Emailed across for a quote and Karen emailed back quick and efficiently providing me with all the information required. We got given a date on the day we chose which was a Saturday morning. Mark attended our house to carry on the inspection. Went through in detail of what to expect and what the report may consist of. Mark was friendly, helpful and very professional. Covid restrictions were adhered to at all times by mark. We received our detailed report within 4 days and was offered help and support through out and even offered to discuss the snag list with the builders if we was not comfortable. Cannot recommend this company enough, definitely worth the money.

Called and spoke to Karen initially. She was a delight to deal with and managed to get an appointment booked for within a week’s time. Norman visited and was great, answered all my questions and found plenty of snags that I definitely wouldn’t have. All round brilliant service and would definitely recommend. 5*!

Working with New Build Inspections was an excellent experience, from scheduling, payment and the inspection itself. Our surveyor Martyn, was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. His inspection was on a Friday afternoon and on the Monday morning his comprehensive report was in my inbox. Very impressive!

After purchasing a new build property it was highly recommended to get a snagging survey done. After researching various companies who offer a snagging services, it was decided to go with New Build Inspections (NBI). By using NBI the service received was 5 star. Martyn, Lorraine and Rachel performed their duties to a very high level that meet my expectations.

Martyn with his years of building experience in the trade performed the snagging inspection and followed this up a detailed snagging report which was handed to the developers to rectify. Martyn also provided very valuable advice on how to protect yourself in situations where you have an architect certificate (covers major structural defects only) by recommending a snagging clause to be inserted in the contract in situations where minor defects come to light after you move in (post snagging survey) in which the developer has to rectify. Bear in mind that this advice was not part of the snagging service but Martyn did go over an beyond his remit to provide the best advice to his client.

I will highly recommend NBI for your snagging services for new build properties. It will be the best investment you make in protecting your new build property.

I found the service from New Build Inspections invaluable. A new house is a mixture of basic building techniques and sophisticated technology. To expect ordinary customers to know when something is wrong with a new house build is very unrealistic, and potentially very expensive. House buyers need professional knowledge on their side. It more than pays for itself.

The new build inspection was conducted professionally and promptly and the report arrived within days and proved very useful. I would however like to add that the customer service and follow up service provided with this company is outstanding. Every time I call post report they go out of their way to be helpful and give sound advice each and every time, I honestly couldn’t rate them highly enough.

Spoke to Martyn for advice and to point me in the right direction on a matter that was not really within his company's area of operations but in which he had extensive expertise. He was really helpful and took the time to discuss the issue thoroughly. He also gave me advice on issues which I had not thought of and impressed me with his technical knowledge and matter of fact style. This review was conducted professionally and gave us peace of mind when our son bought a new house, that there were no serious concerns. The inspector identified quite a few minor issues and a few mores significant problems that we wouldn't have picked up. The report goes to the builders so they take more notice of these improvements, as they were written by an independent inspector.

Much easier than I thought and worth the cost even if it's for peace of mind. As first time buyers, I felt we were really not qualified to carry out a detailed snagging assessment. After a phone call and a few emails, we were all ready to go.

After only a couple of days post inspection, we received a detailed and insightful report by Ryan. They noticed many more things than we did which was just what we were hoping for. Ryan also called me on the day to give a verbal update and commented on the good build quality of the house. This was some welcomed reassurance.

We've recently used New Build Inspections Limited to review our new forever home and I'd just like to say thank you.

The team were excellent at every point of the journey. The gentleman who visited to complete the report as well as the office staff who supported my queries and were happy to review points with the contractors time and time again until concluded.

They also helped me understand the difference between what I was entitled to have resolved and were even happy to negotiate a few small issues I wasn't entitled to have sorted to be changed with the good will of the builder.

The whole process was simple, easy to follow and the team were always there at the end of the phone.

Waste of money. Didn’t pick up one particular costly issue - major scratching on windows. When we had to go to dispute with the builder and he said New Build had agreed to leave certain items as they were but we wanted fixed, the New Building Inspector got scared and told us they didn’t want to get involved. Obviously no integrity or belief in what they are doing. Was suspicious when they forwarded our email directly to the builder. Why?
Our neighbours are also having issues and New Build confirmed they were right to be concerned but then backed out when knowing there was a dispute. Too late, they were already on record. Abhorrent behaviour.

Added: The reply from New Build is puzzling. I never asked them to include anything in a report, doesn’t make sense. Why would I ask for him to include things in a report and why would you bend over backwards to do so? I have never asked them to say any untruths, for what possible reason? Months later, I asked whether they had agreed with the builder to not fix the shower screen as he said the Inspector did, which New Building never confirmed or denied. The Inspector stated he never mentioned anything about a shower screen, yet there it is in black and white in the report. You just panicked. In addition, I believe you are muddling us up with another property. My review is fair of my experience. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt quite shocked at my New Build’s attitude, it was as if you were actually acting for the Builder.
