Having purchased Nature’s Aid products for some time, I wanted to know which ingredient in one of their products was responsible for an acidity sensation in my stomach as I chewed one of their tablets and some ingredient was quite strong in the mouth.
I hadn’t received an acknowledgment after a month so I sent another query but still haven’t heard anything.
If they haven’t got the courtesy to answer my queries, then I shall not purchase their products any more.

Normally when a company sees a review like this on TrustPilot they take action to put things right. Nature’s Aid has had time to do this and still hasn’t put things right.

Nature's Aid is excellent at dispatching ordered items. I like the way delivery is free which makes ordering easy too. Good range of products, too.

Like others here I received an email from Amazon recalling 10+ bottles of DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children because 'The product contains hazardous chemicals'. I was advised not to consume the product and seek medical advice if feeling unwell. As you can imagine, this was somewhat concerning given my young daughter had been taking these drops daily for over half her life. Email was sent on a Saturday with no further information; Amazon reps simply said they were acting on the instruction of Nature's Aid whose phone line was going to voicemail. Come Monday I received an emailed response from Nature's Aid to say they had initiated a product withdrawal on one batch, because it had 'registered slightly above recommended concentrations'. No further information, advice or indication of which chemical/toxin was in excess was provided. When I called again, I was simply told this batch had higher levels of fish oil (it's a fish oil product). The company promised updates on their website, including a Q&A for parents, which never materialised. Days later, they changed their tune and put out a public statement on their website to say 'there has been no recall issued on Mini Drops DHA'. No further updates since 2 May. Reputable fish oil products are regularly tested for environmental toxins such as PCBs, heavy metals including mercury and oxidisation, so I can only assume it was one of these that was in excess and the company is refusing to be transparent about the situation and any risks (even if negligible). Nature's Aid have provided an object lesson in how not to responsibly manage a product recall and that tells everything you need to know about their attitude to safety standards.

The delivery arrived in good time but when I opened the bottle there was no safety plastic cellphone or anything around the lid to fill me with confidence. In this case, anything could be added to the bottle and sold as comfry oil.

Terrible experience. Have used this product for years DHA drops, recently received an email saying the product has been recalled as it contains hazardous chemicals. No explanation as to what hazardous chemicals these are but to discard the product. My little one has had a bad cough and developed excema since Christmas and I’m worried this product has left a lasting imaovg on her body and I’ve had no clarification from natures aid on what the hazardous chemical is or how this has harmed her. Nature's Aid 'withdrew' their children's DHA drops but won't tell anyone why. Amazon states 'hazardous chemicals', Nature's Aid deny this but won't clarify what the product contained that resulted in the withdrawal. No chance I will ever consume any of their products again.

I have been buying the DHA mini drops for my 2 years old for a year and I have been giving it to her on a daily basis only to discover on 27th April 2024 that it contained hazardous chemicals.
NA has been very opaque about the issue when Amazon issued a recall. I have been in touch with NA a number of times and no transparent information was provided as to what the hazardous chemical was, what quantity was in excess and what is the impact on my 2 years old health.
This is completely unacceptable. I have lost trust in this company and will never buy their products again.

Now Nature's Aid are saying there is no issue and blaming amazon.

Was informed that the batch that should have been withdrawn had not reached consumers, yet a number of people have got photo evidence of the batch in their hands so had obviously reached the consumers.

Nature's aid have advised several times that they would provide Q and A for information and gather information together to reassure us concerned parents but have now back tracked completely and are just waiting for us to all forget about the situation and disappear.

This product is aimed at babies as young as 3 months, and now we have no idea what we have given them and if there will be any long lasting effects.

All we have wanted is some reassurance and evidence that our children will be okay? But instead, Nature's Aid have gone silent and not providing any information.

I've waited on posting a review being hopefull (naive?) that the company will do their due deligence and all is fine. The only thing they've done is a really good job at blaming Amazon.

Here are a few facts for anybody considering purchasing anything from Natures Aid, let alone products for infants and babies.

- Amazon emailed saying the product contains hazardous substances

- After 2 days Natures Aid released a statement that this was merely a withdrawal and the affected batch never reached consumers, blaming Amazon for doing the recall in error.

- People started sharing pictures holding the bottles from the affected batch (obviously it has reached the consumers!).

- Natures Aid promised a Q&A on Monday - this has never been released (Thursday evening now)

- Parents still have no answer from Natures Aid what exactly was wrong with the batch - what component and how much by besides the "fish oil" answer.

- Natures Aid confirmed on multiple phone calls that only every 3rd batch gets tested. No answer as to why only 1 batch was disclosed as affected.

- I was promised a call back on Monday and of course there was nothing.

- Especially annoying is the company posting online about "sweating" when there are parents loosing their sleep not knowing what they'd been giving to their babies.

The general feel is that Natures Aid are waiting out for parents to give up and for it to go away with time.

Not handling the DHA recall situation well. I haven’t been contacted back.

I would never trust Natures Aid again, they are handling dha mini drops situation pretty badly and lying to people on such a sensitive matter. For example, they stated that they issued a product withdrawal (taking back the product before it reaches any customers). But several people have bottles from the affected batch. They have been very slow releasing information. We need full details asap! Testing reports, exact levels of how much the thresholds were exceeded. I think this company should be investigated asap and all their products tested!

Unacceptable Product Recall - Natures Aid DHA Drops through Amazon
I am writing this review to express my outrage at a recent product recall from Amazon whereby Natures Aid is the manufacturer. In July of last year, I purchased Natures Aid DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children. Just this week, I received an email stating the product has been recalled due to containing hazardous chemicals! I trusted you and your product to provide vitamins and should AID my son’s maintenance of a healthy heart, brain and vision- YET YOUR PRODUCTED COULD HAVE CAUSED SIGNIFICANT HARM AS it contained HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS!!!!
Here's the most disturbing part - my son, who was 19 months old at the time, consumed these drops! Amazon offered a simple refund as compensation. This is absolutely absurd! A refund does not come close to addressing the potential health risks my child may have faced.
I am utterly disgusted that Amazon considers a measly £5 sufficient compensation for potentially exposing my child to harmful chemicals. Their response is shockingly dismissive of a very serious situation and I cannot wait to see how Natures Aid responds to my emails.
This experience raises serious concerns about the safety of products sold by Natures Aid. Parents trust YOU with the well-being of their children.
Other parents, please be aware! Check your cupboards for these recalled drops and take immediate action to protect your child's health. Furthermore, I urge Natures Aid to take product safety and recalls much more seriously. A simple refund is not enough when a child's health is potentially at risk.

I wouldn't trust Natures Aid.

After they found out from their supplier there is a higher level of a hazardous chemical that affects health in their Omega 3 oil for infants and small children they quietly withdrawn a whole batch from the market - not addressing customers that were already using it!

They are refusing to show any testing resuls and previous batches were never tested. They refusing to specify the chemical found elevated.

NA inforned 250 worried parents (via third party) that previous batches are safe, but refuse to back it with any relevant information.

Public statment re this was changed at least two times, all questions are dismissed by turing comments off and not replying to their social media direct messages.
