Very disappointed with my experience at Mil Collections. The staff were extremely rude and lacked basic manners and professionalism. Instead of being helpful and respectful, they made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
When I send to them your review is so bad he said we don’t care

I am extremely disappointed by the aggressive harassment we received from MIL. An erroneous charge was made to our BT account, which BT subsequently corrected and fully credited. Despite the account being clear, MIL continued to pursue us for the non-existent debt.

The behavior of their representatives is unacceptable. When presented with the facts and proof, staff members were dismissive, arrogant, and mocking. They refused to review the account status and simply repeated demands for payment.

It required an escalation directly to the office of the BT CEO to get this agency to cease contact. Their complete disregard for consumer dignity and accurate record-keeping is deeply concerning.

Had Louise deal with and she was amazing went above and beyond to to help me through my problem. Louise was so kind and very understanding. Thank you for your support

Liah Rose is fantastic, she provided help and guidance in a sticky situation and assured me with answers to questions that relieved my anxiety. She really did go the extra mile.

A bill from BT had been credited back to us. However MIL collections still chase using incorrect business name and phone calls and texts. They do not reply to emails and definitely do not listen to what they have been told. Even when you send them evidence that this account has been credited they still chase.
They staff can not talk English and are very hard to understand. They are a shocking company to try and deal with. They really need to do staff training and learn to talk English

outstanding invoice purchased off bt for £40.00 which we do not owe , have emailed have sent proof have emailed BT

now i have decided to make a counter claim , may cost a little but i will make sure i get the charges all added as i dont owe BT or then a penny

Incompetence at its best chasing the wrong people harassing with constant communication even after I proved without a doubt not to be the person they look for, rude and incompetent advisors, managers do not return calls, impossible to open a complaint this are the worse incompetent people in this business

This company should be struck off saying they purchased a debt from BT. Number 1 the only bt i had was tv. And if you didnt pay each month they switch it off. Then with the switch over to tnt it had to be cleared on the account for tnt to take it over. So how the hell can the debt be there something is not right and if you dont pay you cant use there service something stinks about buying a debt with out showing any evidence and putting £1300.00 on for telling me they brought it. I will now sue BT for thae hassle and stress

Sending an overdue electricity bill demand to The Occupier? REALLY?
Octopus energy are still chasing us for a previous tenant's bill.
We don't owe them anything and have never had an account with them.
They said it was all sorted but today we got a letter addressed to The Occupier demanding payment from MIL collections.
This type of harassment is unacceptable.
If you don't know who owes the money then don't send threatening letters to the current occupiers who don't owe you anything.
We gave octopus energy the lettings agent's details. They should be your first port of call to find out the name of the person that actually owes money.
Do your job properly and stop harassing innocent people.

There was throughout a friendly, highly responsive and courteous handling of the sensitive issue of debt collection.
From the outset the focus was on resolving the issue fairly and equitably.
It was also helpful that one representative conducted the whole process of inquiry until the final resolution.
At no points there were any threats expressed

“I was contacted by MIL Collections Ltd regarding a debt for IHQ Systems Limited (Company No. 09350336), which was dissolved in May 2022. I have no personal liability and have not signed a personal guarantee.

I am a vulnerable person, being registered blind and living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Despite informing them of my disability, they continued to pursue me, causing stress and impacting my health.

I have sent formal complaints and a Subject Access Request (SAR), but the matter has not been resolved. I would caution others about aggressive or inappropriate contact from this company, particularly for vulnerable individuals.”

Having an unpaid debit is never nice. But the service with MIL was excellent. Jordan especially was outstanding blending understanding and a true human approach to my situation made the process of paying it back almost a joy! Almost I still had to pay what I owed!!
Jordan worked with me to set a payment plan and followed up when he said he would. He is a credit to the business. Professional, understanding, kind and a true gentleman.

I had my identity stolen to set up an account with an energy company. This had not been paid. MIL collections were appointed by the energy company to recover the debt. They contacted me following their processes. I explained that I had never had any dealings with the company, and had not lived at that address. I was advised to contact Action Fraud, and after sending further proof of my identity, I have been advised that they accept I was not responsible for the debt.
I was assisted by Ryan Hobbs, Dylan Hill and Dan Brown who were all very helpful and polite.
