It's great for any anime fan
MyAnimeList is amazing because it help you stay up to date with everything in the anime world. You can see all the ongoing and upcoming animes, related news and articles. I especially love the recommendation feature. Basically the community recommends anime similar to the one you're checking out right now and it has been very helpful to me when looking for new things to watch. There are also rating and reviews so you can filter out some of the lower quality stuff.

This site is completely biased. It caters to elitist weeaboos. Users and Mods lack any analysical skills whatsoever and accuse you of trolling. Fans get upset because of your opinion, and flag your reviews. The mods hate you because you have different opinion than they do. This site reviews aren't helpful and are just catering.My reviews where specific,and they hate it with a passion. Myanimelist hates
freedom of speech, so beware. Myanimelist is just like a Islamic Country. You have been warned.

Good website, subpar community
The website itself is great, but the community is ruining MAL's anime/manga database with constantly releasing pointless first-episode reviews - desperate need of moderators to monitor these reviews and get rid of them. Can't even trust the rankings of the anime/manga anymore
