Speed dating experience was good
Did a speed dating event with CheekyDate in central Denver, and it was great. Had a blast, much less stressful than I thought it would be. Hosts were there and very helpful and very gracious. I plan to do it agai!

A great way to meet new people!
My first ever speed date was with MyCheekyDate, and I’m glad I did it with them! I’ve been to mixers before that didn’t have much structure, and as someone with quite a bit of social anxiety it was intimidating. That’s why I really appreciated the structure that MyCheekyDate has; it made it so much easier to talk with people and be myself. I highly recommend the experience, and plan on going to future events. Maybe I’ll see you there!

Cheeky at Grafton
Organization. The event did not start on time, saw some guys were back to girls twice..its not good if you have 13 girls and 8 guys ( e.g.)..think numbers should be the same..and the most important thing- I could not see online profile of some guys..I was told somebody will add it manually and let me know if something was changed..
Did the organizer do it? Nope.
So, overall is soo nice experience, I do not mind paying for this kind of event but speed date with MyCheekyDate last week was so disapointment. Not going back to them.

There isn’t a set start time for the speed dating portion of the evening — we like to allow guests time to arrive, get comfortable, enjoy a drink, and mingle with fellow daters should they wish. We did have a few gents fail to show and need to reschedule last minute. We wish we could control such things, but unfortunately we cannot.
With respect to the Smart-Card scorecard, if you ever feel you didn’t meet a couple of gents, it’s always best to let the host know at the event so they can quickly rectify it. You’re also always welcome to reach out to our office with the names of anyone you fancied meeting again and were unable to do so on the scorecard — we’re happy to help where we can.
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll consider joining us again soon for another event. We’d love the opportunity to provide the seamless, enjoyable experience our lovely daters have come to expect.

Organized and Easy
The events are organized and it's easy to submit whether you are interested in someone else online. I have met some nice people at them. My only feedback though is that the spaces that are selected can be loud, which makes it difficult to hear others.

Well organized, but communication channels could use improvement
The event was mostly well organized, with frequent emails communicating what needed to be done for the online profile in the days leading up to the event. The host was amicable, and generally kept the event running on time.
However, the only means of communication after the event with a potential match was email. Despite matching with someone, I received no response to the email I sent the following day, nor with a follow up email sent later in the week. With email, I had no way of knowing whether my email had simply ended up in the recipient's junk folder or if I was being ignored. This turned my initial optimism of the positive experience of the event to downtrodden uncertainty as to whether I had adequate opportunity to connect with the other person at all.
I will come back and try this again, but this experience was quite demoralizing and exchanging phone numbers, rather than email addresses with matches could be an improvement.
Age distribution was also difficult at the event. The window was 25-39, but as a 25 year old, I did not meet anyone younger than 30. A more limited age range for people in their 20s would be nice.

We also want to clarify that it is very intentional that we only share email addresses with those you’ve matched with. While we understand the suggestion about exchanging phone numbers, providing them would create a significant security risk. With today’s tools, it’s surprisingly easy to uncover personal details such as home addresses through reverse lookups, and we take the privacy and safety of our daters extremely seriously. Email allows connections to begin in a secure, private way while keeping personal information protected.
We do recognize your frustration if a message goes unanswered — whether it ends up in a junk folder or simply isn’t replied to — often times daters are busy and haven't yet had a moment to respond.
We also hear you on the age-range point. While we aim to strike a balance so that everyone has a good mix of matches, we agree that sometimes a narrower window — particularly for daters in their 20s — could create more ideal introductions.
We’d love to welcome you back again soon and hope your next experience brings the connections you’re looking for. After all, cupid and kismet often work best when given more than one chance. 💕
