Terrible customer service from Acorn…
Terrible customer service from Acorn and Motorcade – absolutely disappointing
I would not recommend Acorn or Motorcade based on my experience. I sent my documents to Motorcade, but my policy was cancelled, and I have been left stuck between the broker and insurer, with each passing me to the other instead of resolving the issue.
I have dealt with around five different team members, and it feels like none of them fully understands my case or can provide a clear resolution. I have been left waiting for responses and struggling to get straightforward answers.
Since the cancellation, I have been faced with extremely expensive insurance quotes of around £1,400 per month for a 1.0-litre Skoda. I am also concerned about cancellation and possible fraud markers recorded against my details, which could seriously affect my ability to obtain affordable insurance.
I have provided documents when requested and repeatedly tried to get this matter resolved, yet I still feel ignored and passed between companies. This situation has caused me significant stress and financial difficulty.
I want a clear explanation of the cancellation, confirmation of exactly what markers have been recorded and by whom, and a proper investigation into how my case was handled.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing these companies.
