Despite the bad reviews I have read I can only go on my personal experience.
Placed order for 6 bottles of wine at a good price. Despatched and received within the week.
Also packaging was fantastic. Each bottle was bubble wrapped to perfection. Would definitely use again.

Prices look great but after order placed they do not deliver. When support is contacted they just say the order will be dispatched in a few days.... still waiting over 2weeks later.

Avoid like the plague. Placed an order for a case of wine. A week later, no dispatch and no contact from MOD. Emailed them (there's no phone number) - no response. My order was then cancelled, with no contact to explain why. Absolute sh*te.

2 x magnums of Veuve rose champagne ordered for my friends birthday and were not delivered.
Initially they said they were signed for when asked for copy of signature this statement was retracted. Asked for photograph of parcel delivered not forthcoming. DO NOT USE this company use champagnes direct instead - they deliver the items.

This company now operates as Simply Wine with exactly the same issues.
No confirmation email
No way of contacting them as they don't reply to any correspondence.
I did eventually get my wine but I had several sleepless nights worrying that i had been scammed.
Therefore I wouldn't recommend this company as a consumer needs to trust the supplier.

Very good prices, delivery took a little while (hence the 4 stars), but arrived well packed. Was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but unnecessary, will use again.

dormant on companies house, to an opend busines, but website still taking payments. Just a scam.

no reponse to emails, contact for doesnt work, must be money laundering or just a basic scam.

This company say that products are in stock then leave you hanging!

Worried when I saw reviews. My order was however delivered within 2 business days. Wine was best price I’ve seen in uk too. So all in all great experience. Only negative was no order confirmation via email.

Abysmal service. Ordered a £100 bottle of rum for my father’s 70th birthday and paid nearly £10 for delivery. It took 7 days to arrive as it was ‘delayed’. No communication when I complained about the length of time for delivery. Very poor and disappointing as a simple apology would have made a great difference.

Its been once month and my order hasn't arrived. Asked for a refund and they advise I will get one once I return the item (that i haven't received!!) Its clear from the parcel force tracker that he delivery was never delivered.

They are fraudulent, read all reviews , you will not receive your products or refund and they will never respond to emails , live chat does not work and there is no phone number

This is my first review ever, but I feel compelled to warn everyone to avoid this company at all costs. Once you place your order it will become "pending". After you have placed your order it then becomes impossible to contact them, they will not answer the telephone, respond to emails or acknowledge your communication in anyway. It is impossible to find out if your order has been received, processed, acknowledged or even when it will be delivered, if at all. Please do not use and warn others not to either.

I ordered before checking the reviews. After i checked reviews i was worried by all the bad experiences as i had paid around £70 for a bottle for a birthday. I received communications via email and text when anything changed with my order (it was being packed, it had been shipped, the courier had receieved it and when a tracking nunber was available) i placed my order on 22.03.23 and received my order today 23.03.23. VERY VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE 5* SERVICE AND WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN. Competitive pricing and great communication.

just poor ! never received items and not refunded avoid at all costs like other buyers i wish i had read the crappy reviews before i gave my money up
company's like these need abolishing to make room for the legit ones shame on you ministry of so called drinks

I placed an order during Black Friday sales.
They failed to deliver it on time and when questioned promised that it would be delivered soon. Nothing came and I cancelled order and received a refund, by which time the Sales were over.

What an absolute waste of internet space this bunch of Circus clowns are. If only I had read Trustpilot reviews first. People read the reviews and run, run fast and far. Thank goodness for Paypal who have the clout to sort things out. A thoroughly nasty experience.

Terrible service, contacted PayPal, they provided a phone number - straight to voicemail every time. Nil response to my messages to “customer service”.

AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

I placed an order for nearly £150 of drinks and 10 days have transpired without any explanation as to why or if there’s a delay. I will be asking for a full refund and won’t use them again. Very poor customer service.

Always found Ministry of Drinks excellent, well packaged, delivery on time and whenever I've asked a question they've replied quickly. Used them in the run up to the last two Christmases an no complaints at all.
