Dont mail you beforehand when you have a subscription and dont reply to the customer service email address they give so have cancelled all subs and will be shopping with a company that values its customers from now on.
Awful customer service. Purchased the Thyroid Supplement and after taking just one capsule starting having palpations! Not what you want! Left them off and tried again few days later and same happened again! They really couldn't give a toss - no response from email sent to them. wouldn't ever use again.
Most of the ingredients in the Mastic Gum Formular can be harmful over a period of time.
Will not be buying anymore again, seems they are all out to harm us, beware people.
been using this company after it was recommended to me, i find the company good and the products, some times orders a bit slow in coming but i put that down to royal mail. I've tried others in the pass but these are far better
It says one drop a day and discard the bottle after 3 months. I got really confused because at 1 drop a day, the bottle is still more than 3quaters full. The dispenser is over sized for just one drop. The bottle is way over sized based on the space advice. Otherwise, I do not know what size this recommended drop should be. Kindly explain please.
I'm an American expat living in Spain. I've used Metabolics multiple times when I was living in the UK. I placed an order to be shipped to Spain. Metabolics' website clearly indicated that they shipped to Spain. They even have a pop-up in the lower right corner with information about VAT and customs for orders to Spain. Their FAQ has information about Brexit indicating that they still ship to the EU. I placed the order and provided an address in Spain for shipping+ paid for international shipping. The order was decent sized. A couple hundred bucks.
They emailed me later that day to indicate that they no longer ship to Spain and that they'd be refunding me.
It's been 8 days. Still no refund.
I've expressed to their support team how annoying this is that their website is misleading in this regard. They were unsympathetic and just reiterated that they've processed the refund.
If they don't ship to Spain anymore, that's fine. It's not even a massive amount of money. But now I have to spend time on this, and keep checking to see if the refund has been processed and keep dealing with it as an item on my to do list.
If their website hadn't been misleading about their shipping options, I wouldn't be dealing with this over a week later.

Unfortunately, at the time you placed your order, we did not know there were issues delivering to Spain. Following Brexit, shipping to European countries has been tempestuous with things changing, country by country, every day. We are constantly looking into better solutions with a variety of couriers but, regrettably, shortly after you placed your order we found that our Spanish deliveries were not getting through customs so we had to make the decision to halt shipments so as not to inconvenience our customers, or leave us forced to wastefully destroy returned stock. My colleague responded politely and sympathetically to your email and apologised several times for the inconvenience, she also made clear that a refund was issued as soon as we were able and gave you a timeline for when you should see the money back in your account. You responded to her polite email with anger and swearing, which is not acceptable, despite this, she continued to answer your questions politely and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we cannot control the time period for the refund to be processed as it is dictated by your bank. Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused, I can assure you we are doing everything we can to service our European customers and take customer service very seriously. If the refund hasn't appeared in your account by now please get in touch with us via sales@metabolics.co.uk or +44 (0) 1380 812799 so we can look into this with urgency.
Ordered 100 ml of liquid Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) which was not cheap but arrived quickly and expertly packed. (Amazingly good service from Metabolics - thank you!) However, upon reading the instructions on the bottle I realised that I'd wasted my money.
Directions state to take one drop in water with food daily. Do not exceed the stated dose. Consume within three months.
The bottle contains 1333 servings, which means that I'll have to discard the bottle whilst it's still two thirds full.
Disappointing approach to sales.
Metabolics were unable to supply anything in larger quantities or offer discounts on bulk purchases. We wanted something like a 1l bottle instead of 100ml.
The reasons behind this, they told me, was that they don’t offer products in larger formats and they don’t offer discounts on bulk orders as they are “a small, family run business and, because we manufacture everything ourselves here in Wiltshire”.
They would only produce “product lines and sizes based on consumer demand” – which is exactly what I was giving them. They make the product I needed in 100ml bottles so why not just pour 10 of these into 1 bottle?
This all made future purchases impossible.

As we discussed in our email, we are very sorry we are unable to cater for your product needs. The reason we are unable to manufacture in the size you require is because we would need a new, costly machine to do so and, as you are the only customer to have requested this in such a size, the demand would not warrant the cost of the machine.
We would also have to order larger size bottles, which brings with it its own costs, MOQs and storage implications. As also discussed with you in our email correspondence, producing products in larger size bottles brings with it stability issues; we pride ourselves on not using artificial preservatives in our products so that nothing interferes with the active ingredients, so we have to make sure customers would use the whole bottle within three months of opening the product, therefore a 1 litre bottle would be unviable.
I am sorry you were so disappointed by our response, you appeared to be understanding of these points when we discussed them in our email but should you have any further questions at all, please do not hesitate to get back in touch with us.
