I can’t recommend this store enough
I can’t recommend this store enough, the staff are very helpful and friendly, not something that’s found now in a lot of shops. There is a really good choice of goods at competitive prices and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for my outdoor goods.
Keep up the good work Outdoor Action 👍

Not good
Not good, never received the item, didn't take responsibility for non delivery, neither did the courier. Had to take a £220 loss.

Good service I thought and reasonable…
Good service I thought and reasonable prices. I'm guessing they're a small company so they may have a few teething issues. I'll leave it that - but overall I would buy from them again

bad customer service
The colour of the beanie I received from them does NOT match the picture they put on their website. And their customer service was NOT great when I raised this issue with them.

The image on the website was 100% correct. Sold 100’s with no complaints. Customer didn’t like item as was trying to get a free returns on a low value item.

Great Prices, Speedy Delivery & Fantastic Customer Service
Bought a tent (Vango Galaxy 300) that was out of stock on many of the more well-known sites that I checked. The tent was far cheaper than anywhere else too, due to a 10% discount code from their site.
I checked reviews prior to buying and found their social media and felt comfortable that it was a legit site. Customer service is very responsive and helpful (I asked about stock of another item) and delivery was very speedy (just 2 days).
I highly recommend this site.

Fantastic service
I would highly recommend Outdoor Action. I ordered two items online yesterday (one of the items was out of stock in all but one other retailer) and both were delivered to me today, six days ahead of the expected delivery date. Unfortunately one of the items was damaged, but my email to Outdoor Action received an almost immediate reply, apologising and with a no quibble refund to my account - fantastic service, thank you

Boots arrived in a damaged box
Boots arrived in a damaged box. I returned the boots as I did not like the colour. For a return, I used the same box and wrote on it: "Damaged on arrival". The company 'stole' £6 from my refund claiming they cannot use the box anymore.

Svar från Outdoor Action Ltd
Thank you for your review
For clarity, the box the boots were in had a very slight bash in transit. So not the worst.
The issue was you in very large letters wrote Damaged on the box. This meant we can no longer sell the goods as new in original box, as the next person to buy would assume the shoes were damaged or 2nd hand which they are not.
We now have to dispose of the box, and sell in our store as not new, and at a much reduced price & reducing the chance of resale. Therefore had to reduce the refund to counter this.
Regards
Great prices with great advice
We live close to the store in Blackburn and its the only place we will go for all our Outdoor wear (we drive straight past Go Outdoors). We've just spent a good 3 hours being kitted out for our first ski trip. All done by knowledgeable staff, making sure that all equipment fit perfectly and was suitable for our individual needs. I support shopping locally and with independent retailers and when you get great advice with great prices you can't go wrong.

Can't fault
Bought W/P trousers and they arrived very quickly. Too small so returned. Not Outdoor Action's fault but money refunded immediately.
Another pair of W/P trousers ordered and again arrived very quickly. No problems this time.
Can't fault Outdoor Action and can happily recommend them.
