Disorganised and bad communication
Spoke to three different people before someone could finally help and confirm our order. We provided specific delivery instructions, but on the day we still had to call that morning to confirm the drop-off, only to find they had forgotten about our order.
We were given a specific delivery time and had explained that we were on a tight schedule for a connecting flight. When the agreed time came, we couldnât get in touch with anyone, and when we finally did, communication was extremely difficult. We were repeatedly told they were already there when they werenât, and they didnât actually arrive for another 10 minutes.
The entire experience was incredibly stressful and could have been avoided with better organisation and communication. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and poor coordination made what should have been a straightforward delivery unnecessarily difficult.

Very professional and straight forward with pricing. Seamless pickup from an ebayer and shipping to me in the US. Easily the best packaging I have ever seen on something I have received. They made a custom made a crate for a 114 lb vice and it arrived without damage. Top notch work from them and very pleased. Highly recommended!

Turntable shipped damaged, claim promised then refused â no responsibility taken
In June 2026 Pack & Send Salford Quays shipped a turntable to me from Adam Partridge Auctioneers (delivery ref GBâSALQ06101970). The auctioneer has confirmed in writing that the deck and dust cover were undamaged when Pack & Send collected it, but it arrived with a broken dust cover.
I reported the damage immediately, sent all the photos they asked for, and kept all the packaging. On 17 June they told me they were âin the process of putting a damage claim with the carriersâ and asked me to wait for slow response times. After more than a month of silence they then replied that they were âunable to process or issue a claimâ because I had not taken out additional insurance, and they have offered no goodwill or basic liability at all.
The result is that Iâve lost my buyer and now have stock I canât easily sell. If you are shipping fragile hiâfi or turntables, be aware that if anything goes wrong and you havenât paid extra insurance, Pack & Send Salford Quays may simply refuse to help.

Was strongly advised to use Pack & send by Chat GPT as we needed a glass induction hob sending up from Swindon. They were brilliant from start to finish as we were wary having bought one previously and delivered by Royal Mail which arrived smashed and there was nothing we could do about it.
The item was collected from the seller and pre packed on site and taken to their depot to be properly packed and held for a week whilst we were on holiday. The communication was brilliant and then it was dispached via FED EX and delivered the next day.
Here is where you can see the difference in the professional way the fragile item was actually packed to ensure its safe arrival. Although it may seem more expensive than others you are paying for a professinal service which is totally worth it for a seamless stress free delivery. We would definately use these again.

Moving Personal Belonging from UK to EU
I sent my personal belongings using Pack&Send when moving back to my home country from UK to EU. It was three boxes of miscellaneous personal items that P&S charged 165 GBP for.
They shipped the belongings using DHL, which then charged me an additional 140 EUR for customs processing on top of the 92.17 that the country of destination charged for taxes and duties.
Beware that when sending personal belongings with Pack&Send, they will not be able to handle customs procedures properly or tell you clearly about the cost of it.
They're refusing to refund any part of these additional costs, even though they weren't clear about them upfront.

I shipped 15 boxes of books from Oxford to Berlin. Pack & Send gave me by far the best quote. They were very easily contacted and talked me through the complicated customs procedures, at several stages checking with me to see if it was going smoothly. It's a personalised service.
