First class experience from start to finish
First class experience from start to finish. An item of clothing did not fit so I took it back to the shop, they could not do enough for me. The staff were excellent and attentive at all times. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again
Excellent Quality
I've been using Orvis for a few years now and find their clothes fantastic quality, service has always been excellent, some of the items are dispatched from America so can take a few days to arrive but for the quality of the goods it's worth the wait. The clothing is generally American sizing so don't order a size up as required with a lot of the European brands as its not necessary.
Slow to dispatch
I ordered a gift card using the Orvis online shop, for a birthday. This was not dispatched until 4 days after placing the order online which I consider to be unacceptably slow. I shall not be using them again.
Quality products, fab customer service
You just can't go wrong, returns are superb. The products are well made and the variety of lines is great. We bought a dog harness and dog bed recently which both were very nice.
Usually we buy accessories like fingerless gloves and scarfs. It is more than most places but you just get quality here!

Lounger Deep Dish Dog Bed With Memory Foam - Review query

Hi,
I just had a look at the reviews for this dog bed and was very surprised to see it suddenly has a 4.9 out of 5 rating, whereas it had only a 3.-something rating not too long ago. I discovered that you've simply deleted a lot of reviews - including my own of a few years ago.
If the dog bed had been improved in the meantime, that would have been excusable. However, judging by the reviews you left on your site, that is by no means the case. The bed clearly still comes as understuffed today as mine did several years ago - the reason for my returning it to you.
It is a shame, because once you FINALLY listen to your customers and improve this (very expensive) bed, I will be the first one to order it. I will NOT, however, pay £300+ for a bed that I then have to stuff myself - the way one of the reviewers took the trouble of doing. It's insane that she should have had to do so, in my opinion.
And the thing is, it makes you wonder about the quality of the rest of Orvis's products. Not to mention about how much your company actually cares about dogs.

Items received not as per description in the catalogue
I ordered two sweatshirts from Orvis. They both arrived looking different to what I saw in the catalogue. One of them was very obviously different with some quilting just missing. I was suggested to return both items for a refund less postage. I'm not now sure if any refund materialises indeed. What a waste of time. I did not expect receiving incorrect items for the top prices paid. No Orvis for me anymore.
Customer Complaint
I tried to make a complaint to this company but four emails later no replies to any of the emails. I even emailed their chairman still nothing.
Normally they are ok but their website availability of stock is awful.
I used to think this company excellent but complaints they just do not deal with.
When things go well for them superb but please do not make a complaint as it will be ignored.
Faultless performance on a straight forward order
Goods ordered were in stock and quickly dispatched. Website easy to use. Was kept up to date with emails. Without fault on this experience
