Way too biased. Very pro left, far left, Biden, Harris and so on. It not journalism its opinions. What's the point?

On July 3rd MB reported that June private sector jobs dropped by 33,000, while jobs actually increased by 147,000 jobs! This exceeded the projected 100,000 jobs. Is MB engaged in typical media false reporting or just incompetent?! Wow

Thought it was apt to post since the event was posted by Trust Pilot, whose VP of marketing called their customers weirdos and wackos if their reviews had been flagged in the past (for some reason my reviews have been flagged in the past despite being super legit).

Anyways the event was about Martech: AI, Attribution and the speakers barring a couple were complete lightweights with very little insight and knowledge. It would be fine if it was the local meetup group but given it was a ticketed event - $179 for a approx 3 hour session, the lack of depth and cluelessless displayed by a majority of the speakers makes me not want to trust the Morning Brew events team again.

They have no way to report false information on their site. They stated you could hire hitmen on the silk road darknet site, but this is false. Every listing for hitmen on silk road (and the darknet at large), was posted by state agents to arrest people, or by scammers. Theres zero evidence that anyone has ever placed a successful "hit" on the darknet. Only people arrested for attempting to.

The one star is for the lack of reporting errors, not for a single error in reporting.

Had been a subscriber for a couple of years. The newsletter is very biased and left leaning. I had hopes that it would be more independent and unbiased but ended up being much like many other media outlets and tech companies.

I used to love reading this newsletter, but it has become increasingly left leaning and biased. I’m not sure what changed, but I’ve unsubscribed. I’m looking for objective news reporting, and this is not that.

What's the point of curated news, if it is completely biased?

This curated news by Morning Brew is entirely too political. Everything is pro-Harris in the past few months.

You don't get even half the picture of what's going on broadly in the United States, let alone the world. Because they spend so much time on petty political fights, and only show citations that favor Harris.

Their bias has become increasingly blatant. Every article is dripping with liberal agendas or straight up propaganda. It has become a far left “news” source. I’m not a conservative but I don’t want news that is literally just opinions, it’s written as if two interns from msnbc tried to outwoke each other. They seem to hate men and will put in little jabs at conservatives that aren’t even factual. The men’s gymnastics team won a medal for the first time since 2008 and they won’t even mention it. What people fail to realize is the general public is becoming aware and fed up with these clear biases, and it’s making people turn to conservatism and not trust any news sources. So in reality their plan is backfiring on them. So maybe I should thank them for their unprofessional behavior?

If you want liberal tears and biased opinions that are being stated as fact than this is your letter! Just once I wish this paper would stop being so damn liberal and instead just tell us the business news. But when in New York, cry liberal all day long.

I unsubscribed this morning. I want to read the news. I don’t want the person “reporting” to make judgments about what that news is. If he thinks someone is lying, that’s an opinion and news.

The experience is informative & brief enough compared to TV or longer articles that I haven't cancelled. Humor in the articles is a miss for me, particularly the references. It's often targeted at some audience I'm not part of and lately can be distractingly confusing, especially when that article is in the email's subject line. More problematic in my opinion are the ads. Many with AI images and scammy finance-bro language. They might very well feature an article on "AI slop" and then have some just below that article. It feels gross and unprofessional, especially in a newsletter aimed at busy professionals.

Many claims that pique enough interest for further reading usually have links to articles behind paywalls. It's become more common in my experience, and might be important to some readers. Sometimes a statement is made that I would like followed up on, as I couldn't find a source to match the Brew writers' claim after some quick searching.

Similar to other media outlets, Clearly biased and one sided response to the protests. So much for freedom of speech

If you want non biased reports on politics don't look here. Definitely left leaning opinions you can just watch CNN instead. Watch Russel Brand to get a true perspective.

Sadly their journalists all too often let politics and feelings get in the way of reporting actual facts. Even more unfortunately, they "site" articles that are also dripping with personal feelings and opinions rather than any form of fact. They are just another example of the reason why trust in journalism has plummeted. And they probably stand around a table in an echo chamber trying to convince themselves that it must be everyone else, it could not possibly be their lack of quality.

King Charles III was "coronated"??? Since when is that a word? Answer.. It isn't. The word is crowned.

My inbox was inundated with spam messages the day I signed up for this newsletter, and I'm unable to unsubscribe from all of them now.
They claim that they do not sell, trade, rent, or share any personal information, but since it was the only website I registered with that week, I don't have any other explanation.

It’s a great service that gives me all the latest news to my mailbox.
