Great service centre! Just moved to the area and took my Dethleffs motorhome for its 4th year water ingress checks. Friendly welcoming staff. Easy check-in. Went through service report clearly and explained minor fault found to be resolved under warranty. Also had helpful advice from their service electrician on a charging query I had. Will definitely use again when next service due.

We were left to browse at our own leisure and there was no rush to get a sale. Karl was amazing in talking us through our options and explained the whole process in detail.

The staff were approachable patient and communicated well.

Excellent service from beginning to end. If I was nit picking it would have been nice to be shown how the wifi worked and fitting the awning wind out handle for us.

Staff were always friendly polite and helpful. Queries were answered quickly. Choice of vehicle was great. No pressure to buy. We were left to look at vehicles in our own time. Facilities excellent. No complaints at all only compliments.

I’d like to share a recent very positive experience, specifically the excellent customer service from Katie, Service Advisor, and Andy, the alarm technician. We bought our Hymer last summer and took it down to Stafford in January for some warranty work, including microswitch replacement. They needed it longer than the three days it was booked in for, as seals had to be replaced (this was a massive job). Katie kept us informed throughout, and let us keep the courtesy car until we picked up our motorhome in early February. We had requested a walk-through of the alarm system and central
locking on collection day. Katie and Andy came into work on a day off specially to do this. The alarm has been going off intermittently since then but we’ve had several phone conversations with Andy, who’s given us advice about how to resolve this.

Excellent service and communication but labour cost for work is far too high

Company that are not responsible for manufacturing problems in the products they sell.

I have emailed them on numerous occasions and they have failed to respond

The service from Karl during the later stages of the pickup journey was excellent. Karl was very thorough and kept us in the loop as we travelled through Asia from Australia. His assistance through a difficult period helping to get insurance was very helpful. We are sure, without his help, there would have been no Hymer for us. The handover with Jason was also very helpful and professional for newcomers like us. All the questions were answered and the walk through very insightful. The experience for these first-time motorhome buyers was exceptional.

Purchased a motorhome, great initial sales experience but then once you've paid for it the trouble begins. They promise to fix issues, don't call back, don't email back, can't get you booked into the workshop. Will never purchase from them again. Even when you do get booked in, you get fobbed off with 'fixed it', only to find out they haven't, or they have bodged it, rather than repairing it with new/replacement parts. Would never recommend these to anyone.

I have visited Travelworld many times but I will try to confine this review to the last visit as requested.
I had some warranty work completed on the garage of our Hymer as there was a leak. On the first visit only half the work was done as not all the seals had been obtained. We were only told this whilst waiting on-site for the job to be completed.
On the second visit, the work was completed along with an annual damp check. It was pouring with rain as we departed so we couldn't really inspect it properly but we did notice that all the locker doors had been left unlocked (in the parking area) as was the passenger door. The light had also been left on in the garage.
When we got home, I looked at the newly sealed door and was disappointed with what I found. The seal and the surrounding area was filthy. The alarm sensor for the garage door had been badly refitted and would fracture the wire over time.
I sent a message to Travelworld with photos, chased them up and eventually received an answer 3 days later that they would fix it.
However, it is a 4+ hour round trip and I didn't have much confidence in it being completed quickly or effectively based upon previous experience.
I said I would do the work myself but some compensation would be reasonable.
I simply received the response that there would be no compensation - A small discount on my next visit would have sufficed. My main concern that I expressed to Travelworld was that the failings that allowed this to happen should be addressed.
I heard nothing more from Travelworld until the invitation to submit this review more than 4 months later.
After many disappointments with this company I now limit my visits to just the required damp check for warranty.

Travelworld specifically stated "We can offer no compensation for this" and made no offer to pick up the vehicle. I have the email evidence. I received no further communication after that email.
