesson learned is to be very very careful when using the online facility that you understand what it involves, deliver parcel/boxes to the local depot unsealed so that they can verify it is properly packed (take photos if it contains fragile items) and follow up any delays immediately. I am not sure if I will use them again but if I do it will only be through the local depot.

Useless bunch of staff now they don't even want to listen to a disabled person who can't get down to the pack and send and is abusive on the phone and won't listen. Stay clear of these crooks

Easy, cost effective and quick
Process was easy. Extremely cost effective. And parcel was delivered very quickly. I was a little hesitant about using an online service but having a drop off point and shop front in my regional town made me feel better!
